As we all know, Tiffany won this week’s Head of Household competition for Week 9 of Big Brother 23 and she nominated Alyssa and Xavier for eviction. Now that the Veto Competition has been played, it is time for the Veto Ceremony to take place and for the final nominations to be locked in on Big Brother 2021. If you have missed out on any of the Big Brother spoilers so far, make sure you get all caught up. Otherwise, read on to find out what happened at this week’s Veto Ceremony!

Tiffany, Alyssa, and Xavier were joined by Hannah, Azah, and Derek in this week’s Power of Veto. Going into this competition, the only scenario Tiffany didn’t want to see play out was Alyssa winning and her having to renominate her closest ally, Claire. After the feeds came back up from this week’s Veto Comp, we saw Alyssa wearing the tiny Veto around her wrist on a bracelet. That’s when Tiffany realized that she probably shouldn’t have won this week’s Head of Household.

Last night on the Big Brother live feeds, Tiffany had a conversation with Claire about how much she would love to continue playing this game with her, but she had run out of options for renoms since she doesn’t want to be the reason that Xavier, Kyland, Derek, Azah, or Hannah go home this week.

This morning, in a last-ditch effort to try and save her ally, Tiffany talked to Claire and Kyland about trying to convince Alyssa to use the Veto on Xavier instead. She wanted to try and make it seem like if Xavier stayed on the block, there wouldn’t be enough votes to keep him because he is such a huge threat. This conversation didn’t happen on the live feeds before they cut for the Veto Ceremony, but we know what happened and whether or not Alyssa decided to use the Veto on herself or Xavier.

The Veto Ceremony Results for Week 9 of Big Brother are:

  • Alyssa used the veto on herself
  • Claire was nominated in her place
  • Xavier and Claire are final noms

Tiffany made her pitch to Alyssa, but Alyssa still used the veto on herself as we all thought she would and Claire went up next to Xavier. Claire will go to the Jury house on Thursday.
