We started this episode off with Elaine talking to the tribe about how she had to take the chance while she had it. She didn’t think that Jason was going to go home as a result of her using that advantage. Meanwhile, Lauren is feeling very betrayed by the other tribe members. Missy tries to convince her that Lauren will be safe if they end up at Tribal, it wouldn’t be good for her game to get rid of Lauren because she is the only one who has connections with the women on the other side.
Meanwhile, on Lairo, the tribe members are starting to get a little sick of Jamal and the way he talks to the others and the way he takes things over. Noura brings up to the other women that she thinks that Jamal needs to go, but Janet thinks that it’s too dangerous to get him out now. Janet mentions that Dean should be the one they get rid of next. All of a sudden, a boat shows up and the guy has a note. The note says that Janet must get into the boat and head to Island of the Idols.
When Janet gets to the Island of the Idols, Rob tells her that her lesson is about calculated risks. Janet has the choice to play a game. If she wins, she will get an advantage that allows her to walk out of a Tribal Council before the vote keeping her safe. If she loses the game she loses her vote at the next Tribal Council. Janet chooses not to play the game because she doesn’t want to put a bigger target on her back by leaving the Tribal Council before the vote.
Janet gets back to the island with her tribe and tells them that she had the choice to play a game. She would win an advantage or there would be a consequence if she lost. She told them she chose not to play.
On Vokai, Lauren and Tommy are talking and she is nervous that one of them is the next target. Tommy starts going around trying to put a target on Dan’s back, but Missy is smarter than that. She is talking to Elizabeth and mentions that Tommy and Lauren are too close and she thinks that Tommy needs to be taken out of the equation.
It is time for the Immunity Challenge! The castaways will have to shoot coconuts into a basket, once the basket is heavy enough, puzzle pieces will unlock. The castaways will then race to complete this big and heavy puzzle. First tribe to complete it will win Immunity and be safe from Tribal Council. Vokai is the first tribe to finish their puzzle meaning that Lairo will be heading to Tribal tonight.
Kellee gets word that Dean is the target for tonight and Kellee doesn’t want Dean to go because they have a mutual connection back home. So, she is thinking about giving Dean her idol and putting her trust in Dean to write down the name of someone she wants to go home. She is worried that Dean might write down her name and send her home.
Kellee pulls Dean aside and tells him that he is the next vote and tells him that she has heard it from everyone. She then gives him her idol and tells him to play it that way she doesn’t put a target on them by playing it for him herself. Now let’s see if he writes down a name she wants or decides to send her packing.
It is time for Tribal Council and Noura is put on the spot about Jamal and how she has been trying to get him out. There is mention of an all womans alliance and Kellee shuts that down. There is a lot of talk about women’s empowerment after the talks of an all womans alliance and then it’s time to vote! The votes are tallied and Jeff asks if anyone has a hidden immunity idol they would like to play and Dean plays the one that Kellee gave to him and everyone is confused why he wouldn’t play it last week! Then Jamal plays his for Noura! No votes for Dean or Noura won’t count. Here is how the votes landed:
- Dean
- Dean
- Dean
- Dean
- Dean
- Jack
- Jack
Jack is the seventh person voted out and the first member of this season’s Jury!
