Big Brother 2013 Racism: Should They Be Kicked Out Or Not? (POLL)
|It is Monday afternoon and we are just waiting for the Power of Veto Ceremony to take place sometime today in the Big Brother 2013 house, but until then let’s start up a friendly conversation among our Big Brother 15 family! So, the big issue on Big Brother 2013 has been the racist and homophobic statements that have come out of the mouths of many of the HouseGuests this season. CBS even put up a disclaimer on the Live Feeds and on the show last night about the comments being made and watch at your own discretion. So, should CBS kick out the HouseGuests that have made these comments or should they stay on Big Brother 2013? Take our Big Brother 2013 poll below!
Here are my thoughts (and don’t let it sway your votes), but I feel they should stay in the house. Why? This is a reality TV show and what are seeing on that TV screen or computer screen is real life. There are no scripts and no filters. These ignorant people are being themselves and it is a sad display to see in the year 2013. Problem is: this goes on around the world every day and it is always covered up someway or somehow.
Save 30% over last year and order your Live Feeds today!!!
Discrimination and hate is alive and well in this world and for me, this shines a light on the subject. Many people thought racism was gone or homophobia is gone. I mean, the Supreme Court allowed gay marriage, so everyone accepts the gays now, right? WRONG!!!
Am I disgusted by what these girls are saying? Yes! Do I think they should go home because of it? No! The incident between Candice, GinaMarie and Aaryn last night on Big Brother 2013 was despicable and I give props to Candice for not slapping either of them in the face. The moment between Candice and Howard after the huge blowup and he carried her out of the room was beyond amazing. It was touching and brought a tear to many eyes that were watching.
When all is said and done, these people will have to deal with their actions in the Big Brother 15 house when they join the real world again. Jobs lost, friends lost and a big white light shining on them as people I do not want to associate with. The world is now talking about the issue and people are riled up about it, but that is a good thing. Keep those talks going and maybe it will change the way certain people think or talk about other human beings.
Just my thoughts, but share your thoughts in the comments and vote in our poll here:

Big Brother should be ashamed of them self, To allow these 3 girls to stay is an out rage, Not only to America, But to sit there and allow these innocent people inside the house to have to live with these girls, to have to put up with the racist comments,The first thing I would do when I got out of that house was to file a law suit against BIG Brother for not protecting me from these kids of girls. when THEY COME OUT i HOPE THEY EACH GET BOOED AND THE BOOS DO NOT STOP UNTIL THEY ARE MADE TO WALK OF AIR AND NOT BE HEARD FROM AT ALL. make THEM WALK AWAY IN DISGRACE.
its a REALITY show – why kick them out for how they are in Real Life – this is BB and it is to show people living “their” life in a house with others.
Because they don’t deserve to win, or even have the opportunity to win when their actions have been such.
Amen MaMaRAE why kick them out? :Because they don’t deserve to win, or even have the opportunity to win when their actions have been such.
Who says they are going to win? I do not think they stand a chance of winning as they do not know how to “play the game” – they have no strategy and no one on their side – obviously they will be voted out – which is probably the “BEST of the BEST” to see Aaryn walk out of the house into the Audience crowd and see how they react – if they boot out these players then we dont’ get to see a reaction from the audience or any questions from the host. I want to see the Reaction from the audience and Aaryn’s reaction as well. Actually all 4 of them I want to see the audience reaction (aaryn, kaitlin, ginamarie and jeremy) do you think they will be booed or applauded? How will we know if they are not evicted through the BB process? It is reality and reality tv is what I tune into watch when i wait and watch BB.
They should be removed from the show as a sign that this behavior is not going to be tolerated in society anymore. Is it a “reality” show…yes, but unless people start to stand up to bullies these attitudes will never go away. By ignoring the issue and waiting for them to just go away it’s giving the message that their behavior is exceptable at the time (and those around most suffer in the meantime). It’s nonsense and not what good gaming/sportsmanship is about. CBS should make a stand…just as every other person past and present that has ever made a radical change in society has felt obligated to do. You don’t make changes by just sitting by and waiting for these type of people to “go away”. As a viewer it bothers me that I have to personally sit and listen to this crap. I like watchingBig Brother, but this group of “haters” has got to go!!!! Reality is standing up for what you believe is the right thing to do.
I do not think cbs should kick them out they are doing a good job of it on their own i do however think that they should not benefit from the accolades that those on big brother do after a show is done.
Ifeel the racists & bigots should be taken out of the house. Just because they have the right to their thoughts & feelings, doesn’t mean that the others have to live & be subjected to that in their faces every day. Most people can walk away from racists, the other houseguests can’t because the fools can follow them around in the house.
I think they should stay. Just think what a reality slap in the face Aaryn is going to get when she walks out. Its not possible for either of them to win. It sheds some light on a controversial subjuct. The blonde and brunette bimbo ACTUALLY believe they are saying nothing wrong.
But see you are allowing the victims to have to suffer through these living conditions, and by doing so that is a crime in it self. maybe not criminal but morally it is, To see someone doing this out on the streets I would be the first to jump in and put a stop to it, Big Brother has done nothing. why because of ratings they mean more to CBS then the fact several people are suffering every second these 3 are in the house, and law suits will be filed after this season by several players, and I would not settle with CBS at all. and I am a white American, and I find this disgusted. We already know the hatred The south has for Blacks Latino’s and all other minorities, Do not continue to give them a platform for they hatred.
I am with you on this B T… CBS only cares about the ratings or they would of done something by now. I am sure they are warned before entering the house about this, and their emotions get the best of them, but come on, did you hear Aaryn last nite when she was packing her things, what she said her mom would probably say? They should be aware that the viewers are outraged by their behavior, Aaryn thinks that all of her friends will think it is stupid of what they are saying about her. IF nothing else they should have a double eviction this week to get out both Aaryn and Jeremy. I can’t believe how phony he is, I sure hope no one buys into it. Helen seems to be gullible enough to buy it. All I can say is Shame on you CBS!
It was difficult to watch what Howard and Candice went through the other night, but I agree with the blog editor, it was also beautiful. Watching Howard overcome justifiable anger and “be the better person” was something we ALL should aspire to, even if we never face racism ourselves. What the house guests do not know is that they will, indeed, reap outside the house what they sow inside it. And that includes Candice and Howard. I’m not just happy that Aaryn has lost her job. I’m also delighted that so many Americans see Howard for all his quality (game play aside). I hope he will likewise be rewarded when he leaves the house, too. And even more so, I hope others have learned something from this – like I have, even though I always thought I wasn’t racist and tried to live my life respecting others. I know the conversation on these BB blogs have kept me rivited and engaged! I think the discussion is worth it. I’m just sorry Howard and Candice have to endure it for a short time before knowing America is behind them.
Also– why would you rob Howard and Candice the opportunity to grow and show others what it means to be classier people in the race debate? Or rob their house guests from coming to their aid as they did?
I agree 100%. They need to stop this now!!!
I’m from the south so please don’t lump us together. We are just as disgusted as you on their behavior. I am from Texas and wish I could meet Arryn face to face to let her know she is not welcome around us. I agree she should have to see Julie and the audiences reaction to her. But she will turn on crocodile tears, and say I’m sorry well kiddo day late you are racist and immature. Glad you list your job! Get her Julie.

We watch as a family and I have an 10 & 8 year Oldsmobile that watch. I don’t want them hearing this sort of flith. A regular TV show you know it’s scripted, nut for me to allow my kids to heat such ugliness from adults would be wrong of me. CBS lost a dedicated fan of their show and respect for allowing this to go on.
Wow! I never knew ‘Oldsmobiles’ were so sensitive. Maybe next time you should get a couple of Fords. I hear they’re ‘built Ford tough’. lol
I’m sorry, Stacy, but please get off your high horse. If BB was “family watching” material and you didn’t mind your kids watching all the hooking up and lying that normally exists on BB before the racism talk, then I have NO IDEA how the racism BB into taboo viewing! This is a beautiful way to show your children how wrong what those thugs are doing is. And how words can hurt others – whether or not it’s intended. And how even people who are beautiful on the outside can be evil and ugly on the inside.
Well said, Lilly! My son is 13, and we watched it last night, and that’s exactly what we did – we used it as a teachable moment. My son actually like Aaryn to begin with because she was “cute”, and he has learned that there is more to someone than just looks.
One web site called Howard ….COWARD…. Because he did nothing when this fist started days ago. That is how society sees it. Not being a man!!!! He was sooooooo chivalrous when he picked up Candice. Show i t. Show what a REAL MAN should look like
.
I think the girls should be voted off.
And as for Howard and Candice, I have to admire them for not showing their A** the way that Aaryn did, I look forward to seeing her get voted off the show. I hate that she keeps saying she is from the South, I live here and I am not that way.
Candice is one of the prettiest girls that has been on the show. I hope she wins.
I say let em stay…let em keep running those mouths…when BB is over and done and they go home their lives are gonna be forever changed and I’m willing to bet not for the better..hec 2 have lost jobs already…the public don’t forget ….and don’t forgive so easy…being in that house is the only peace and quite they got left til they go home…
I agree, let these people stay and let the game play out. This is what a lot of us have to deal with either in our face or behind our backs. Show what is going on and don’t sugar coat it. Let this show play out as it normally would.
Racism is ugly and should not be tolerated! However, this season has, in my opinion, brought to light the way racism raises it ugly head. I find it horrible how some of the cast make racist statements or use racist mocking mannerisms toward other house guest and then are surprised when someone says they are racist. My hope is that when the house guest see their season that they reflect on these issues and grow from it.
I agree, Andrea. Has it escaped most people that Aaryn honestly doesn’t think she’s racist? (Frankly, I just think she’s a bully and would treat anyone that way; it’s just easy for her to use racist comments against the minorities in the house.) There are people like her out there. We can only hope when she watches this season she may LEARN something!
Heck the one Blonde is from Texas, they WILL HAVE A TICKER TAPE PARADE FOR HER WHEN SHE GETS HOME, YOU KNOW IT WE ALL KNOW IT the Republican SOUTH IS HAILING THESE GIRLS. AND WILL GIVE THEM THE KEY TO THE CITY’S AND SOME Republican tv SHOW WILL GIVE THEM A JOB, you KNOW IT AS WE ALL DO, IT IS A SHAME AND IF CRIMINAL CHARGES COULD BE BROUGHT i WISH SOMEONE WILL BRING THEM,
As a southern republican I have to disagree with you on that one. I am outraged by the racism of these girls, especially Arryn. However, you are now discriminating against Texans, Southerners and Republicans. Than makes you no better than the mean girls on Big Brother.
As a conservative Alabamian, I echo your remarks. Southerners (and conservatives) are watching this and are highly offended as well. How is stereotyping all Southerners any better than all minorities?
NO they should be allowed to stay. I’m sorry but racism is part of the world that we live in. I get racial comments made to me all the time but I get over it and go on, it’s just part of life. When are people going to live in the real world and I’m white.
I feel they should be punished in some way, but that’s just me. I would love to see them on slop and in the cockpit room.
I loved how Howard was trying so hard to throw the competition, to put them on slop… Too bad it didn’t work…
Todd I understand your point of view, and agree with most of it….with that being said, I say they should be kicked off.
I agree that is it a reality show and that is how they really are. But life in the house is not like being in the Real world. In the real world you can mostly avoid those type of people if you so choose. In the house you are stuck there and are left to tolerate the hurtful comments etc. In the real world GM could of gotten punched right in her big mouth for getting up in someone’s face like that…on BB you get kicked out like Willie Hanz did for giving the other guy a shove….!
So in conclusion, I agree that its a reality show but why are some things intolerable and others are tolerated?
So if they want to use the disclaimer that it is a reality show then Candice, Howard & Helen should be allowed to take action against them for Racial Harassment.! Let’s keep reality real.
I know that they will have the backlash upon leaving the BB house but I don’t think it is fair to the abused to have to constantly put up with that.
I see your point, too, but as long as BB keeps them from feeling threatened, how is this more difficult than what other house guests have to endure from bullies who gang up on them – like Jessie did the other night? She couldn’t leave the house either. She just had to leave the room and seek support from others in the house. And, thank goodness, the better house guests have supported Howard and Candice. The REAL problem is the casting this season in the first place. About HALF this house should have been on Real World instead of BB!
That actually furthers the argument…Jessie was being bullied by the same ones as the minorities. In reality if bullying is brought to the attention of those that can do something about it (school, work, etc) then it is generally addressed. Maybe not have the outcome that we would all like but it is addressed. In the BB house it doesn’t really seem to be addressed since there are no repercussions for their actions. If they are allowed to stay in the house and have been warned about such actions/behaviors then they should be penalized in some way….maybe be a have not if they are not already or have to spend some time in confinement etc. They should not be allowed carte blanche in there!
Well, JO1, you’re just ignoring the fact that they ARE experiencing consequences. Jeremy had to tell the house what he did to Elissa’s hat, buy her another one and apologize. But words are mere words. Some of these idiots WILL experience consequences – the loss of jobs and the anger of the public – they won’t know know about until they get out. Slapping them on the wrist while they are in the house will only serve to stifle real speech. I assert that what we’re getting now is closer to reality than BB has ever been. And they should keep it this way – barring any physical threat – to allow us to learn from the broader discussion. And to allow the actions of these people to be instructive. Besides, didn’t your mom ever tell you life wasn’t “fair”? Too many in this country want everything to be “fair” or some higher power to step in and make it so. I mean, this is BB- a reality tv show – not school where the teacher puts kids in the corner to correct their behavior.
Frankly, the real problem is in their choice for house guests in the first place. Maybe they will learn a lesson for next season?
Kick em off !! No more racism , I will not watch any more !! It makes me sick to hear it!!
What you need to do is keep watching, learn from Howard and Candice how to deal with adversity with ultimate class and restraint, and VOTE MVP to the person who will get them OUT asap!! If you don’t some moron in there could decide to take Aaryn or GM to the end so they have an easy win. You want one of them to actually come close to the money?!
BB should kick these girls out and bring in 3 players who ended up in second place. It would make the show exciting and fun to watch again. We have enough hate in the world to have to watch it on my favorite reality show as well. It’s torture to watch innocent people deal with this hatred. It would not be fair or okay to see any of those three girls make it to the end. I’m stunned BB is allowing this to happen in the house. What is it teaching those that are watching? Stop the bullies from ruining BB. Get them out.
I totally agree with you Lucy… that would be awesome if they let three other players into the house. as someone else said, there is no where to go to get away from the abusive people, they have to live there 24/7, how is that ok? I just don’t understand. BIG DEAL they put a disclaimer on before the show… BFD… What doesn’t stop what is being done.. Bravo to Howard for stepping away, that did bring tears to my eyes watching what he was saying… biting his thong when he shouldn’t really have to. It will continue as long as Aaryn and GM are in the house… Period… end of story.
I voted ‘yes’ in this pole. However, there is an addendum to my vote. I understand this is reality TV and that these people are being themselves. It isn’t that I want to censor the show. It’s the fact that the same people making these remarks are forcing themselves on people in the house repeatedly. There have always been heated scenes in the BB house. But, to my knowledge there has never been a group of house guests that repeatedly got into peoples’ faces pushing them to the breaking point. If this type of behavior continues no one would blame Howard, Candice or anyone else from becoming physical. The problem is – that would cost the offending person their spot in the game and expose them to possible criminal prosecution. All while the racists bullies who are starting it all safe in the house with a chance of winning $500,000. How is that fair? So, not only for their comments, but also for their antagonism, I say – throw them out!!!
If Paula Deen can be kicked off of TV, for just admitting that 30 years ago she said a racial slur, and lose all her endorsment deals, then why are these 3 racists allowed to stay on TV!?!?!?!?! Get them off of there NOW!
I am with you Pat Dean every one has said the same thing about Paula Deen its so not fair…

I am from the south and all people here are not like these two girls. I do not think they should be taken out because of what they have said but because of their actions. When they turned over the bed and threw the cloths and other items on the floor that is when I think they should have been kicked out. Part of the game of BB is getting under the skin of the other house guest and shaking them up so that it will mess with their game play. But to mess with their cloths, personal items or beds is another thing.
The scene between Howard and Candace was heart wrenching. I watch a good drama on tv and shed a few tears for the characters. But this was no tv scripted drama. Which makes it all the worse. It’s real life in its most gut wrenching form. People have always said that they would do inside the house what they wouldn’t do in their real life. But is that true? I don’t think so. Maybe it is for the lying and backstabbing because it’s necessary for the game. But to attack someone because of race or sexual orientation is not the same. If it’s your instinct to say racist slurs INSIDE the house then it’s your instinct to say them OUTSIDE the house. Racism is not gameplay. It’s a learned behavior. That being said…i hope they don’t kick them out. If Aaryn had never been on BB then no one would know her true feelings. And now it’s on full display for the world to see. I will say it again…the evil we don’t know is scarier than the evil we do know about. How can you fight back if someone is keeping under wraps their true feelings? I know..i know…it’s hard to watch. So how do you think Howard or Candace would feel if we turn away from our tv sets because it’s too painful to watch? Think of THEIR pain…and feel it. And know that flicking off the tv or kicking them out doesn’t stop it from happening. The more i watch the sleasy, lowlife slurs, the angrier i get. And that’s a good thing. It makes me want to take action! It lets me never forget that there are people out there that need standing up for…or people standing with them to say..”i’m mad as hell and i’m not going to take it anymore”. So take a good look America. This is what’s hiding in our midst. We might deny them the money if they are booted. That’s not enough. Let us never deny that they are a representation of all evil that is still among us. It NEEDS to be in our face if we are ever to win the war. Kicking Aaryn out is not winning the war….it’s just winning one battle. And sometimes we need reminders that the war is not over.
Amen!
Cat, I agree with you on this. I think the problem comes in at the point of them potentially winning $$. That would make it seem like they are being rewarded for their bad behavior. That is the thing I have the most issue with.
They’re not that good at gameplay to win any money (at least in my opinion). Pissing a whole house off with your dumbass comments is NOT a winning strategy. Making friends and influencing people works MUCH better.
Cat, unless they decide to take a hateful person to the end with them for just those reasons. We need to give the MVP specifically to the person who talks about getting Aaryn and GM OUT. I voted for Elissa the first 2 weeks because the balance against her was so unfair, but now we really need to make MVP MEAN something. If it goes to someone OTHER than Elissa, they’ll assume we approve of them and their game play!!!
Good point Lilly. I told myself i wasn’t going to vote for Elissa again. But here i am considering it. Maybe you’re right. I hate to keep voting the same every week but these mean girls keep ticking me off EVERY week. And so far Elissa has done the right thing with it…so count me in! 🙂
Exactly Lilly. Like when Helen started talking to Aaryn and seemed like she would take her for easy beat…hope she don’t cop out like that. It is all that much more important to vote MVP and get the mean kids out.
A friend made a good assessment of these bigots. Maybe they are fully aware of what they are doing and are hoping to use this “celebrity” and condemnation to get support and jobs from the likes of FOXNEWS. Interesting concept.
A you really that stupid? There are millions of non-racists who watch Fox news. Cheap shot.
Lilly,
Apparently you don read very well. I said a friend made the assessment, not me. Get your facts straight.
Look, I’m not here to get into fights with other commentators. I admit I may have overreacted and jumped too quickly because I’m a conservative who is SICK of being labeled stereotypically. But you have to admit the tone of your comment was that you thought your friend’s thought was valid.
Your comment about Fox News is as bad as what this site is complaining racism is about. You BP are not thinking with all of your faculties. You should be ashamed of yourself because you apparently don’t know what you would need to know when it comes to good journalism. It’s now obvious to more than half of the people living in the United States that CBS, NBC and ABC are no longer credible news organizations. Neither is CNN or MSNBC, or any of the before mentioned, when it comes to politics, and the real truth that the public is entitled to know about. These news agencies hardly ever tell accurate stories, much less the whole story about the news that they should be reporting about. They speak in half truths, or fail to report what they should about many of the subjects that they talk about, or fail to talk about, when they should. And though Fox news gets their story wrong on occasion, the facts are that they are currently the only TV news organization that tells both sides of the story in any sort of an unbiased, non racist, and truthful way. That’s honest journalism. I know because I’ve written thousands of honest articles during my life. I know what honest and unbiased news reporting is. You’re either honest, or you aren’t. There never will be any in-between’s. Fox news is not racist. But those people who consistently say that Fox News is, are indeed the real racists, and/or trouble makers, who are looking for every excuse that they can to push their own biased agendas. And yes, that blond haired bimbo does sound racist to me. Is she racist in real life? She may be. I certainly don’t like her. I think she’s stupid for what she’s done! But for you to reference Fox News here in this forum shows what kind of idiot you are. It also tells me a story about the strength of your knowledge base. You have none. Instead you believe the propaganda and lies that CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, HBO, and other idiots reference with their limited and/or low ranges of knowledge, or their own bias that they bring forth to the viewing, listening or reading public. Unfortunately, part of the John Doe public, with limited knowledge, is being lead as though it no longer has the common sense that it was born with. If you think for one minute that Fox News would give any racist a-hole in that house a job after they get off that show, you are really stupid. If anything I would imagine that they would interview her, and tear apart her racist comments, which do indeed deserve to be ridiculed by anyone with common sense. Do you have common sense? Or do you repeat the same BS that other people with limited knowledge present you with over and over again?
Ronnie,
I didn’t say that I agreed with the concept. Only that it was interesting. Please learn to read. And I never said that I watch CBS, NBC, FOXNEWS, CNN, MSNBC, HBO or whatever. So that makes you just as bad as what you are accusing me of. Do you have any comment sense to read with your limited knowledge?
My feelings are kinda mixed. There is a part of me that does not want to continue with watching these spoiled brats (Aryn). Big Brother does not want to make waves, but the players DO have some bad repercussions now that they did not expect to have. To keep them there on TV where they could get themselves deeper in doo doo is a mistake. I know they are adults, but they are absolutely not grown up. Look at Aryn last night swearing that she didn’t make any racist remarks yet she did make a half-hearted apology to Candice. She only stands to put her foot in her mouth yet again and she will only be in more trouble. And then there is the issue of her making the money. Noone in America wants to see her win anything. I don’t think America should have the job of hearing anymore of her crummy comments. Plus she probably is not being paid while she is in there and when she comes out not having a job is not going to be good! I think you lose her and Gina Marie.
These “people” should NOT be rewarded for this behavior. They should be removed from the game, they should not be allowed a chance to win a single penny of the money. How could bb allow these people to come into this game? I thought the screening process was better than this. BB and CBS may not condone this behavior but they are allowing it to continue. As the saying goes: If you don’t like what you see, then change the channel. Guess I will have to change the channel because I am not going to watch foul-mouthed, hateful, small-minded “people” downgrade and abuse others!!
I am appalled that BB and CBS would allow this behavior.
If something is not done I may no longer be a fan.
Unless some idiot decides to take an unpleasant person with them to the end. We need to vote MVP to the person most dedicated to getting Aaryn and GM OUT. I’m starting my lobby now to make the MVP more meaningful this next week! If we vote someone other than Elissa (which I voted for the first 2 weeks), then the house guests will know we’re watching and we approve of that person’s game play!!
BP, you are totally out of line with your last statement! To say that FOXNEWS is racist!?!? Google Nancy Grace’s the other night on CNN, they didn’t even censor it!!!! she said the phrase F-ing coon!! I watch Fox News, I am a Republican and I detest racism!!! To make this a Democrat/Republican issue is ignorant!!!! Do your homework! The Democrats in the 60’s were the ones supporting division between the races in the deep south. The NRA, Republicans (Martin Luther King), and other right wing organizations were the ones responsible for the civil rights movement!!! Funny how these simple facts are lost in society today. Those who forget the tragedies of the past are doomed to relive them!!!!!!!
i wonder if aaryn will tell julie to go cook some rice. oh how i hope julie asks her why she said that.
What is it with BT and BP, talk about racist?? read there posts, BT is saying that just because one is from Texas, that they will throw her a parade!! THAT IS RACISM!!! you both are JUST as guilty as these people on the show!!! BP here is the history of the Political parties and racism, READ IT!…

#17 got cut off, the answer is B. Democrats.
I think they should stay. I think the viewers will be so sick of them that they will want to disassociate with them IRL. Mom’s and Dad’s should speak out against them like Candice’s mom did. I don’t think this needs to get all political and accuse CBS of being racial because they are allowing it to go on with the LIVE FEEDS. Separation of Hollywood and State. It’s a tv reality show. If you’re offended don’t continue to watch the Live Feed because that is where it will be. Julie Chen hates it and so does her panel on CBS on her show, “The Talk.” It’s been a topic there for quite awhile now. They didn’t get away with the racial slurs, they have already been punished by one group and Dave (surfer boy) is just happy to be back in the ocean with mermaids singing his praises. Aaryn is a fleeting memory for him!
I can’t stand Aaron and Gina Marie! Let them stay in there and get blind sided by the good people! I would love to see there reactions when they find out they got fired! I hope that they lost family and friends over this! When you dish it out, you better be able to handle it when it comes back at you!
CBS…just saying…if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
Both Aaryn and Gina have been fired from their jobs. They just don’t know it yet!!!! I would love for the BB producers to inform them of that in front of the entire house!!!
I really hope that Julie confronts Aaryn and tells her on live television that she has been fired for her racist comments. I would LOVE to see her face. I find it interesting that none of her family or friends have come forward to say that isn’t how she is in real life.

Aaryn is a fleeting memory for him! Sorry that the other comment went under that forever long poll of politics.
I feel they should stay in the house. The numbers are turned and they should experience the uncomfortableness in the house, even though it’s only a fraction and does not compare to what they did and said. They will have hell to pay when they come out the house. I almost feel sorry for them because they are young and foolish. ALMOST!
As a African American woman and long time Big Brother fan, I was deeply offended by the comments made by some of the contestants on the show. The show that aired on July 14, really upset and offended me. I felt the pain and humilation that Candice surely felt after finding her bed thrown to the floor. How disrectful! To add insult to injury Aaryn mocked her with some Ghetto speaking insults. Then, GinaMarie gets right up in Candice’s face and very threating. Racism is not part of game play on Big Brother. This has ruined this season for me.
Jennifer-
As a caucasian women I too am offended by everything that these means girls are saying and doing. I can only imagine how you must feel. Women should stand together regardless of race or religion. I have sent messages to CBS to tell them how disgusting I think their behavior is and that they should be removed immediately. If we don’t all stand together, we will eventually all stand alone. I know that prejudice exists in all forms, but women need to find their voice and stand up for what they feel is wrong in this world. Candice and Howard are amazing people and so beautiful on both the inside and outside. Just by your comments I can sense that you too have compassion for others and will always make a difference to those you meet.
Jennifer, I am sincerely sorry for your discomfort. I’m white, and I haven’t experienced racism directed toward me. But I still say that – just like we want to see good triumph over evil in the movies – I am cheering for Howard and Candice. They are first class individuals and examples to all of us for how to react to ANY adversity. Even more than Aaryn losing her job, I’m excited to see what good things might happen to Candice and Howard as a result of their great character. I am also gratified by the overwhelming number of BB fans who are supporting Howard and Candice and despite Aaryn. We should REALLY worry if Aaryn were popular with viewers!!!
well, I know that everyone felt that pain, minority or not. However, Howard did more for race relations in 5 minutes of TV than anyone else ever has! He showed what class and substance is all about. He and Candice both showed so much grace and class even though they were hurting. I am just so happy to know that Howard is a youth counselor, we need men like him to be role models!
Amen to that!
One more thought: Some times the ugliest things in life bear the fruit of blessings. What I mean is, aside from being amazing by the character and class of Howard and Candice, I’m also proud of the other house guests for surrounding them with kindness. And for the BB audience rising up unanimously in anger against the bad guys. These are heart-warming facts to me. To control the house guests’ behavior would rob the good people from becoming BETTER people.
Jeremy says he is Cheroke Indian so why does he associate with these haters? As a minority himself he should be more understanding of what is being said. He needs to be a man and stand up for what’s right. Howard has a heart of gold. No amount of money will ever make him “richer”. But I hope he wins!!!
I feel one thing BB needs to change for future shows is the looks and age group of these house guests! Seems if you are not beautiful only on the outside and in your 20’s you will not make it on BB. I would love to see a show with all walks of people 40’s 50’s 60’s get some real people on the show that watchers can actually relate too!! I’m sick of watching muscle bound conceited 20 year olds showmance BS every year..its old already BB..
Absolutely!!
totally agree
Agree totally!
Not sure if they should be kicked off, but I think they should be made known (as a “twist” to the show), that America is not happy & is disgusted about the comments. Then some kind of “penalty” or “disadvantage” given to them in a cometition. Possibly replace them with your casting alternates – (another twist)to the game! Replace one of them with Richard Turenne from MN., he will clean it up with the “Merry Maids” alliance! (GET IT?!)
Honestly, I would be shocked if there weren’t an “Aaryn” clause (though I will never know) added to the BB contracts in the future that gives BB the authority to reprimand or punish HGs in some way for such behavior.
LOL..well Aaryn i’m sure thought she would be famous after her stint on BB. So it would be only fitting that she gets the honor of making BB add an addendum to their contract. And it will be named after her!…The ASS Addendum!
An even better name for the addendum!
LMAO that was great Cat!
Leave them in the house. Those who are worried one of them may win, do not worry. They will leave very soon. This is a reality show and they are showing their true selves no matter how disgusting they look. Let the real world deal with them!
The demograph of the HG does not correlate to the real world. These folks are handpicked from a pool of folks. This group has more narcissistic inclinations than any sampling I have ever seen.
Agreed. I admit even I wouldn’t watch a house full of people like me (over 50, slightly overweight and out of energy!), but a LITTLE diversity would be nice! This house was not only full of young brats, but obviously several of them were used to be the “popular” kids in high school, talking down to people and using others, and everything was about them and their comfort. Shallow and despicable.
I just wish they would of put a couple more people like Amanda in there to offset and confront the bullies.
I’m liking Amanda more and more every day! Unless something changes (like she starts talking about keeping Aaryn), she’s my MVP vote for next week. Let’s REWARD her good game play!!
Amanda is sometimes good when she confronts someone acting badly…but she is bad sometimes when things are calm and she stirs things up, just to wind folks up. I think BB chose her to stimulate circumstances to run the shows ratings…remember her monologue as an airline stewardess in the have-not room the first night? Who has that routine all ready to draw viewers unless the producers had her prepare some cute dialogue prior to BB house entry? At least that’s IMHO.
They don’t have to be kicked off, the house will kick them out one by one. However, according to the rules, and by house guests who were kicked out of previous seasons, Gina Marie should be kicked out for jumping in Candice’s face trying to start a fight (like Willie) and Aaryn for flipping the bed over (like the chick who through her mic). Just sayin’ – I think the producers are getting too much publicity for the haters, that they want to keep them in.
I would love for the house to say this thursday has a twist and have a double eviction.
Yesssss!
they should be kicked out….because you say this is reality t.v.but we know they would not be in the work place or pulbic talking like that…they feel safe in the b.b.house they wont people to lose their temper get stupid and get kicked out………..
Time to pull the plug on BB15
