Big Brother 19: Premiere Surprises – Who Got Evicted First?
|Big Brother is always full of surprises, but nothing compared to the surprises that we all saw last night on the Big Brother 19 premiere! If you missed last night’s episode of Big Brother 2017, you can find my full recap right here and get all the details!
Last night we watched as the 16 HGs moved into the Big Brother house and almost immediately, they were faced with their first temptation. They were told by Julie that they would be tempted by money, safety and power, but what did this mean? The Big Brother HGs soon found out!
Well, I don’t even know where to start with last night’s episode so I’m just going to give you the quick version. First temptation was $25,000 and the HG who took it would remain anonymous, but that person would have a personal consequence and the house would also have one. Needless to say, someone took the money and that someone was Kevin. They were then told the consequences.
The personal consequence was that the HG that took the temptation would not qualify for the first HOH. The house consequence was announced shortly after. While they were reeling about someone taking the money, the doorbell rings and we find out what, or should I say who was the house consequence. Paul from Big Brother 18 is back, but he isn’t just moving in, he is replacing someone in the house.
That leads us to temptation number two, Safety. Paul is told by Julie to go get a box from the other room, but not to open it until she said to. When she tells him to open it he finds 9 friendship bracelets inside. The HGs would have to tempt him with friendship to earn one of those bracelets and whoever did would be safe. At the end he gives bracelets to Kevin, Raven, Dominique, Mark, Jason, Jessica, Ramses and Elena. The final eight would compete for safety.
At the end of the comp, Cody wins so he is safe along with Alex, Matt, Josh and Megan. Which leaves Cameron, Christmas and Jillian on the chopping block. That brings us to the third temptation, Power. They three up for eviction had the power to choose how they would be evicted. Either by house vote or a comp. Whoever lost the comp would be evicted. By a vote of two to one, the house had a vote.
In the end, the HG that was evicted on Premiere night was Cameron! Make sure you come back tonight to find out who was voted into the Den of Temptation and be offered the Pendant of Protection! This will protect them from eviction three times, but what consequences will it bring on the rest of the house?

I like Paul but i’d rather see him tweeting up a storm than participating in the game. I’ve said this a MILLION times but i’m going to say it again. Returnees do NOT make a level playing field!! It’s as though 16 newbies wouldn’t hold our attention so they throw in a familiar face to draw us in. Throwing Paul into the mix makes it a popularity contest. Already this morning i’ve seen numerous polls that suggest most are voting for Paul to win the “temptation” thereby assuring he will be in the game for at least 3 more weeks. Production will protect their boy at all costs. IMO its costing us a season of originality.
Good point! Who would you vote for Cat?
Never really thought of it like that Cat. Very good point. It does make it a lot harder for the newbies to compete when you have someone in the house that not only has the popularity with the audience but he’s also played the game already which gives him an advantage which isn’t fair to the newbies.
Either Ramses or Matthew. In my opinion none of the women deserve 3 weeks of safety. Maybe that will change but i’m not impressed so far by them.
I agree I was trying to vote for Matthew and then tried Ramses but neither worked. Guess it’s because I couldn’t see the terms box to agree and submit my vote. Stupid work access!!!
Go Ramses!!! He’s from my city!!!
It’s very hard for me to believe Paul was popular with viewers. I was so sick of him last year and now to see him back really made me mad. He is so obnoxious. I am voting for Matt to win the Temptation Sorry that I don’t agree with everyone about Oaul.
Oh Barbara, you are not alone, I agree 100%.
Hi Todd! It’s so nice to see you, hope everything is well with you.
Been stressed with new job and moving this week. I am so out of the loop on life lol
Awww I’m sorry Todd. Moving and dealing with a new job is a lot to handle for sure. Best wishes things will get better real soon.
(singing)…**Just put one foot in front of the other. And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor…**
Sorry guys for not being on last night and just catching up today central Iowa had like 9 tornadoes from 3 pm to 9 PM. I did not get to watch much and of course other things going on. Paul was a shock but Cat is RIGHT AS ALWAYS. Production always gets their way except for Audrey Middleton. They so wanted Audrey to succeed they broke every rule to let her finish.
Paul will be a force throughout the season unfortunately.
No need to apologize for not being on. Glad to see all is well with you.
Glad your safe Jon and back chatting with us. You’ll have to stream last nights episode to catch up…there was a lot and it was pretty entertaining!
