Big Brother 2013 Spoilers: Live Feeds Recap – 7/9/2013
|With the eviction two days away on Big Brother 15, everyone in the house seems content with that fact that Elissa will be going home this week and the focus seems to be on securing alliances for the final five, final two and so on for Big Brother 2013. Yesterday was a day of talking about those alliances and members of the house starting to voice their opinions on the racist comments coming from some of the Big Brother 2013 houseguests. Check out some highlights in our Big Brother 2013 spoilers below!

The Moving Company (Jeremy, McCrae, Spencer, Nick and Howard) seem to be confident that Elissa will be voted off and they even talk about making it to the final five together. However, all of them are working side alliances big time! Jeremy came up with a new one of himself, Spencer, Howard, Aaryn and Kaitlin.

Two people have a target on their backs: Spencer and Amanda. The Moving Company thinks Amanda has too much control over McCrae and they are worried about her and want her gone. Andy, Helen and that side of the house is thinking Spencer is not trustworthy and want him on the block next.
Candice, Howard, Helen and a few others have a conversation about the racist comments made in the Big Brother 2013 house. They are not happy with them and I think if the comments continue one of the them (Candice) may blow up on these girls!
Amanda than talks with Aaryn about overhearing the conversation and tells her to watch how she talks and she knows she is not racist (she might be the only one thinking that) and it is not meant in a mean way, but to watch what she says. Aaryn denies being a racist (can’t wait until she gets a chance to explain that to her past employers).
Aaryn talks with Howard later on about the comments and doesn’t really apologize for them, but the whole conversation is a joke. He thinks she didn’t mean them in a malicious way, but he really does. She thinks she is not a racist and her comments were taken out of context.
Promises are being made by both sides of the house and Nick thinks he is safe and Elissa thinks he is safe and no one will be voting for Helen. All we have to look forward to now is more game talk until we get to the eviction vote tomorrow night! Can we make it until then???

While I do agree that the N word was originally intended to describe an ignorant person, it’s meaning has changed over the years, and is not being used in that context on the show, making it extremely derogatory. The offensive HG’s will get what they deserve when they’re eventually evicted from the house anyway. I know if I had a friend like Aaryn, I would stop being her friend, because I wouldn’t want anyone to think I was guilty of her callousness or bigotry by association. I believe that people who talk badly about others to you, more than likely say the same offensive remarks about you behind your back to others as well. Actions speak volumes, and these offensive HG’s actions make me believe that they do not comprehend the meaning of kindness or true friendship.
This morning on the inside page of the little old Orlando Sentinel there was an op piece about the racism on BB. It took CBS to task for picking such scumbags and not taking a stand/or at least fully commenting on the garbage that is being said on their show. When it makes the newspaper you know that people are noticing.
Throw the little Nazi out for cheating if they haven’t the guts to address her nasty, racist meanness. I’ve never seen a person so devoid of any redeeming qualities. Pretty is as pretty does is so true in this case. Poor child is rotten to the core.
I wish Jessie would get on board with Elissa and Helen. But she seems to be the type to go with what the house wants. She’s hoping to become part of something (an alliance or maybe just the cool kids club). Only the something she might get with aligning with Aaryn and crew, might be something she doesn’t want. Apparently Amandas soft-soap approach to calling Aryan out didn’t work. If Aaryn thinks racist comments is a form of joking then she has a weird sense of humor. Her apology to Howard was strategy not sincerity. I’d rather not have an apology at all if it doesn’t come from the heart. Here’s hoping that Candace goes Godzilla on her butt and levels her ego like Tokyo
Yeah, I thought Jessie would be more annoying from Day 1, but then she has quieted down. Why people are letting Jeremy and Aaryn call the shots is beyond me.
Fear (of messing up their game). And confrontation. Jeremy is cut from the same cloth as Wille Hantz (BB 14). Most of the HGs talk big but want to avoid confrontation with him. It could lead to the same kind of situation as with Willie. In my opinion Jeremy is volatile. If challenged he becomes agressive and threatening. He’s a bit over confident and he doesn’t wear it well at all.
I totally agree with you on that one. That guy needs some serious therapy!
I’m totally confused by the BB-HG and really have no idea who to root for this season. I absolutely dislike Aaryn, Jeremy, Spencer, Jessie and GinaMarie! I’m on the fence about Kaitlin and McCrae. I thought I’d like McCrae week 1, but his cowardice towards Elissa and his skittish sketchy actions during his HOH reign made me take a step back and another look at his character. I’m still unsure where Judd fits in the game. At this point I like Andy, Helen, Howard, Elissa, Candice, Nick and Amanda, but I’m not totally sold on any one person this season. It’s a very strange season. Everyone seems to change from one moment to the next. Unlike past seasons, people seemed to be on a more even mindset, but these new people are confusing and all over the place. Nick is pretty smart and I wish Elissa knew about him trying to keep her safe from eviction last week with the whole “keep her around for the MVP” idea. I just really don’t know who to root for :p
