Big Brother 2015 Spoilers: BB17 Premiere Power Rankings
|4. Audrey Middleton
The first transgendered HG on Big Brother. Because of that and her telling her story, I think she will be liked by the other HGs and that can take her far in the game. She also seemed very intense and eye-on-the-prize during her interview, so I think that could help her this summer.
5. James Huling
I am think Asian Donny is going to be liked by everyone in the house and in America. People won’t want to vote him out of the house, which will take him far enough in the game, but not to the Big Brother 17 finale because they all know they’d lose to him.
6. Steve Moses
We have our Ian Terry here, as he seems to know the game very well and he is a very intelligent guy. I am not sure about his social game though, as he doesn’t smoke or drink and that could paint him as an outcast, as the other HGs are getting drunk together and bonding. I think he’ll go further, but that intelligence will bite him in the end.

WOW Todd, you put a lot of time and effort into your thoughts about each hg. I haven’t had the chance to read them all yet but I just wanted to thank you, this is a lot of work and it’s so appreciated.
Thanks ALOT for this, Todd.
I have a question for you (if by some miracle you have time) or Cat or someone who actually WATCHED all the interviews (I’ve only seen some snippets, I confess):
Do you have a sense of the level of BB fandom exists with each person? I mean, you mentioned Steve as the superfan, and Clay as the superfan-wannabe. But did ALL the others have to address that at some point in their interviews? If so, could you rank them based on your sense of their true knowledge of the game? (No need to write a whole new post; I’m just curious how many of these 14 are “recruits” or barely more than that.)
Let’s see! They all seemed to say they were superfans, but how many of them actually are? I’ll group them from what I remember:
Superfans – Audrey, Da’Vonne, Steve, Jason, Becky
Recruits – Liz, Jace, Meg, Clay, Shelli
Not Sure – John, James, Vanessa, Austin
I may be wrong on some of these, but I think Becky mentioned being a superfan and being believable. The other four were for sure. I don’t fully remember on the Not Sure people, so maybe Cat can help with that?
Wow, thanks, Todd!! I welcome input from ANY others who watched the interviews!
I think James and Vanessa were recruits. John not. And i seriously don’t remember what Austin said. I only know that he travels in the same circles as Jesse. Which may or may not mean anything. But i think it does.
Time to type up a spread sheet…………………!
I’m more hesitant about Vanessa than you are Todd. It could go either way with her. I think it depends on if she tells them. I was reading this morning that Twitter is all a tweet about Vanessa owning a million dollar home. And of course, some thought that disqualified her immediately as a fan favorite or worthy. You don’t have to be on unemployment to win this game. Just smart. Sheesh!
And Steve just might be the smart one for not drinking. He doesn’t really have to tell them that. The others would probably be happy that it’s just more for them! And you can keep your head while all about you lose theirs. Brownie points.
Shelli i agree with you on. I just hope she doesn’t use “The Crying Mom” card. Not a fan.
Just as a side note – I’m saying the word ditto only once (right now!) but consider it ad infinitum and applying to my next statement
…..Liz put the ta tas away.
Hahaha! BTW, I did make myself a brief spreadsheet. I am just interested to see how our initial thoughts compare later on.
I’m sure our thoughts will change. Mine has changed since yesterday …and the day before…
Also, throwing 2 more people into the mix will change everything. Until all personalities are front and center, i plead the fifth. 🙂
Oh, I promise not to hold you all to anything just yet! My sheet just lists them in order of Todd’s ranking, with some one-word observations by me (and you all) to keep them separate in my mind. I’ve also listed ages and hometowns. Only included occupation where it is significantly identifying (like poker dealer and dentist). And I have a column with “recruit” or “superfan” (or “wannabe”). This should help me keep things straight so I can shoot my mouth off tomorrow morning!
Ha! That post sounds like it comes from a BB Superfan. You are aren’t you (said accusingly)? Admit it!…This is the hill we will die on. Notice i said we 🙂
I have always distinguished myself from being a “BB Superfan” because – unlike you and many other diehard fans who will always come back until the show is canceled – I’d have given up on BB last year if not for this website. It is by a sheer cup-half-full outlook on life that I approached the last two seasons with hope that some of the show I grew to love would return – only to have the powers that be at BB and CBS flip me the middle finger over … and over … and over again.
So I’m a BB fan who is very, very stubborn. And I’m addicted to this website and the commenters here. I defer to BigBrotherCat as the resident Superfan in this group (… said with sincere respect)!!
**tissue please**
I would say I am a fan of the show but not a “Superfan”. I have been watching the show religiously since season 3. I have never missed a season or episode since. I’ve got a horrible long term memory and would never win in a “Super Fan Quiz” vs Cat or Todd! But I will never stop watching until the show is over, which is inevitable, but I will miss it very much when its gone. BB is a great summer tradition 🙂
