We have confirmation on an All-Star season of Big Brother coming to us this year. CBS’s Big Brother has also confirmed the start date for this season of Big Brother 2020! Are you ready to find out when we will have Big Brother back on our television screens? Keep reading to find out!

Now that Big Brother All-Stars has been confirmed, the other bit of information that has been speculated is the start date for the season. Big Brother has confirmed on their Facebook page that the start date for BB22 is August 5th! That is less than 2 weeks away!

In an article posted to CBS.com, it says that Big Brother 22 will begin on August 5th “with an all-star cast that has one thing in common: something to prove!”

The premiere is set for Wednesday, August 5th and it will be a two-hour live move-in event. It has been 14 years since we have seen an All-Star season and this has been something that the fans have been asking for. Are you excited about an all-star season?

With the Covid-19 pandemic still a major issue in our country, there have been guidelines put in place to make sure that the HGs and the production staff stay safe and healthy throughout the season. Here is what was outlined in the article linked above:

  1. Houseguests will undergo a quarantine period prior to production and will be tested several times prior to entering the house.
  2. They will be tested weekly during the season and have no contact with any crew members, and all supplies delivered will be disinfected.
  3. The live show will not have a studio audience.
  4. All staff and crew members will be tested prior to commencing work on a regular basis, as well as screened daily for symptoms.

After the premiere airs at 9 PM EST on August 5th, the episodes will continue to air every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 8 PM EST on CBS.
