Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Donny – Beard or No Beard? (POLL)
|I posted an interview on our Facebook page of an interview CBS did with Donny Thompson’s girlfriend and it was a great read, but we also saw Donny without that signature big beard he is sporting on Big Brother 2014! So, I want to know what everyone thinks: Donny – beard or no beard? Vote in our Big Brother 16 poll below and make some Big Brother 2014 spoilers of our own!
So, here is a link to the interview with Donny’s girlfriend, Kristine. She is a lovely lady and they both seem like such real people, which I think is his appeal. With the interview, CBS posted this picture of the happy couple together:

So, we got a lot of buzz saying Donny looks so much better without the long beard and the goatee works for him. I would totally agree and it makes him look so much younger! So, why the big, bushy beard? Was it a ploy by Donny or an attempt to look like the Duck Dynasty guys?
Either way, vote here on which Donny you like better:

He looks younger with out it!
OMG! I said the exact same thing!
Maybe he thinks it will fool them into thinking he’s just a dumb, ole country boy! Little does Donny know that they have already seen through his subterfuge and have figured out he went to Harvard and then became a professor and a Navy Seal! (at the same time, of course!) 😉
Totally agree, Tessa. I’m not sure if he made that calculated decision, but it definitely has affected the hgs (and out) impression of him.
Definitely looks better without it. But i can understand why he would grow it. Most guys at some point in their life like to see if they can. Sort of as an experiment. I’m thinking he may not keep it for long once he reads all the comments about it. But then he’s not a vain person. At this point in time i’m glad he has it. It catches all the Derrick Dust before it’s allowed to spread. 🙂 🙂
Derrick Dust, LOL!
Hmmm….I guess I am a zero. Just liked your comment and it posted my name but still left the “0” on the count. Hmm…I think that calls for a Yasso Salted Caramel Greek Yogurt frozen bar! (Heaven on a stick!) I have told so many people about Yasso that I need to write them and ask for a commission check, LOL!
Lol…frozen yogurt is like fake ice cream. Sort of like Derricks “fake” sincerity…..Looks good on the outside but is still not the real thing 🙂
Cat, this brand is special–I bet you would like them. The salted caramel is to die for and they also have wonderful chocolate fudge as well as fruit flavors.
Oh, LOL at the Derrick remark as well as your “Derrick Dust.”
Anything that’s chocolate can’t be all bad 🙂
I love frozen greek yogurt! I Googled these and I will definitely be trying them!
Todd, I hope you love them and I bet you will! My favs are the salted caramel and the strawberry but all the flavors are wonderful. Our local Wallyworld has them and so does HEB–but then you folks outside of Texas aren’t lucky enough to have our wonderful HEB and Central Market stores!
Salted Caramel sounds amazing!
It is and I am enjoying one right now! Wish we could send stuff through the computer!
Yum! I love Caramel 🙂
I think there have been a few problems today, I couldn’t get on here at all today until just a while ago. I love frozen yogurt, do they have one of these places in Toronto, Canada?
Not sure Mary….Carol said something, but have seen a lot of comments today.
That’s good, looks like I was the only one having trouble getting here today. Cat was a wonderful help.
Good morning all. I do not get the post unless wonderful Cat sends them to me. I hope you each have a great day.
Hi, Mary! Glad you are back! I don’t know if this brand is available in Canada or not. You might want to show your grocer Yasso’s website.
HEB is a Texas institution which actually started just a few miles from where I am–began with a little general store back in the day and spread all over the state and now into Mexico! I discovered HEB when I was in grad school in Austin and fell in love with their wonderful produce, etc. and their fantastic customer service. Several years ago, they started HEB Central Market which is geared more toward organic foods, artisan cheeses, etc. etc.–a little upscale and “yuppie” but they still let me in! Aren’t you glad you this lesson in Texas business?? 😉
Thanks Tessa, I’ll be sure to ask my grocer 🙂
Have you tried Talenti Gelato? It is AMAZING. They have a seat salt or salted caramel flavor and it is amazing!!
Oh, that does sound tempting! But it probably has more carbs than I like to eat. That is another reason I like the Yasso–the carb count is pretty reasonable. But I will definitely check to see if that gelato is available here.
I’m just checking, is this still the most recent site?
He looks really good without it, which from the beginning I thought he would. If he had a different voice I would probably be head over heels for him, but I like nice voice. 🙂
He looks so much more handsome without the beard, no doubt. But, his personality goes with the beard. If he didn’t have the beard, without it, he doesn’t give the impression of old fashioned wisdom. The beard is a good move.
