As expected, Frank (and by extension Boogie) did NOT go out on  a limb. Did not decide to throw out that surprise left hook at Janelle’s team.  Nope, Team Boogie chose to take the easy path, and replaced Shane with Danielle.

Now the HG’s must decide which of the two sultry brunettes is  the bigger threat? The bigger ally?  The bigger pain in the a$$. Cause though both of these girls have issues in their own right, they also have one thing in common… Let’s look at that.

So….The strapping Southern Belle-Danielle is lazy, and the HG’s are collectively tired of her whining and negativity. (and what’s WITH her still lying about being a nurse? Stupid and unnecessary.)

But…The petite-firecracker New YAwker-Jojo is foul-mouthed, pushy, and NEVER shuts up. (and she’s ALREADY started talking how she deserves it more than others. That never goes over well in the BB house.)

It would be difficult to scrape up two girls at more opposite ends of the spectrum. What could they possibly have in common, you ask???

That’s right folks.. BOTH women are after the yummy (and heckuva nice guy) Shane!!  Well hell! This is winding up to be a DANG interesting week, Willie or no Willie!

Predictions anyone? On who (if anyone) Shane will choose? Or will they decide like this:

But this is a new house, and the first week’s eviction could be pivotal to the rest of the game.

The Branelle alliance is showing the first cracks, with Willie still pushing to keep his bromance Frank safe–even though Joe whipped them all into a frenzy when he told the group at an alliance meeting that Frank intimated that Boogie’s crew would go after Willie and Shane once they were in power.

Brit is standing by her man, while Janelle is pushing hard for Frank to go. On one hand, it’s smart, strategically, to get rid of the biggest physical threat. A move which also put the hurt on the wily Boogie. Jani’s personal vendetta against Boogie is causing her to push to do whatever is needed to “get him.” I wonder if it could be her downfall at some point?  On the other hand, taking Dan’s best player–and leaving him with only Danielle–basically takes him out of the game.

On a lighter note- it was date-night in the Big Brother 14 house. The HG’s served as wait-staff to wee Ian and his date, Ashley. Poor, awkward Ian gave a pretty good show for his part and Ashley was a very good sport.

And for the guys– There was lots of bubble-bath-ing going on. While Britney went solo- Janelle and Jojo {who seems to be slightly put-out that Shane is paying more attention to Danielle than to her- and says she can get any guy she wants. That she could “take him (Shane) from her (Danielle), if she (Jojo) wants to.} had double the fun.

There was a bit of a blow-up last night on people not cleaning up after themselves, and with the tension mounting between Janelle and Britney’s group over this week’s eviction- you better STAY TUNED.. It was a night of fun, fellowship and secret scheming in the  Big Brother 14  house last night. Just another day in paradise. But how long can it last? As we all know, the first couple of weeks in the BB house is always like this. An sharp intake of breath before the crazy comes out.

But while the Newbies played Kum-ba-ya in the backyard, the  Mentors never stopped their plotting. These guys know that no matter how much you pledge everlasting friendship in the house…It’s about the money, yo.

Some of the newbies are crossing the faction borders, invading into enemy territory. Is is infiltration, or defection?  Willie continues his deepening friendship with Frank, promising his safety in this week’s eviction. Brit and Janelle still aren’t happy about it, though. They wonder–with Frank’s obvious physicality and likeability–if it’s not a pivotal mistake to get rid of him while they can. This would also hurt Boogie’s team, and be a first step on their long-term goal of getting rid of him.

 Boogie’s totally aware of this, and is doing his best to counter. He’s aware of Janelle’s contempt for him- and is playing on that. Janelle hates him. Says “Booger” is jealous of her popularity with the fans. She tells Brit this in the HOH bathroom, while the two complain that they don’t have their maids to clean up after them, like they do at home.  *clears throat*

Out there on his own is Dan and his fragment of a team. What do you think?? Did Dan blow it in the draft? What was he thinking? Was his plan to pick up weak-looking players to float to the end?  No one really understands, but if he loses Kara this week, his chances are slim to none.

Brit and Janelle speculated more on when they’d “enter the game.” FYI-If that happens, it will change the dynamics completely. Do you like this option? Do you want to Coaches to enter the game?

If we haven’t mentioned one of your faves…Jenn.Ian. Joe.Wil. Jojo…here are a few tidbits on the less flamboyant HG’s.

Well, last night Brit, Wil and Kara gave Ian a session on ‘how to date’ that was hilarious. Joe is busy cooking day and night, and seems to get irritated if people don’t want to eat what he fixes.  Jenn is mostly in wall-flower mode. And I predict the abrasive Jojo will be the first HG to blow up. She is 100% hard-core New Yorker who ‘don’t take crap from nobody’. It’s gonna happen folks–and soon. Remember you heard it here first.

PS- Is there something blooming between Danielle and Shane?? Hmmm. what do YOU think? Shane seems to be the only person in the house who likes the “kindergarten teacher.” Everyone else is sick of her negativity and sloppiness. Even her partner Kara seems done with her.

The blonde bombshells are tightening  the noose around Dan’s team, and plotting the utter annihilation of Boogie’s.

The girls think they already have this one in the bag. But hello… it’s week ONE, ya’ll…AND in case anyone’s forgotten,  Dan and Boogie WON their games. Hmmm..I can’t seem to remember…which seasons did Janelle and Britney win???

Still, it’s entertaining as all get-out to watch Brit and Willie. And hear me–Willie is no Russell Hantz. He’s charming, charismatic,  and has a heck of a chance  to go to the end, if he plays his cards right. And I get the feeling he will.. He’s already flipped Brit and Janelle to his way of thinking, after they were dead-set on getting rid of Frank.

Now Kara’s in deep doo-doo, with zero chance that Shane will use the POV. Shane doesn’t seem like the type of guy to rock the boat, and…at least for the moment…will do what his team wants, regardless of his blossoming attraction to Kara. But, there’s still lots of time to flip the vote. And everyone knows that if anyone can get into people’s heads, it’s Dan. As Willie told his group, after he and Britney had spent a good half hour in the HOH with the BB10 winner… “Hell, he almost had ME convinced to do what he wants.” The problem is– if Dan loses Kara, he’s left with only Danielle–who’s a sweet girl, but clearly outclassed.

There was a VERY interesting exchange last night between Britney and Janelle, {FLASHBACK 10pm-cam 1}where they mentioned that Frank was the only one to pick up on the fact that there are four extra key slots. They then proceeded to muse on how they’d play it, “when they enter the game.”

Now- I don’t know if they know something that we don’t as of yet.. Or if it was just idle speculation on their part. But there ARE some more twists coming, we all know that..

BIG NEWS!!  This AM- at 10AM BBT– Joe told Frank and Boogie that Kara is a Playmate Playmate of the Year.  They proceeded to slam her as a spoiled pretty girl who doesn’t really want to play this game. She’s just used to getting her way, and that’s why she’s been so upset by being on the block. Speaking of secret identities– Though he has shared his true identity with his allies, the other teams only suspect Willie of being a Hantz. Now how long do you think that will last? Once the first rift happens between Janelle and Britney, (and that glorious day WILL come-the battle between those two is going to be Legend–wait for it–Dary) the incriminations will fly around that house faster than slop goes through a colon. {I know…ew, right?} And one more–puzzling and slightly lame–secret identity is also being called into question. Danielle’s strange decision to tell the HG’s that she’s a kindergarten teacher instead of a nurse. Boogie’s already onto that lie. And honestly.. why did she bother? 

This morning, Frank told Boogie about his talk with Janelle, where she basically SLAMMED Boogie’s character (Brit and Janey have a major smear-campaign going against Boogie). That led Boogie and Frank to begin an scheme for Frank to infiltrate that group. We’ll keep an eye on that one.. 

Though the Branelle alliance is riding high right now, we know whoever’s associated with the HOH feels invincible. But it never lasts for long. Willie’s turned out to be a fantastic first HOH choice, however. And he’s been able to deflect any fall-out from his decisions onto his coach. A nice job, that.

Last night was all that was good about this show. Human beings. *head shake* They always surprise you.

Whodathunk Shelly, of all people, would be the deciding vote?

I’d had a bad feeling in my gut all day that somehow Porshe would pull this off. I have never been happier to be wrong. (Thankfully, my inner fortune teller was on the fritz)

Rachel told it true last night. She fought from the day she walked in the door. She deserved that win!

Of course, the most entertaining part of the evening were the exchanges between Jeff and Dani and Dani and Dick. Dick called it –Daniele played too hard,too fast. For someone like her–who believed they were a superior player, getting a spanking from Daddy on national TV had to hurt. She tried to lash back, by telling Rachel–when she cast her vote for Porshe–”Rachel, you just oughta be glad this isn’t a personality contest.” Bitter grapes, anyone?

But even that probably didn’t sting as bad as when Julie announced who won America’s Favorite… hehehe..

All in all, the show ended on a much higher note than the last couple of weeks indicated. When the show was over, I felt like I do after a nice meal…..Satisfied.

Julie has already announced that Big Brother was picked up for another year.. YAY! I can only hope they’ll go back to their roots and give us some HG’s worthy of the game.

I am so honored that you chose to spend your Big Brother 2011 Season with me. It isn’t easy to be a Big Brother Fan-atic and report all their doings. Sometimes my poor family had to go hungry, while I muttered “Liar. Beeotch” at my computer screen. But it’s all worth it, if I enhanced…in any way… your Big Brother experience.

OK- You can open them. *sigh* Back to reality, and I don’t think I have to tell you that there’s a decided lack of sparkling intellectual conversation to report. (I know.. shocker.)

Still, even though it looks like our Final two is a lock, Adam had to give it the old college try.. which he did yesterday at FLASHBACK 11:21am BBT.

Adam explained to Porshe that if she takes him, he will get up and tell the Jury to vote for her.  And if she doesn’t take him……well, then, he’s the deciding vote, isn’t he?? And he wouldn’t be super inclined to help her out.

Later, at FLASHBACK 12:24pm BBT, Porshe told Rachel about the conversation, embellishing it some, and explaining how Adam ‘threatened her’ and how she doesn’t wanna be around him any more.

Rachel blew it off, but she has to be thinking..hmm.. What IS my best option here, were I to win the final comp? She claims she’ll take Porshe, but the truth is, she has to know she has a better shot against Adam. I guess we’ll find that out on Finale night..

In other news, Porshe told Rachel last night at FLASHBACK 11:30pm BBT– that Janelle had nothing to do with her getting on the show. That she only gave her “productions” phone number, but she had to try out all by her little old self.

This, of course, is in stark contrast to her flippant bragging about Janelle’s hook-up, earlier in the season.

Porshe isn’t the first person to “sleep her way to the top,” but she might be the first BB HG to preen and simper her way to the Final Three, while never leaving a horizontal position. Though now that I think about it, hmmm.. that IS the way people sleep their way to the top–horizontally.

That’s my way of telling you that Porshe won last night’s final POV, cementing her place in F3.

Porshe made it clear last night that she would evict Jordan in tonight’s second-to-last show, leaving Rachel the only one left standing of the once-mighty Vet alliance.

Jordan’s taking it with grace, having said earlier she’d rather go out fourth than third.

So.. thus ends the Jorchel alliance and begins the (slightly limp) era of Radamorshe. See, it even tastes bad, huh?

Tonight’s upcoming endurance comp should  be a lock for the redeemed red-head, and I–for one–will send her all the good Bookie vibes I can. It’s hard for me to stomach the fact that Porshe–the ham sandwich of the Big Brother 2011 house–actually made it. I would’ve given Mr. Quackers better odds.

However, to give credit where it’s due.. Porshe did step up and win comps when it counted, which Jordan did not.. Jeff told Jordan she had to step it up to stay in the game, and she didn’t. At this point in the game, it’s win…or go home.. Porshe won, and she’s still there.

But it is what it is.. So.. GO RACHEL! Hang, Swing, Balance or Rock and Roll your way to the win tonight,girl.

All night, beginning at FLASHBACK 9:37pm BBT, the mysterious Crystal spoke: ““Greetiings, HG. I am Crystal, the BB FT. I have a premonition that winner of BB is in room with me.”

She told them that each time she laughs, the HG’s will have one minute to get to the Parlor Room to hear one of her premonitions, and that if they don’t listen carefully, they won’t win the next HOH.

In case you aren’t aware– the HG’s will have the Week 9 Eviction today, and possibly the next HOH comp-followed by the final, all-important Big Brother 2011 VETO comp, all of which will likely be seen on the Wednesday show. Remember– the winner of this VETO will be the sole vote on who leaves, and who stays to play with them and the HOH in F3.  Yesterday afternoon, the HG’s were informed of this, which threw them all for a loop. FLASHBACK 4:32pm BBT--No news yet on what will happen to the LIVE FEEDS today and tomorrow.

Periodically through the night, Crystal’s demonic laugh filled the house, and the HG’s scurried to hear her fortunes/zingers on the HG’s:

• In 2018 shelly will make millions when her book “How I created the perfect tan and how you can tan, too.” reaches #3 on the all-time best seller list.

• In 2017, after the hot Miami sun becomes too much for her to bear, P will move to Anchorage, Alaska, and live in an igloo with an Eskimo named Ernie.

• In 2014 Jeff will disappear from society. He will be last seen wandering the Chicago streets muttering two words: Clown Shoe

• On Oct 15th, 2011 at 3:42pm Dani will reconcile with her father Dick. On Oct 15th, 2011 at 3:49pm they will go back to not speaking.

• In 2014 after sleeping for 19 straight days and making national headlines in a sleep study, Kalia will earn her dream job as a mattress and pillow tester.

• After taking 9 years to earn his PHD, Brendan will shock scholars and physicians alike after discovering the cure for an ailment that plagued him his entire life: Athlete’s foot.

• In 2016 Lawon will take New York fashion week by storm when he launches his handsomefied line of hats, ties, and jackets.

• In 2011, after the runaway success of the Humilitard, Jordan will launch a line of Humilitard inspired items including the Humilicar, the Humilifier and the Humili-bake oven.

The HG’s all studied feverishly all night, but even after going to bed..at the writing of this at 2:48am BBT, the old gal was still doing her thing, repeating the phrases and denying the hamsters sleep.

Around 11:32pm BBT FLASHBACK, Rachel asks Jordan if she really has to vote to keep Kalia? (Earlier, Jordan had decided to give Kalia a vote, thereby keeping her word to her never to vote her out.)  Jordan is thinking about it, worried that Adam could decide to keep K… A dangerous situation, as Kalia is very good at remembering the phrases, while both Porshe and Jordan are struggling.

I think this is Adam’s HOH to lose, and so does he.. Earlier in the night, he  gave his word to R/J that he would vote out Porshe over them, since he’s decided to roll with the Vets to the end.

UPDATE– Adam did NOT use VETO, pretty much guaranteeing Kalia’s eviction this week.

Today’s VETO Ceremony will solidify Adam’s committment (or non-commitment) to the Jorachel alliance. If I was a betting chick–and it so happens that I am–I’d bet my left butt-cheek that we’ll see the big bacon-lover choosing NOT to use the POV, hitching his wagon to the Jorachel train and thereby cursing the trio to three more days of a begging Kalia.. (And woo-what begging! While Porshe has decided to lay low, Kalia does…not…stop.. with the yappity-yap, devolving into tears and yep.. I wasn’t joking.. Begging.) Last night at 1:20am BBT FLASHBACK, Kalia made her big “circle of trust” move with Adam. She, in a big mysterious gesture, showed him that she was the one who has the black queen from the chess set. She undoubtedly expected it to be a huge…WOW.. moment, but Adam was like.. oookayy.

I doubt it will save her. Jordan, Rachel and Adam have pretty much decided that she is the biggest roadblock in their way. The upcoming HOH is almost certainly questions. Kalia is good at questions, ergo–in their minds, Kalia must go.

BUT WAIT!! It’ won’t BE three more days.  It’ll be ONE day.. If you remember from previous seasons, this week we normally have a double-eviction of sorts, as the HG’s tape an eviction ceremony on Tuesday for airing on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s show will take the HG’s down to F4, followed the next night by the last HOH  of the Big Brother 2011 season, before the three-part F3, finale on Sept 15th. Check out the FEEDS today for the VETO fallout!

Before that happens…Let’s talk about what I believe are the HG’s best shot at winning the end game, and who they should take to F2.

Kalia-- well, she won’t be there. But if a miracle happens- then she could take anyone but Rachel, and she’d win.

Porshe–her best bet is against Jordan. Against Adam, it’s possible the Vets might reward his loyalty- and end-game comp victories. Against Rachel, she loses.

Adam–against Porshe, Kalia or Rachel, he’s playing for second. His ONLY shot at winning is against Jordan–since he’d have to win out against Rachel to get there.

Jordan-- Unless she wins the next two comps. I don’t see it happening. She’s playing for second, and she’s told Rachel she’s fine with Rachel winning.

Rachel-- If Rachel’s sitting in one of the F2 Chairs, it’s a lock. She’s fought since day one and if she makes it… She deserves to win!
