We started tonight’s episode off with a look at the castaways after the Tribal Council. Tony wants to talk to Sarah, but Sarah is infuriated. She agrees to talk to him, but she tells him that he sunk her game. He tells her that they are good and that they have the numbers if they stick together. He also tells her about his idol and tells her that she is safe because he will save her with it. She tells him that they are good until this comes back to bite her. She tells him that if she gets voted off, not to talk to her ever again.
Tony works on Ben next and tells Ben that he wants to work with him and tells him that he has an idol that will protect them. The next morning, Tony is looking for a new hiding spot. He lets Sarah in on his hiding place and she tells us that she is going to work with him, but if he doesn’t back off, he’s going to find himself voted off. He plans to use the tree by the well as his hiding spot to listen in on conversations that happen before Tribal Council.
Meanwhile, Kim is rallying against Tony with everyone on the island. She tells everyone that if they don’t take the chance now, they are going to run out of opportunities to take that shot.
On the Edge of Extinction, Rob finds a clue and it says that they each have a chance to win fire tokens. This will take tremendous effort. Along the backside of the island, there is a giant pile of coconuts. They have to stack 20 coconuts by their shelter one at a time. The first six castaways that finish this challenge will win two fire tokens, the other five will get none. During the challenge, Rob falls and split open his elbow. Natalie, Yul, Sophie, Parvati, Tyson, and Wendell are the first six to finish. Danni was right behind Wendell and probably would have won if she didn’t fall on the rocks. Regardless of losing, Rob kept going because he wanted to finish the challenge.
Back at camp, there is a lot of fighting back and forth and this opens up the opportunity for Nick, Denise, and Michele to form a final three. They start thinking about people they can recruit so they have the numbers. Nick and Michele talk to Kim. While talking to Tony and walking, Ben finds the idol that was put back into play after Sophie left with it. Ben’s first instinct is to hide it, but Tony clearly sees it in his hand, and Tony starts getting paranoid that Ben doesn’t trust him. Which is partially true.
It is time for tonight’s Immunity Challenge! The castaways will be standing on a narrow perch with their hand tethered to a rope that is attached to a barrel of water. If the spill their water, they are eliminated. The final man and final woman standing will both win immunity and two fire tokens each. The first one eliminated is Jeremy, Ben is second eliminated, and Sarah is down third. Jeff tempts them with food, Kim, Michele and Nick opt to take it leaving Denise and Tony as the Immunity Challenge winners!
After the challenge, Ben talks to Tony about what the plan was prior to the challenge. Ben tells Tony that Kim was chirping in everyone’s ear about getting Tony out. Tony then went to Nick and Nick admitted that Kim was telling everyone that and then Nick went back to Kim to tell Kim that Ben blew up her game. Tony then pulls Ben aside again and tells him that he knows that Ben wants Jeremy out, but they need to really consider Kim. Otherwise, Kim is going to get them each picked off one by one. Michele offers to give Jeremy her 50/50 advantage.
Before Jeremy takes the 50/50 coin from Michele, he goes to talk to Ben first. He tries to talk Ben into voting out Kim instead of him, but he doesn’t feel good about it at all. He takes the coin from Michele as a backup plan.
It is time for tonight’s Tribal Council! There is a lot of talk about how last week’s Tribal Council went and how things went after. As everyone is talking to Jeff, people start walking around and whispering to each other. Everyone is starting to get paranoid and Kim is starting to worry that her name might be going down on the paper, but Ben is still targeting Jeremy. Things are getting really heated when Jeremy tries to talk to Denise. Denise puts her hand up and tells Jeremy that she is good and adds that she is ready to vote. Jeremy outright asks her if she is aware that she is just safe for tonight and Denise tells him that she is very aware of that.
Jeff tallies the votes and tells everyone if there is a hidden immunity idol that someone would like to play, now is the time to do so. Tony tells Jeff to hold on a second. Tony tries to play his idol for Sarah, but she tells him he doesn’t have to so he doesn’t. Jeremy then pulls out the 50/50 coin, but doesn’t play it. Here are the votes:
- Jeremy
- Kim
- Jeremy
- Jeremy
- Kim
- Kim
- Kim
- Kim
Kim is voted off! Jeremy didn’t have to play an idol or the 50/50 coin! Tony got enough people to flip their votes. On Kim’s way out, she leaves her fire tokens to Michele, Denise, and Sarah.
