We started last night’s episode with a look at a very angry Aaron who had been blindsided at the last Tribal Council. He was not let in on the plan to vote out Ronnie and he wasn’t happy about that at all. He made it very known to us that he didn’t trust anyone in his tribe at this point.
We then moved on to the Vokai tribe who was doing yoga on the beach when a boat pulls up. The man in the boat handed the castaways a scroll that told them to read it together. The scroll contained the name of the next castaway heading to Island of the Idols, Kellee, and they were all told that she would return before the end of the night.
Kellee gets to the Island of the Idols and is greeted by Boston Rob and Sandra. They give her a rundown of what Island of the Idols is all about and then they all sit together. Boston Rob and Sandra are having casual conversations with Kellee, but what Kellee didn’t know was this was all part of her lesson.
After talking for quite some time, Boston Rob tells Kellee that he has learned a lot about Kellee in their conversations, but now it is time to find out what she has learned about them. He adds that she will win an Immunity Idol good at one of the next two Tribal Councils if she could answer five questions correctly about what their conversations.
She admits to us that she wasn’t really paying attention and tells Boston Rob and Sandra that she isn’t sure she can answer the questions. Boston Rob sweetens the deal for Kellee and tells her that if she can answer three of the five questions correctly then she will win an Immunity Idol good at one of the next three Tribal Councils. She takes the challenge and answers the first three questions correctly and wins her Immunity Idol.
Kellee gets back to camp and tells her tribe mates the same terrible lie that Elizabeth told Lairo the week before and they fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. It was then time for this week’s Immunity and Reward Challenge and the reward for this week were spices and the castaways couldn’t have been more excited. At the end of the competition, Lairo came out victorious and Vokai was sent to Tribal Council.
Prior to Tribal Council, there was a lot of talk about splitting the vote between Jason and Noura who have both been on the outs with their tribe since day one. However, there was an idea floating around thanks to Lauren that they would flip the vote and take a shot at Molly. The only one that was wavering with this decision was Tommy who has a pretty good relationship with Jamal and Jack and doesn’t want to blindside them.
During Tribal Council, Jason is asked about who he thinks is bonding best in their tribe and he tells Jeff that it seems to be everyone but him. He tells Jeff that within hours of the game starting, he was on the outs. He says that this is all about his tribe mates being paranoid that he has been looking for an idol and at one point he empties everything from his bag.
Noura is then asked where Noura fits in and she tells him that she sticks out and doesn’t always feel like she is fitting in. There is a lot of talk about tribe culture and how fast this game is being played. Jamal doesn’t think that the game is being played that quickly and Jason calls him out for not even bringing his bag and tells him that they are clearly playing this game at different speeds.
Here is how the votes landed after everything was said and done:
- Jason
- Noura
- Molly
- Jason
- Molly
- Molly
- Molly
- Molly
With the other votes for Jason and Noura, five was enough to send Molly home this week on Survivor. What do you think about this move? Was Molly the right person to vote out?
