Auditions should start being announced in early 2012, but for now you can start preparing yourself by watching last season to see what worked and what got HGs evicted! Hint: don’t randomly turn on your own alliance and get everyone evicted.

Last night was all that was good about this show. Human beings. *head shake* They always surprise you.

Whodathunk Shelly, of all people, would be the deciding vote?

I’d had a bad feeling in my gut all day that somehow Porshe would pull this off. I have never been happier to be wrong. (Thankfully, my inner fortune teller was on the fritz)

Rachel told it true last night. She fought from the day she walked in the door. She deserved that win!

Of course, the most entertaining part of the evening were the exchanges between Jeff and Dani and Dani and Dick. Dick called it –Daniele played too hard,too fast. For someone like her–who believed they were a superior player, getting a spanking from Daddy on national TV had to hurt. She tried to lash back, by telling Rachel–when she cast her vote for Porshe–”Rachel, you just oughta be glad this isn’t a personality contest.” Bitter grapes, anyone?

But even that probably didn’t sting as bad as when Julie announced who won America’s Favorite… hehehe..

All in all, the show ended on a much higher note than the last couple of weeks indicated. When the show was over, I felt like I do after a nice meal…..Satisfied.

Julie has already announced that Big Brother was picked up for another year.. YAY! I can only hope they’ll go back to their roots and give us some HG’s worthy of the game.

I am so honored that you chose to spend your Big Brother 2011 Season with me. It isn’t easy to be a Big Brother Fan-atic and report all their doings. Sometimes my poor family had to go hungry, while I muttered “Liar. Beeotch” at my computer screen. But it’s all worth it, if I enhanced…in any way… your Big Brother experience.

I hope you’ll join us again next year. Big Brother will be back, and so will I. God Bless.

I hate that too, because most of us wait with breathless anticipation for summer and our favorite show. Remember that shiver you felt the first time the Big Brother 2011 commercial hit the airwaves, back in the blue doldrums of July?

Tonight’s outcome is still less-than-certain, as we wait for the final HOH to be played, yet I have a bad feeling in my gut.

Should Rachel win? Of course she should. Regardless of your feelings about the fiery red-head, she’s the only one left who fought, struggled and played it hard and fast from day one.

Porshe, a ham sandwich for much of the game, only shook out her sleep wrinkles after week 9. And Adam placidly floated along, carried by the tide and Jeff’s team for the larger part of the season.

Yet, looking at the folks in the Jury house, we could see ham beat cheese to win the comp.

Who should take whom? That’s the only question left to be answered.

If Rachel wins, she’s promised to take Porshe. But from comments she made yesterday, it seems she is at least considering her options, and she HAS to know she has a much better chance for votes if she takes Adam.

Especially since Adam and her got into some kind of tiff, and he declared to Porshe that he’d never vote for Rachel to win. That even if Porshe kicks him out, he’ll still vote for her.  Uh.. Adam. that’s not really the best strategy ever, to tell her she’ll have your vote if she kicks you out. What would be her incentive to take you?

Porshe’s working with limited vision. She’s not a BB fan, so she doesn’t get the Jury mindset the way Rachel and Adam do. All she knows is that ‘People don’t like Rachel’ and therefore won’t vote for her. She’s not savvy enough in the way the game works to understand that most jury members vote for who played the game best, and not who they did or didn’t like.

Having said that, Porshe’s last-minute wins might be enough fuel to win her a vote or two from the Newbie side–Adam included–to take her to the top.

So,.,.basically what I’m saying is: we have no idea who’ll win tonight. We know who SHOULD win. But that means little in this crazy game.

Who do you think will pull it off? Not who you WANT to win. Who do you THINK will win?

And the BIG question of the night! Who will win America’s Favorite? What do you say?

As for the next season, I made a comment on an earlier post that I want to share here with you. For all us long-time fans, we ask…no, we BEG the BB powers that be to listen to what we…the fans want.

I want BB to really think next season through. Like I-and a million other fans–have screamed a thousand times before. Give us something NEW! Give us your fat. Your old. Your homely (just let them be SMART)! Give us married couples- slugging it out against other married couples. Give us REAL people. No more plastic Hollywood wannabe’s.
Switch up the rules. Switch up the games. Make us breathless with anticipation next year for each show to air.
Watching, as people slowly lose their humanity–or rise above it– in a closed, constitutional monarchy… THAT is what BB was created for!

On a personal note: I have enjoyed–so very, very much–spending time with you this season. I already said my goodbyes in an EARLIER POST, but I hope you’ll join us again next year for what we pray will be a dynamic and excitement-filled season!

OK- You can open them. *sigh* Back to reality, and I don’t think I have to tell you that there’s a decided lack of sparkling intellectual conversation to report. (I know.. shocker.)

Still, even though it looks like our Final two is a lock, Adam had to give it the old college try.. which he did yesterday at FLASHBACK 11:21am BBT.

Adam explained to Porshe that if she takes him, he will get up and tell the Jury to vote for her.  And if she doesn’t take him……well, then, he’s the deciding vote, isn’t he?? And he wouldn’t be super inclined to help her out.

Later, at FLASHBACK 12:24pm BBT, Porshe told Rachel about the conversation, embellishing it some, and explaining how Adam ‘threatened her’ and how she doesn’t wanna be around him any more.

Rachel blew it off, but she has to be thinking..hmm.. What IS my best option here, were I to win the final comp? She claims she’ll take Porshe, but the truth is, she has to know she has a better shot against Adam. I guess we’ll find that out on Finale night..

In other news, Porshe told Rachel last night at FLASHBACK 11:30pm BBT– that Janelle had nothing to do with her getting on the show. That she only gave her “productions” phone number, but she had to try out all by her little old self.

This, of course, is in stark contrast to her flippant bragging about Janelle’s hook-up, earlier in the season.

Do you think Rachel should take Adam or Porshe if she wins?

Will Adam succeed in getting inside Porshe’s  marshmallow and bedazzler brain?

AND DON’T FORGET…. With almost 20,000 votes, this poll is moving right along, so let us know who got your vote for America’s Choice. Looks like it’s a close call between Jeff and Jordan. I just wonder, with folks splitting their votes between them, if Daniele won’t sneak in and scoop this up…

If I hadn’t seen it for myself, I would never have believed it.. Yet, you must give her credit, I guess. Porshe pulled it off, though it is a difficult pill for hard-core BB fans to swallow, since most of the comps she won were AFTER the better, stronger players had been evicted.

That a HG who’s never watched the show–who was picked due to ‘connections’–and slept through battles, until other, stronger players fell on the battlefield. That a carrion crow-player might win????
Bitter Pill…

Especially since last night, when the HG’s discussed what they’d do next summer, Porshe smugly replied, “I’ll be back here for All-Stars.”  A winner?  Possibly. A star? I don’t think so.

It’s becoming more common, though, so we should be used to it. As much as I like Jordan as a person, the same thing basically happened that season as well, and in several other years. (As we all know—Our BB super-warriors tend to fall.)

Last night, after the girls celebrated, and told Adam they were going to take each other, Adam admitted defeat and told them he’d most likely vote for whomever wins the Part III comp.

Adam is the key vote, too. If we break it down, it will likely go like this:
Jordan—Rachel
Jeff——Rachel
Brendon–Rachel

Daniele—Porshe
Kalia—–Porshe
Shelly—-Porshe (cause she’s probably going to vote for whoever Dani tells her to vote for)

So, that leaves Adam as the swing vote. With his comment about voting for whoever wins the final comp, Rachel must win the Final comp, or…… well, you know.. Stay tuned to your LIVE FEEDS to see if Adam can possibly talk one of the girls around.

My dream is that next year, they’ll require IQ tests for the folks who try out, and throw out any applicants who score lower than 120–no matter WHAT they look like in a bikini! I would love to see a Big Brother where brains matter more than brawn.

Eww! What a nasty competition. Though for all us true-blue Big Brother 2011 fans, it was Big Brother at it’s best.

It was a beautifully simple competition of mind over matter–that anyone could win–as long as you faced down the inevitable pain, and ‘endeavored to persevere.’

Therefore, it should be no surprise that the Queen of BB12′s endurance comps, Rachel, rode that mixer without ever shedding a drop of sweat.

Adam dropped first. That was no surprise. Twenty minutes in, the big guy was sweating bullets and throwing the F word around like it was beads at Mardi Gras.

At the forty minute mark or so, Porshe was suffering. Does anyone remember the look on the dudes face on the old Pepto Commercial–with the little wavy red lines–while the announcer speaks of: “Upset Stomach, Constipation, Nausea and Diarrhea.”? Take a look.

Rachel, on the other hand.. stayed fresh as a daisy. I said before… This was her comp to win and she did it with ease.

Now comes Part II, and since we didn’t have Mash-Ups in the last POV, we’re bound to see a late-night Mash-Up comp as the second part. That’s anyone’s comp–though I’m certain that Rachel hopes Porshe wins it, as Adam can likely slam-bang the Part III question comp.

Who the final HOH winner should take with them is a trickier question, but we’ll talk about that later in the week. We’ve got PLENTY of time, since Sunday’s show is pre-empted, only the BBAD and Live FEED viewers will see our lonely trio until the Wednesday Finale show.

The house seems a little darker without Jordan in it.. And I have to say, she went out with the grace and dignity we expect from the little southern sweetie.

We’ll post again, when the Part Two comp happens, but in the meantime….

Who’s your Fave?? Now remember– If you’re a Dani fan, there’s nobody else to consider. BUT if you’re a JeJo fan, you must make a decision, so not to split the votes between Jeff and Jordan, and allow the Dani fans to overtake. I believe..of the two.. Jeff played a much stronger game. If I was choosing, I’d pick Jeff over Jordan and not split my votes. IMHO

Porshe isn’t the first person to “sleep her way to the top,” but she might be the first BB HG to preen and simper her way to the Final Three, while never leaving a horizontal position. Though now that I think about it, hmmm.. that IS the way people sleep their way to the top–horizontally.

That’s my way of telling you that Porshe won last night’s final POV, cementing her place in F3.

Porshe made it clear last night that she would evict Jordan in tonight’s second-to-last show, leaving Rachel the only one left standing of the once-mighty Vet alliance.

Jordan’s taking it with grace, having said earlier she’d rather go out fourth than third.

So.. thus ends the Jorchel alliance and begins the (slightly limp) era of Radamorshe. See, it even tastes bad, huh?

Tonight’s upcoming endurance comp should  be a lock for the redeemed red-head, and I–for one–will send her all the good Bookie vibes I can. It’s hard for me to stomach the fact that Porshe–the ham sandwich of the Big Brother 2011 house–actually made it. I would’ve given Mr. Quackers better odds.

However, to give credit where it’s due.. Porshe did step up and win comps when it counted, which Jordan did not.. Jeff told Jordan she had to step it up to stay in the game, and she didn’t. At this point in the game, it’s win…or go home.. Porshe won, and she’s still there.

But it is what it is.. So.. GO RACHEL! Hang, Swing, Balance or Rock and Roll your way to the win tonight,girl.

Before we get all the way to the end, I just wanted to take this opportunity to say… Thank you!

Some of you “Vets” have been with me for years. To all of you, and you “Newbies,”— I thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing to spend at least part of your Big Brother 2011 Season with me.

It’s been a blast, and honor and a privilege to hang out, strategize, and yes…even argue… with ya’ll.

This has not been my favorite season. Today I looked back over some of the posts from last year and I saw true passion in them. And I got to thinking that this year didn’t engender the kind of emotional uproar that I, at least, usually feel with this crazy show.

No other reality show on television gets on your nerves and under your skin like BB. We get to know these HG’s in a way we can’t with a Survivor, or an American Idol, cause we have the FEEDS. When you spend hours upon hours watching and listening to people, you can’t help it.. You get emotionally attached.

While I had my favorites this season, none of them lit a fire in my guts (either with love or hate) the same way they have in previous years.

I’m betting (and you all know how I like to bet my body parts) that next year will be a whole different story, and I wish with all my heart that you’ll come back in July 2012, and join me again.

In the meantime, have a beautiful, peaceful, healthy and happy year with your family and loved ones and know that a crazed BB reporter is thinking about you.

Since I think a person can love trash TV AND literature.. I’d like to say that I am a writer, and have completed my first novel. I’m still working on revisions, so it’s not perfect yet. But my dream–like every other “aspiring” out there– is to one day be a published author..

Looks like Kalia got the boot last night in a tie-breaker. No news there, so on to the next tidbit…

By all indications, it appears that Adam won HOH. *throws confetti*

Now, the most likely scenario, is that the HG’s played the POV last night, as well. The inevitable “mash-up” POV is always played at night. To get it into the Wed. night show, and get us back on schedule (and to get the Feeds up and running afterward-please, PLEASE) it’s probably a done deal. So, hopefully we’ll learn tonight who won that as well.

I’m crossing fingers and toes that Rach won that one, are you?
