We have officially started Week 5 inside the Big Brother house with a new Head of Household in charge and now their nominations in place. There is a clear target this week on Big Brother 23, but the HOH is keeping that information to themselves as of now because there is still a Power of Veto comp to be played. Find out who the HOH wants to see go this week and what the plan is to get it done right here with our Big Brother spoilers!

Derek X is our Head of Household for the week and he very much realizes that this is an individual game now and has decided that he wants to take a shot this week. He isn’t just taking any shot, he is taking a shot at a fellow Royal Flush member.

DX’s target this week is Christian, but he wants to backdoor him instead of handing him the opportunity to compete in the Power of Veto. This makes a lot of sense for DX since Christian has a lot of allies inside the Big Brother house. With that being said, picking the pawns this week is going to be crucial in making this plan happen.

There have been talks about using Britini and Derek F or Britini and Sara Beth as pawns in this situation, but he was having a hard time figuring out which one would cause less backlash for him going into next week. Here is what DX decided to do:

The Nominations for Week 5 of Big Brother 23 are:

  • Britini
  • Sarah Beth

He did talk to Britini earlier in the day and explained to her that there is an opportunity for the POV to be used. When she asked him if there was a BD plan, DX told her he would rather not answer that. She has a feeling that’s the ultimate goal, but she also told Christian that if she was off the block and won the POV, she wouldn’t use it knowing that he could be the backdoor option. With her on the block, if she wins the POV, she has no choice but to use it putting Christian in jeopardy.

As far as Sarah Beth, DX went back and forth between whether or not DF or SB would be the best option for him this week. He did make a deal with DF earlier in the day today asking if he would help DX with his vote next week if he ended up a target.
