We started tonight’s episode off with Michele being really nervous about her relationship with Jeremy being exposed at Tribal Council. Jeremy returned her 50/50 coin to her and tells us that he wants nothing to do with this coin. He doesn’t want his time on the island to come down to a coin flip.

Tony tells us that keeping Jeremy around for now because if they take him out, the hyenas are going to come for them. As we know, He is working with Sarah and Ben and Ben wants Jeremy out. How do they get Ben to change his mind and take out someone that isn’t a number for them like Nick or Michele? Sarah tells Ben how she is feeling but gives him the option to choose. Ben decides that he will keep Jeremy around one more round and take out Nick this time around. Question is, can they make it happen?

It is time for the first Immunity Challenge of the night! In this challenge, they will be racing down to get a ball, throw it up on the top of an overhead track and run to the other side to get it. Once they get both their balls to the other side, they will dig themselves under a pole. They then have to do a slide puzzle and the first person done will win Immunity and 2 fire tokens. The first person to complete the puzzle and win Immunity and 2 fire tokens is…Nick! The one person they were all planning to vote out won Immunity.

They get back to camp and talk about getting Denise out, but Denise is a friend and a number for him. Ben then starts throwing around Michele’s name and asks Jeremy to try and get Michele’s coin from her. Ben then goes to Michele and tells her that Jeremy is going to ask her for her advantage. Michele is smarter than that and knows that Ben is playing both sides. Jeremy brings up trying to get Ben out and Michele is okay with that. However, Tony isn’t okay with that. The plan changes again. Tony, Nick, and Ben are going to vote for Jeremy. Sarah and Denise vote out Michele and the other two vote out Ben. Sending Jeremy to EOE.

Sarah is worried that Nick is a wildcard and Nick is telling us that he is going to make his decision based on who he thinks he can beat on Day 39. Who do you think Nick will vote out tonight? Do you think it will be Ben or Jeremy heading to EOE tonight?

It is time for the first Tribal Council of the night. They talk about how it’s hard to take the personal out of the game. They talked a lot about how the game affected them going back into the real world. They talk about the trust issues they had with people whether it be friends, family, spouses, etc. It is time to vote! After the voting happens, Jeff goes to tally them and tells everyone if they have a hidden immunity idol, now would be the time to use it. It’s the last time Michele can use her 50/50 coin, she decides to play it for herself and it lands on Safe. All votes cast for Michele will not count. Here are the votes:

  • Michele
  • Michele
  • Ben
  • Jeremy
  • Ben
  • Jeremy
  • Jeremy

With three votes, Jeremy is sent to the EOE. He leaves both of his fire tokens to Michele.

Back at camp, Ben and Tony are talking about how happy they are that Michele didn’t give her 50/50 coin to Jeremy. Tony and Ben talk about how Michele needs to be the next to go. Nick goes to talk to Michele and she is really upset with Nick because now that Jeremy is gone, they don’t have the numbers. Nick would like to see Ben go next, but Michele doesn’t think that there is a path to the end without Jeremy. Sarah, Tony, and Denise aren’t going to be flipping on Ben anytime soon.

Michele decides that she is going to start planting seeds with Sarah that they aren’t going to win against Tony. Michele tells her that Tony is running the show and Sarah asks her how she knows that. Michele sells her that perception if everything. Sarah goes back to camp and tells everyone else that.

Meanwhile, on EOE, we see Jeremy and the rest of the castaways eating their one scoop of rice. Yul finds a new clue and it talks about how a Throne of Stone and as soon as those words are read, everyone is off to the races. Natalie finds the advantage after some of the castaways went to other places they thought the clue could be referring to. Natalie opens the box in front of everyone. It holds the power to put a disadvantage on anyone left in the game. She can sell it for as many fire tokens as she thinks she can get for it. If she doesn’t sell it before sundown, it holds no power and she will get nothing.

She sells the scroll to Nick. It allows him to put a disadvantage on anyone in the game. All he has to do is write someone’s name down and that person will be notified at the start of the challenge. The person he is using it against will not know it was him. He goes to Michele for the tokens and she tells him she will give him the tokens and they decide to use it against….

It’s time to find out who the disadvantage is being used against! In this Immunity Challenge, they will be stacking blocks on a beam while avoiding trip obstacles. The first person to knock the blocks over like dominos and hit a gong will win Immunity and 2 fire tokens. The disadvantage will give the person being hit with 30% fewer blocks than the rest of the castaways. Nick gave the disadvantage to Ben! The first castaway to get their blocks to hit the gong is Michele!

When they get back to camp, Denise tells everyone that she knows that there is a good chance that she is the target. She offers to buy a bag of rice before dusk (this is the last day they can use them) if they make a big pot of rice so she can eat before. Everyone figures that Denise has given up and Denise is an easy out. Sarah and Tony think that Denise and Nick are their best bets. They have big resumes and they can’t beat them in the end.

It is time for the second Tribal Council of the night! They start talking about how much this Immunity Challenge win meant to her. She tells Jeff that she knew that she was on the bottom and that she needed to win this in order to be safe. They talked about Denise’s request for one last meal before she is sent to the edge. It’s time to vote! After the voting, Jeff tallies the votes and tells everyone that if they have a hidden immunity idol, now is the time to use it. No one uses one. Here are the votes:

  • Nick
  • Denise
  • Denise
  • Nick
  • Nick
  • Nick

With four votes, Nick is voted out and sent to EOE. They are told that tomorrow, someone will fight their way back into the game from the EOE which means that will be the first thing we see during next week’s three-hour finale!

We ended this episode off with the castaways celebrating their last day on EOE. Amber talks about how she’s been there for over a month and it has surprisingly gone by really quickly. She talks about how she is going to kind of miss this island because it’s forced her to slow down. She misses her kids, but she has enjoyed the simplicity of the EOE. They are given their scrolls where they can use their fire tokens on advantages or idols for when they get back into the game. Rob still has the idol he bought before the first battle back challenge. A lot of the castaways have bought advantages. Natalie bought three of them and an idol from the last time. Natalie bought a second idol and gave it to Tyson just in case he gets back in.
