We have all been worried. We have all been ticked. We have all been frustrated. Week 4 seemed to start and end with the same target, but there were some interesting moments along the way. We saw some of those moments last night on Big Brother 16, especially when Brittany drew the HG Choice chip for the Veto Competition and picked Caleb as her choice. CBS failed to show us Brittany and Amber planning all morning to work together to keep Brittany around, but then Brittany picking Caleb instead of an ally in Amber???

With that being said, the final two nominees for Week 4 on Big Brother 16 are:
- Donny Thompson
- Brittany Martinez
Brittany has been the target all week and Caleb was mentioned of going on the block next to Brittany, but Cody wussed out. Now Donny is up there as a pawn and no one is going to vote him out….yet! That means Brittany will go home tonight and take her bun with her!
Who do you think is going home tonight?

LOL…apparently i’m using far too many words that the censors do not like this morning. Or maybe i just want to be specific about my thoughts. Nah…i’m just being a bad Cat as Todd says 🙂 🙂
Whatever words you are using, I bet I could just add a “ditto” to them ;-)!!
Derrick was one of my favorites from the start but now I want the “master manipulator” gone!!
I hope Cody saved himself a couple of those balls from the soccer game–he seems to have lost the 2 he had.
Brittany is going home. Donny is winning HOH and Derrick is getting back doored. How cool is that.
I’d say that would be like hitting a home run….during the World Series.
Grand Slam!
Oh geez let’s back door Caleb and I’m totally on board. haha 😉
Me too…. I am so tired of that guy.
From your keyboard to God’s eyes!
I was AWOL yesterday cause I had to catch up on some stuff in my real life. Haven’t read all of the comments but definitely agree with the thoughts my board (or is that “bored”?) friends have expressed. I want Derrick’s reign to be over!!
Also, was very sad to hear about Frankie’s grandfather. I am ready for Frankie to leave but I certainly wish him strength to get through this sad time. Grandfathers and grandmothers are very special people.
Derrick and Frankie are running the house. Brit is gone and Donny would be the only one with the chutzpah to nom Derrick. Frankie will be untouchable this week as far as nominations no matter who wins. The rest of the house I feel has snorted too much of the “dust” to see Derrick as what he is (dominating the social game). If you think about a endurance comp which we are due for. Money would go for Frankie or Donny. As both are motivated to win.
Donny talked about nominating Frankie and Derrick earlier in the week if he won HoH. With it being Donny, I don’t know if he could nominate Frankie so close to getting the news about his grandpa. I’m still hoping for a Donny win tonight!
I do not think Donny the type. PLus nominating Frankie this week would be bad for any plyer (IMO). Franky would get the sympathy from the other HG and the HOH that did nominated him could be viewed and evil or playing too hard and would become a bigger target. At some point they have to go back to 1 HOH would you not think? My guess would be 9 going into the jury house and the HOH back to one (normal) in the same week. Production I think will be doing somthing this week or next to shake up the house.
I think the twist should end in the next couple weeks. I looked back to last season and the MVP twist ended after Week 6, so could be that time again.
In a typical season, jury starts when the first double eviction occurs. I’m thinking that might make it next week (or following week surely). This is when i expect the HOH to go back to being just one person also.
If Frankie has decided this game is his priority, then he needs to play it to the fullest and everyone else needs to treat him like any other player. It’s like that year in Survivor where the one player’s grandmother died. It wasn’t true but everyone thought it was and were so sympathetic to him instead of “playing the game”.
Question: (And this is NOT for our very articulate Cat, who has explained her thinking to me clearly….)
For all my other friends here (and I’m not picking a fight; I’m sincerely curious), I was just wondering why YOU dislike Derrick so much? Is it because he has too much power? Is it because his control makes the game boring? Or is it because he is on the opposite side of our beloved Donny? Or are you swayed by the intelligent musing of our BBCat?? Or is there another reason?
I’m just curious if you all have developed a dislike of Derrick based on something I haven’t seen. Or if you naturally root for underdogs and don’t like that Derrick is pulling all the strings. Because other than Donny, is there anyone else he’s targeting in the next few weeks whom you really want him to fail at getting out?
Just curious! Back to family lunch and running errands! Can’t wait to read the update of the live show!!!!!
I just think Derrick is extremely arrogant with a misplaced sense of entitlement. I don’t trust him.
He seems to have all the power. The game gets boring when one person controls all. I like watching the game more when the power shifts and things change up. I don’t what the same as last year when even people that didn’t like someone they still voted the way Amanda and her posse wanted.
They probably dislike him because he is actually playing the game…
That’s why I asked, Jan-Jan. Cat has strong opinions, which I respect. Shoot, she watches a lot more live than I do! But I – who would usually be rooting for the underdog side of the house to make a big move to overthrow the power player – find myself content to let Derrick sprinkle his dust for a few more weeks. I think he’s working hard and smart. Now, that does have me scratching my whiskers because I, too, really like Donny. But I was just wondering if others had strong feelings based on facts or if – as I suspect – they just want things in the house to get shook up (which I would NOT mind as long as Derrick can manipulate his way through it).
Just my observation/opinion, of course!
The others right now are either too lazy or stupid or just want someone else to do the dirty work for now…and the only one really doing anything is Derrick…I want someone to shock me and show me that they know how to play the game.
I think Derrick is playing the best game, Everyone is listening to him and doing what he says. He even makes it so they think its still their decision. lol I don’t like him but he is playing the smartest!
Appreciate the honesty, Tammy. I admit, I’d kinda like to see Derrick have to wiggle out of some tighter spots or shift his strategy a bit to see what he’s made of. But I’m still rooting for him! For now.
Ok another question for you guys. I was thinking about Donny being HOH. If he is, he will have to nom 2 people and get some blood on his hands (sorry but it’s ingrained in me to call it that). Wouldn’t it be better if someone else got HOH…..someone that would keep him safe (Jacosta? Victoria?)? Someone he can influence without being the bad guy. Then he could play in the next HOH (and hopefully win it). Which will probably lead us into jury. And then he would have a case to make if he gets to F2 (ok i’m dreaming but play along here) that he made a big move. Just a thought. Sometimes it’s more important to be the power behind the power than it actually is to hold the title. What do you think?
Only thing with that is “Derrick Dust” and the weak play of all the other house guests. I do not see anyone in the house that would go against Derrick Frankie and Cody besides Donny unless Caleb wins and goes awol to target Cody.
Would love to see Caleb win and target Cody and Frankie. I don’t think he would go after Derrick, Amber would be put on the spot for sure if Cody is on the block and Caleb put him there! Caleb may get smacked with reality and start playing the game for himself. Frankie then win POV and Amber would get put up. Maybe the girls would get smart and stick together and get out the guys! I know this would never happen but a girl can wish!!
I don’t dislike Derrick atleast he is playing the game constantly!! I have no idea why Jocosta and Victoria are even there and who thought they should even be put into the house! They bring absolutely nothing to the game! Cody is getting about as boring as Christine. Zach is a loose cannon which brings the unknown to the house, Caleb is just a sad muscle man with no clue to what is actually going on in the house! I love Donny but he needs to get with Hayden and Nicole and start playing the game hard. He will go home soon if he doesn’t! So far Derrick and Zach are playing hard, Frankie is another Andy!! YUK!!
I hate the fact that she thinks just because she is a mom and left her kids she deserves to be there. If you couldn’t handle leaving your kids don’t go in. Whoever plays the game best should win, That doesn’t always happen, but most of the time it does!
CBS just posted this interview with Donn’y girlfriend…love it:

She will be on All-stars #2 because it has not been on yet….. Big Brother did have former houseguest on after All-stars….. but not a true all star contest. Next year or in 2016 will be a great time for All-stars #2.
