It is Eviction Day inside the Big Brother 23 house and tonight we will watch as either Travis or Alyssa is evicted live tonight! There has been a lot going on inside the house this week and both of these houseguests were promised early on that they were safe. So which one will we say goodbye to tonight on Big Brother? Let’s recap the week of Big Brother 2021 and you can vote in my eviction poll to let me know who you think it will be!

We started Week 1 of Big Brother 23 off with a twist where the HGs had to compete in groups of four as they entered the Big Brother house for the first time. The winner from each of these groups went on to be team captains and they then picked three other teammates to join them based on quick video clips. The team captains were Frenchie, Whitney, Claire, and Christian.

After this, the teams went on to play in the first HOH competition of the year. The teammates had to hold a platform while their captains built a house of cards on top of it. If the house of cards fell, the captain had to start all over. The captain of the team who completed this the fastest went on to be the HOH for week one and the team that came in last was made the Have-Nots for the week. Frenchie and his team won and Christian and his team came in last.

Frenchie’s plan this week started off with wanting to nominate Brent, but after a talk with him, he changed his mind and decided to target Christian. What Frenchie wasn’t expecting was the Wildcard Comp which would give at least one HG safety for the week. Each team, minus Frenchie’s, picked one person to compete in this comp. Kyland and Christian were picked for their team and then Hannah got picked by random draw because their team couldn’t choose who would play. Christian went on to win this competition and he earned safety for himself and one of his teammates (he chose Xavier).

Now that Christian was off the table, Frenchie ended up nominating Alyssa and Kyland, who were both told earlier in the week that they were not going on the block. Frenchie realized quickly that he was targeting Alyssa based on information that wasn’t accurate so he decided to make Derek X his new target since that’s where most of the information was coming from.

Frenchie, Alyssa, and Kyland along with Tiffany, Derek X, and Travis for the Power of Veto competition. Derek X won which took him off the list of possible renoms so Frenchie was forced to go back on his word and target Travis instead which brings us to where we are now.
