While tonight’s episode of Big Brother 2015 might be on the more slower side of things, at least we have OTEV making a return for tonight’s Power of Veto competition on Big Brother 17! It sounds like the HGs will be running to find dolls to sacrifice to OTEV in an attempt to win the POV on Big Brother 17! Big Brother 2015 Spoilers - Episode 25 Recap

Last time on Big Brother 17, we got to see the new HOH competition for Week 8, which had the HGs looking at emojis and answering questions. It was a REAL brainteaser, as Liz won. She was probably one of the last ones I wanted to win this competition, but it happened. From there, the Austwins set their plans in motion and the nominations were in place: John and Becky. Nothing really swayed this from going one way or another, as they seemed to know on Thursday night what they were going to do.

Here we go…back to after the Nomination Ceremony and Becky said if a train can’t stop her then these HGs can’t! Vanessa tries to smooth things over with Johnny Mac, but he just wants to nap and she is his only enemy now! Now the Austwins say that JMac is giving them attitude and angry and alone and he may go home now and upset that he hasn’t come to them for a deal. Steve tries to talk to them to smooth things over.

Now we see JMac go to HOH and talk with Liz and Austin about Vanessa and he is throwing Vanessa under the bus and they seem to be buying it. JMac wants Van gone and this will keep him safe for the week. JMac said it best: whoever gets her (Vanessa) eviction is gold! So, why wouldn’t Liz do it???

Picking Veto Players – After more pranks from James for Julia, the HGs pick Veto players. Liz picks HG Choice and chooses Austin. John picks Meg. Becky picks Steve. Julia is upset that she never gets picked!

So, John tells Austin that he will throw it to him and he trusts them. Austin likes this info, as he brings it to the twins and then pukes up tuna fish. Then John is telling Becky that he is throwing it and the only way both of them are staying is if she wins it, but she said she is a one-hit wonder!

VETO COMPETITION – It is time for OTEV and it is a rockin’ roll. There is food everywhere in the backyard and he will sing a song about an evicted HG. Slide down the ramp and find the stick of butter with that person’s name on it. Last player to bring the butter or bring the wrong butter and they are eliminated. Last one standing wins POV for Week 8 on Big Brother 2015.

  • ROUND 1 – It was a clue for Jason and John is eliminated (he did throw it)
  • ROUND 2 – First to go in the DE, so it is Shelli. Steve is out this round, as he wants to keep his comp win total down and not be a threat (don’t worry Steve, you aren’t a threat to anyone). Also, meg took a huge fall on the ramp and that looked like it hurt!
  • ROUND 3 – It is for Clay and Becky just steals some from Austin, as she ain’t afraid of the beast! However, she is the last one up there and has been eliminated.
  • ROUND 4 – Second person evicted and it is Da’Vonne. Meg is eliminated this round.
  • FINAL ROUND – It is Liz versus Austin. It is for Jace, as his face was erased from the Memory Wall. Liz gets it right and she wins POV and has all the power this week!

Now we are going to play up the “backdoor Vanessa” plan. Vanessa getting paranoid and talking game to Austin and Liz. All this talk and Liz and Austin plan to let someone else evict Vanessa. I will NEVER understand this move.

I love this, as they show Liz with the hickey from Austin. Julia is PISSED and she said he gets tuna stuck in his beard, which was right there touching her face and neck. Then she said he is not the guy you bring home to dad and if he does it again then she is coming after him with a bat!

Vanessa plays the victim and brings on the tears, as she tells Steve she feels all alone. Liz comes over and she said she is all alone and she feels distance from Austin. Yeah, in DR Liz talks about putting her on the block and then crying in jury and leaving her one more week in this house then she’d come after Austin and take him out.

VETO MEETING – Despite what CBS made us think tonight, there was never any consideration of Liz using this today. Becky talks about being HOH last week and none of Austwins being on the block. John said the blue couches are more comfortable. Liz said they both are strong competitors and the one eliminated will be coming back from jury, so she does not use it and the nominees stay the same.
