- I would love to know how much “in put” production actually has. If you watch Live Feeds, the HGs whisper about things that Production has said to them. It may be suggestions or hints of how to vote or who to get ride of, but still I don’t think they have always done this. it really changes up the game. I just wish they were left alone to figure things out for themselves. This is why they don’t want HGs to ‘talk about Production” or they go to fish. Something or someone has changed this game in the last few years and it has not been for the good of the game. Production, please go back and look at the first years of this show and bring back some of the rules, competitions, and also, give America the opportunity to vote for something besides weird food for the houseguests. We know every year what to expect: a hunk, a blonde or two, nerd,…….etc…..etc………………………..
- Boring season..how about A Big Brother show featuring relatives…
- I still think America should vote the house quest on the block off. Do away with the power of veto… Stop the two HOH’s in the beginning shows. Bring back Pandora’s box. I liked when you would wake them up in the middle of the night. I also liked when America voted what to feed the have nots…just my opinion
- I really wish who ever is in charge of picking the house guests would pick actual genuine people who truly NEED the money… Seeing a bunch of snobs that would waist it in a year is very frustrating.
- I think the next BB should be exes and their replacement. For example, my ex and my husband or vice versa. Talk about fireworks!!

Not sure if you all will like this one, but this is what I deal with! I have posted on Facebook before and found two of the writers this season (Mattie and Janelle). However, they took it different this time around and thought I would combine them into one post as the Superfan.
Expect the unexpected!
One of those comments stood out to me. The one that asks “With all the complaints, isn’t anyone afraid of it being taken off the air”. I’d respond with a resounding NO! Complaining is a staple of each season. Which infers that we are watching. And continue to watch despite our objections to certain things/hgs. It’s the love/hate relationship we have with the show/hgs that keep fueling the chat rooms and blogs. Put 16 people in the house that we all love and we’d have to rename it “Friends”. Every hero needs an adversary. What would Batman do to save Gotham City if there were no bad guys? He’d be just another nutball in a cape.
Perfectly fine, Todd, thanks! Just goes to show most people (who post, that is) are frustrated. In fact, when you think about it, it’s the frustration or excitement or even anger that makes most of us stop reading and decide to comment. I myself got involved here during the controversies of BB15. People who are happy don’t seek out a BB post to find like-minded and console each other! (I myself look up the real BB Facebook page and let ’em have it!)
This was a great idea,even though it’s not what you originally had planned. You could, perhaps, teach CBS how to adapt to hew possibilities to prevent BB from being as bad as it has the last couple of years. I especially like many of the suggestions. Basically, I think the consensus was that it has become two predictable and the suggestions would give us back the excitement and mystery we once loved. Thanks Todd, for adapting on the fly.
Sorry for missing your Facebook post Todd, I only go on there to see my family and friends. Never worry dear Todd, everything you do is great in my book and I this is no exception.

I think it funny that for the last 5 seasons or so the same complaints keep coming up just with different houseguest attached to them on every site. (Not that I would read other sites but yours Todd, I just hear it that it seems that way). It boils down to each person has a favorite houseguest or side of the house when it does not go well for the favorite or that side of the house “it is the worst season ever” Production has always interfered. There is too much money at stake not to. Yes in the past few years there is the same script – the hunk, the model / bartender, the country girl the red neck the geek and so on At least they are picking from across the country and getting a sample. At the end of the day I always say I am done watching but I always do watch just to see the train wreck because my favorite or side of the house is underperforming, underplaying or JUST PLAIN STUPID. I read and participate here on this site because I love the comments and in general have the same viewpoint as to houseguest as most on this site. My favorite part of the BB season is reading these posts and getting a laugh in on a long day.
As for this season My only hope is John and Steve kick butt for the next few weeks and are the final two (see attached).
Love it … nice summation … thank you. I, too, love this site — Todd and all who come here seem like we sort of belong somehow or are on the same team. Even when opinions differ, we stick together with respect.

Me too! I never thought I would say that about Steve but I am holding out hope that he really has finally decided to break with Vanessa.
Agree with BLKG about the picture–so adorable! My older cat is the same color as the little guy with his paw over the other and he is definitely a love-bug, too!
The twits are on to Vanessa, but I am sure they will do nothing about it.
Yeah, Liz wants to stay now and they are going to try and use it to their advantage. If Vanessa lies, then they go to John to out her. Not sure what that would matter. So, they tell John. What would keeping Liz over Julia help him? They are idiots.
That mini-brain they have been sharing all game is on its last legs.
This was very interesting to read and see that so many other folks agree with the same thoughts that have been posted here.
As I have said before, I haven’t been watching BB from the beginning and only started watching it faithfully when I found your blog but even I am tired of the same old same old. Wish they would mix up the ages more and develop some new comps, etc. And let’s have some really “unexpected” twists–enough “lameness!”
Now Liz wants to stay and Julia is okay with going home. The twins decide and think it will happen or they will out all Vanessa’s F2 deals to John. I just don’t get this one, as what does that matter to John? Vanessa is staying this week and the twins have no vote. It looks like Vanessa is saying she is on board with this (keeping Liz), but I am not buying it.
I’m not buying it either. The wheels in Vanessa’s head are turning at warp speed. She needs justification for voting Liz out. And she will find it.
I posted her demands just now….none of this makes sense to me lol
Vanessa gives her three stipulations on keeping Liz over Julia to Liz and Austin:
1 – Don’t put her up next week
2 – Let her decide between John or Steve going home
3 – F2 with either of them, if they are split up before F3
She also said they have to give their word on something very, very meaningful that they will stick to their word. They are thinking it over now, but Chinese food came and now Jeff Loops.
I’d promise her the moon. And at least half the stars. Then inform Steve and Jmac of her shennanigans (although they already suspect). Promise them safety if they win HOH and backdoor the bit*ch.
Right before all of this, she went to John and said they have to get Liz out. So, how will she justify to them of wanting to keep Liz now. The Chinese food got her mind thinking differently?
She’s painted herself into a corner. I wonder what her fortune cookie said?
That is perfect! That is what told her to do it. It serves her no purpose to keep Liz and it served her no purpose to talk about this possible deal. Who cares what the twins want. They don’t vote. Campaign, but don’t tell us who you want to stay and who you want to go home.
If John and Vanessa vote to evict Liz, it will throw Austin and Julia for a loop. Especially Austin. So she ups her (or Johns) chances of winning HOH due to their shock and distress. Then she tells Austin (and Julia) that Liz was holding him back from winning. His ego will let him believe that. And he will go on believing it until Julie shows him his goodbye messages. There’s method to Vanessa’s madness.
Yeah, which is why Julia should have been evicted last week! Liz would have been a mess during DE and it could have been a whole different outcome!

Ha! The only thing i would say to her during the nomination ceremony is – “Tell James hello for me next week when you see him”. And hand her a tissue. A used one.

Austin and John can control the vote or Austin and Vanessa can control the vote. They know by now that John truly doesn’t care and will follow their wishes so why would they make a deal with Vanessa? Why would Vanessa think this was a deal making time? She’s starting to crack.
Okay. I’m trying to watch BBAD, but I’ve had enough of Austin and the “Thank You” and the “Ticket” thing. I swore if he said again, I’m done for tonight. It’s not enough we have to hear it from the twins. Annoying-uh! Good-night, annoyances! I’m for John and Steve all the way!
