Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Andy Herren On The Amazing Race?
|Many fans are not happy about the return of Rachel and Brendon on The Amazing Race 2014, but could you imagine Big Brother 15 winner Andy Herren (and his winning tattoo) as a contestant on the show??? He was tweeting out his desire to be on the show and some possible partners, which he thinks would bring in some great ratings for The Amazing Race. He thinks very highly of himself. We all know that CBS likes to recycle the contestants from different reality shows and have them on some other show, so it would be no surprise to see Andy on The Amazing Race, but I also think they want to move away from the disaster of Season 15! He doesn’t think so and thinks of a perfect partner for himself:

To be honest, these people tweet way too much and it is hard to keep up with them! I don’t know if he is being honest or just being a smartass (which he often does), but Amanda Zuckerman joined the conversation as well and she made a good zinger:

Wait!…wait just a darn minute!….did i read that right that Amanda tweeted “amazing race-ist”? Has she forgotten we all saw her antics on BB15? I’m definitely no fan of Andys but how the h*ll can she call someone else racist?…Pot calling the kettle black much Amanda? If CBS decided it was a good idea to put ANY of BB15 hgs on the show, i would have to question their sanity. And while i’m ranting…did Andy call BB fans stupid? No Andy…we’re not stupid just because we don’t agree with your STUPID actions on BB! Someone get me a doc…i’m about to burst a vein!!!

Not to defend either of them, but here I go lol:
1 – Amanda was making a joke about them being on the show and if they were on The Amazing Race then it would be The Amazing Race-ist.
2 – I was trying to think of a way to defend Andy, but I can’t! I think he was trying to point out certain fans that don’t like him or her, but that is the majority of the BB fans.
Ok..so it was a joke. But in MY estimation, a poorly thought out one. To remind people that this past season was a dismal failure because of racist comments (and other things)is to make lite of the outrage felt by a lot of BB fans. Maybe i’m too sensitive but any time she uses the word racist (whether joking or not), makes me think she learned nothing from her stint on BB.
As for Andy…I stick by my opinion.

Oh, I think it was a terrible joke and they are both jokes to this society. BB15 is all they have to go off of, so they will never let it die!
To bring back an old “Valley Girl” expression for the past, “Gag me with a spoon!” (I wasn’t a Valley Girl but this expression was just too appropriate for this post!)
I certainly hope AR is in no way thinking about bringing back those two–I would even pick the Afghanimals or Brenchel over those 2! And I just realized that I said on the other thread that I was tired of Elisa’s whining–I must offer a big apology to Elisa whom I really like–of course, I meant Rachel!

OMG, Cat, I’m right there with you. I think of TAR as a little more classy than the more traditional “reality” shows, especially BB. I have a funny feeling the only people from BB15 whom I would enjoy watching on TAR are people who are quietly going back to their normal lives and wouldn’t be interested.
The only reason that would make me watch Andy the Rat on TAR is to pray he is the first to go – in embarrassing fashion!!
And too bad I don’t need Andy the Rat to validate my intelligence. I don’t give a rat’s @$$ what he thinks – about me or anything else.
