|The time has come and we can finally get a better understanding of what Week 9 on Big Brother 2013 will be about thanks to the Power of Veto Competition. The players were picked earlier today and the competition is finally done and we have a HouseGuest with a necklace worn proudly on Big Brother 15. How this week plays out on Big Brother 2013 rests on who wins the veto for Week 9. The players have finished and the winner is Amanda. Yup, we all knew it was going to happen, even though none of us wanted to believe it. Her first win of the season and it comes when she needs it the most (and we did not need it to happen)!
From the sounds of it, GM was close to winning, but barely lost it in the end. Get ready to hear about it being rigged, but Elissa won HoH this week and everyone said it was rigged then too. How can it be rigged for both of them???
It looks like now McCranda will be trying to get GM on the block, but Elissa is not going to do that. Who should be very, very afrida right now? Yup…none other than the queen of popping in: Andy. His days may be numbered and this should be interesting to watch, even though my bubble has been popped by this win today by Amanda on Big Brother 2013. She can’t be the renom since she was the winner and we all know McCrae is coming off the block!

I TOTALLY agree with you on this one! I just got the feeds today and to watch her really bully people all day was absolutely repulsive! I don’t know where she is getting her stupid outfits she keeps putting on but if a national channel is looking at this to be something to be proud of, they had better think again! Yes it was said when she entered the show she was pregnant and either had a miscarriage or aborted it just before the show- I’m not sure which because they kept blacking it out with the flipping aquarium! She really is a sick woman for real and I’m so sick my dinner can’t even digest! That house looks so horrible and this is just a sick display of crap but you can’t stop watching!!!!! Icky- I wish like hell she hadn’t of won to watch her horsey face gloat all over the place and tell Elissa SHE is adore loser! I hate it! I hope she goes where she belongs- straight to hell! I do not like Amanda’s morals or anything about her but she is outplaying everyone else. This is a game not popularity.
Then it’s a dirty game and I don’t believe it has to be. It appears that most hg’s are rewarding her and Aaron for their racist remarks. But, you are right, she is winning.

Don’t like her morals either, but was very excited she won the Veto. She hasn’t won much in comps, but she is definitely outplaying everyone. As far as Andy, OMG, I can’t stand him. He is a floater. He talks to everyone about lying, he is the biggest fake in the whole house. He says what everyone wants to hear. That’s not how to play the game. You will get caught eventually!!!

booo, that sucks. i almost had my hopes up that bb was finally going to save the show but noooo. so much for that. out of all the hg’s i cant’ stand amanda the most. she is a bully, and soo full of herself.
Talk about full of herself Alissa is No. 1 at loving herself and no one else. She is using everyone she hates to help her with this HOH. Can’t any of you see that. Her whiny voice is killing me. She does everything Amanda does but more degrading. Alissa is much more personal with her digs. This is a game not life or death.
You are so right Amanda is such a bully and is so full of herself. I think they should get Andy out first since they can’t get Amanda and her boyfriend out and then they should make sure that neither one of them win HOH and put both of them up on the block and that way the will be able to at lest get one of them out the game.
Has anyone else noticed how closely Amanda resembles a Star Wars character? and I’m not talking about Princess Leia- I think she is exactly like Jaba the Hutt!!!
And she probably smells worse. Them kissing and humping last nite was just sickening and she is just mad she can’t flop in the HOH like she owns that once nice house now a dump. They finally brushed their teeth tonight. McNasty is in serious need of a bath. Sooo gross. Who lives like that? My house is a little messy at times but come on! And how did she k ow she was pregnant after 3 days. I have 4 kids and that’s not possible for it to just go away! Not only is Amanda and her pizza boy lazy and appear to be dirty, has anyone notice that She is constantly picking and playing with his face and hair, like Ape’s and monkeys do when picking bugs from their mate’s and eating them. That’s what I think of when she does that, then she puts her fingers in her mouth after playing in his greasy hair. She’s just a very disgusting person. and I’m sure her parent’s are proud of what they raised.

I’ve been watching BB from day-1 I’m talking Eddie McGee day-1 and can honestly say except for Elissa, Helen, Aaryn and GM these are the nastiest most disgusting GHs ever. With the dirty clothes and bedding thrown all over the floor, dirt wet bath towels on the kitchen table, the constant farting, picking and scratching(take bath and clean up the filth for crying out loud)its by far the filthiest BB house ever. Has anyone notice in the HoH room Spencer would pull his hand out of his pants after scratching his balls then with the same hand would reach into a box or bag of snacks (chips, crackers ,m&m).. of HoH’s?. How disgusting it that? anyway I swear sometimes I can smell the stench of McCranda coming through my TV screen. CBS should do something about the filth. Its offensive to my eyes

GM may have a loud laugh and a dirty mouth, but tries to keep the house clean and she doesn’t look like she smells.

I like Elissa better than the other hg’s. She isn’t offensive like the others, didn’t kiss butts, stayed out of drama, exercised so she could compete. She tried to make a big move, I hope she’s able to at least get Arynne out. I hope she replaces Mcrae with Andy.

As long as Judd is true to Elissa, things are going to work out for the better people of BB. And I agree, Andy should leave so Amanda, and her boyfriend, can no longer have the advantage of knowing what the others are planning to do. Like I said, I hope that Judd, is really with Elissa. I have doubts about that one.
Elissa & Judd are the only people left that I wouldn’t mind seeing win the money All the rest are bad moraled people except McRae. He’s just guilty by association.

Cat….I have a question I hope you have an answer for….If they do say a Pandora’s box AFTER the pov CEREMONY, and a new pov emerges….can Amanda or Macrae be renominated
If Pandoras Box contained a Diamond POV then the owner would get to take someone off the block AND replace them with whoever they chose instead of the HOH renomming someone. But they can not replace them with whoever holds the normal veto or the HOH. It holds a bit more power than regular veto. I would actually prefer PB to hold a coup d’etat. Not only would the holder of it be able to overthrow BOTH nominations but would be able to rename BOTH replacements. The HOH and normal veto holder would be exempt from being nommed though. Both the DPOV and the Coup d’etat have only been seen twice in BB history so i don’t have a lot to go on as for whether McCrae could be renommed. I’m thinking that he can’t but if either prize was used then Amanda is safe and sound as the veto holder.
How convenient for the cow. This all just doesn’t sit well with me. I can’t wait to see the actual comp, so I can decide if it was rigged shenanigans or not. Right now I’m going with my gut and it says big time shenanigans! 😛 Shame on you BB! I was so excited this game was actually getting good for a change. GGggggrrrr!
Also pat, when the coup d’etat was used everyone was allowed to play in the next HOH, including the current HOH. This was because the coup d’etat winner was able to override the HOHs noms. Which pretty much destroyed the HOHs power for that week.
I’m no Cat but since I’m here, I’ll tell you what I know. There are two powers that can override the current HOH’s current nominees. They are the Diamond Power of Veto and the Coup d’Etat. The DPOV essentially allows the wearer to override ONE of the HOH nominations and appoint whoever they want up for eviction. Compare this to the regular Power of Veto where the winner can save one nominee but the Head of Household gets to choose the replacement nomination. The DPOV holder cannot choose the current POV holder (in this case Amanda) or the current HOH (in this case Elissa).
The holder of the Coup d’Etat (in the past-chosen by America) has the power to overthrow the HOH’s nominations. They are also able to name their own replacement nominees. However, they may not choose the current HOH or POV Holder. The holder can remove TWO nominees and replace them with two other House Guests.
In short Amanda no/McCrae yes.
If Elissa receives any power like this she would be foolish not to save it for herself. She made need it to take herself off the block next week.

I love that everyone in the house thinks that they are so much smarter than Elissa. She listens to their pleas, moans and nods, says “I don’t know” and “yeah”, asks what they think she should do and then tells them she needs a naps or has a headache.
Can’t wait for the blow up on Monday. Amanda will say something nasty before the veto meeting, Elissa will smile and laugh and then promptly put up Andy. Then the waterworks will begin. Andy will cry. Aaryn will begin to hyperventilate. McCrae will scold Amanda for not being able to hold her tongue and getting Andy nominated. And lastly, Amanda will cry because McCrae is “never on her side”.

But she also said that she doesn’t think he will waiting for her after seeing what she been up to with McCrea. If a player wins Veto and uses it on another player they are safe and not allowed to be nominated as a replacement. Otherwise no one would ever use it unless they were on the block themselves.

The Power of Veto gives the holder the ability to veto one of the HOH’s nominees. That person is then also safe from nomination – otherwise the POV would not be any sort of power. No one would use it except the HoH or someone else doing the HoH’s bidding.
