Big Brother 19 Live Feeds Recap: Week 1 – Sunday
|We got to watch the drama unfold on the Big Brother 19 live feeds yesterday after the Veto Ceremony took place. We all knew that Cody had something up his sleeve but he was pretty hush hush about what his final plans were for his renom choice on Big Brother 2017. Keep reading to find out what happened in the Big Brother 19 house yesterday!
There has a major shift in the alliances in the Big Brother 19 house this season and it’s only week one! I guess that’s what happens when you put together an alliance and manage to stab half of them in the back. Keep reading to find out what happened on the live feeds yesterday with my Big Brother 2017 spoilers!
There really is only one thing to talk about but then there are a few things that revolve around this, but I’ll try to make this quick. First we had the POV Ceremony yesterday during the Big Brother 19 live feeds. Feeds were down for more than an hour, so we knew something good had happened.
When the feeds came back, we had some really angry and upset HGs. Two of them more so than the others and those were Paul and Christmas which we knew wasn’t a good sign. After listening for just a few minutes we found out that Cody tried to BD Paul. As we knew, but the rest of the house didn’t, Paul had one the Den of Temptation and has immunity for the next three weeks! Paul was really made because he thought that he was in good with that alliance and didn’t think that Cody would betray him, let’s be real though, this is Big Brother!
Now, on to the next order of business, as I mentioned we had a second really angry HG after the POV Ceremony. Christmas was also in a sense BD by Cody. She was part of the very same alliance, but Cody thought that she was the closest HG to Paul so when Paul couldn’t be put on the block, he aimed for Christmas. This has unleashed hell in the house!
Paul and Alex have vowed to break up the showmances in the house, Christmas is trying to get the HGs to understand that even though Cody stabbed her in the back, she still trusts them and we are starting to see as the HOH alliance is slowly crumbling.
Cody renoms Christmas because she is a huge threat, but did he really think that he would actually be able to pull the votes to make that happen? His only alliance member at this point is Jessica, but he doesn’t realize that. Mark is going to vote with Elena who plans on voting Jillian out, but Mark is making Cody think he is voting for Christmas. Dominique is playing both sides of the house. He might have Jason and he’s trying to get the Outsiders, but Ramses seems to be with Christmas on this.
This is going to be an extremely interesting eviction on Thursday and I can’t wait to find out where this whole thing ends up. I will be putting up a poll a little later so that you can tell me who you think will be evicted this week on Big Brother 19.

Cody is playing too hard, too fast. He miscalculated his sway over his alliance. He miscalculated Paul (and BBs ability to throw a wrench into the woodwork). He miscalculated his HOH power. He miscalculated when he equated secrecy with strategic gameplay. He thinks having to nom 5 people in one week is a good thing. It’s not. Time to recalculate Cody because your gameplay is not adding up.
Yea, of all the head-scratcher moves Cody has made, watching him be GLAD he got to nominate five people was the king of all head-scratchers. Just another symptom of his HoH-itis! He truly believes you can tackle the BB house head on and make people do his will, I guess. He’s used to forming bonds with alpha-males, and I think he thought he’d locked in a rock-solid alliance with the other two in the house (plus their “babes”). I still think I would like him as a person in real life, but he does NOT belong in the BB house – except for the sparks flying, thank is. Oh, he definitely is a strategic thinker, but his strategy is WAY OFF for BB!
I think he had a strategy in his head since day one and refuses to readjust it accordingly. He’s extremely focused (a good quality to have in BB) but not at the expense of ignoring what’s going on around you. You can’t get through the game without alliances and he just blew all of his up. He threw a bomb out there and it exploded in his face. I think there was some unexpected collateral damage. Only he’s too alpha-male to see the broken pieces. No matter how great he thinks his telekinetic powers may be, he can’t will the other hgs into submission. He reminds me of Paulie. He can double-cross but can’t BE double-crossed. Entitlement of the alpha male.
Hi all! If you’re interested and not too busy celebrating July 4th, The Amazing Race Canada starts tomorrow at 8:00 on CTV. I love that show.
Still don’t like Cody or Alex. Kevin is growing on me with his witty charm and Christmas is a smart lady. Love Paul! In the beginning of his season last year I hated him but as time went on he grew on me. He’s funny, intelligent and caring. He acts like a tough punk but he’s really a nice guy. I think Cody has bitten off more than he can chew and it’s going to come back and choke him out.
He said his original strategy included “no showmances” – he certainly adjusted that one real quick. Ha! Dumbo.
Sounds just about right on the nose, as usual, Cat!
