Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Frankie Grande Headed To Broadway (PHOTOS)
|It looks like Frankie Grande of Big Brother 16 is headed back to what he knows best: Broadway! And in his dream role, as he has been cast as Franz in the Broadway production of Rock of Ages. Frankie had mix reactions during his time as a member of the Big Brother 2014 cast, but we all saw his over-the-top personality and Broadway is perfect for him. Get the details below in our Big Brother 2014 spoilers!
In an interview with People, Frankie talked about the casting news: “I’m so unbelievably excited. I have wanted to play Franz ever since I first saw the show. I think it is one of the best, funniest, most clever roles.”
We all heard about his time on Broadway, which he talked about a lot during his time living in the Big Brother 2014 house. Apparently he was close to booking this role a few times, but was never picked: “I’ve actually had three final callbacks since the show originally opened. Every time I made it down to the final two people, they went with the other guy. The first time I wasn’t blonde. The second time I was too blonde. The third time I was too short. That is how Broadway works. They have a surplus of actors, so they can be that picky.”
Frankie will star in Rock of Ages on Broadway from November 10 until January 18.
Congrats to Frankie and if you missed pictures of him, check him out from this past weekend, as he got done up as The Flamingo, from the comic book cover photos on Big Brother 16:

Hi Cat! Thanks for always thinking of me. Just a reminder Donny will be on The Bold and the Beautiful this Thursday and Friday everyone!
Thanks for the reminder. Won’t miss it!
Glad you reminded us. I totally forgot. Hope all is well with you Mary!
Hi J01! Thank you, everything is A-Ok with me. I hope all is well with you as well 🙂
All is well Mary, thank you. Did they ever finish working on your place?
I was talking to a friend of mine in my building today and he said he got a notice today that the plumbers would be in his place tomorrow to work on his bathroom pipes and he was so surprised as he thought they were finished. I thought I was finished as well but know I’m not sure. The ceilings in the walkway are still not fixed, it’s all pipes and wirers hanging down. Aren’t you glad you asked? hahaha 🙂
LOL of course. I hope they finish up for you soon. I know I would be annoyed with the duration of the inconvenience. They have been working in my neighborhood all summer on various things but besides the noise, parking and sometimes traffic re-routing it’s not too bad.
Shoot, still haven’t watched Fridays TAR. Will have to do that tonight after the Voice and chat with you about it tomorrow.
Thanks for the reminder Mary. 🙂
I can go the rest of my life without seeing any more photos of Frankie. That said, I’m tickled you posted this for us, Todd! I wish Frankie no ill-will and am pleased for him if this is something he wants to do. As I said many times, as much as Frankie annoyed me, his talent was undeniable. Looks like his gamble to spend three months locked in the BB house paid off in furthering his career. At least we don’t have to watch him headline everywhere as the winner of BB16!! That’s enough for me. Wonder if that photographer will do the same with BB16 hgs as he did with BB15 hgs…?
Happy Monday, y’all!
He mentioned having booked a lot of the BB16 HGs and other former HGs, but no photos have been posted yet.
Thanks, Todd. I’ll be watching….
🙂 🙂 :)!!!
OMG that roll is for sure for him. I hope we see what is going on with our other HG, I could have done without Frankenstein. Thanks Cat
I guess it just goes to show that there is a place for any personality, regardless of how disgusting the person may be.
Sighs! There is no accounting for bad taste.
I’m actually happy for him even though Frankie is not my cup of tea. Mainly because i prefer my tea with sugar. I can’t say he is talentless because that would be untrue. But his over the top personality prevents any enjoyment one might derive from those talents. What can i say. His egotistical, self-centered personna is one shared by most of Hollywood and Broadway. Shrinking violets are not the norm in that sort of business. Someday….in a galaxy far, far away….i might come to enjoy his performances. Until then, may the force be with him.
Cat, as always, you’ve put into words exactly my feelings about Frankie as well. Well said indeed!!!
Well said Cat and so true.
I agree completely. I hope he does well and stays on Broadway. I think that is the best place for him 🙂
Cat, did you try out for BBCanada????? 😉
Yea Cat, update please 🙂
I’m still working on my video. I should be finished with it soon. I just need to figure out how to end it.
Once I’m finished crossing my fingers that Ford isn’t elected, I’ll concentrate on crossing them for your getting on BB. I am sooo excited for you 🙂
Since I don’t live there, I’ll cross a few extra things for you…. 🙂
Thanks Lilly! Gee, we have so many wonderful, caring people here. Does the heart good 🙂
Mary,It certainly does, doesn’t it? After a very long day at the office and running errands, turning on the computer and finding/reading new posts from some of my favorite commenters… really does the heart good 🙂 🙂
I agree. I really enjoy seeing all the conversations on here.
I am sorry you have long days at the office…I could say I miss that but I DON’T…I go back once in awhile to meet the girls for lunch and watch them work and laugh and laugh and laugh.
Hahahaha!! Oh Janet you are so funny! 🙂
Oh you kinky lady.
Good luck Cat!
Just tell them you have a huge following on Todds site! USA & Canada 🙂 Instant celebrity lol.
Good luck Cat….will be saying some prayers for you 🙂
End it with you making a crossover to Survivor and placing Frankie, Victoria, Caleb to Exile Island with no mirrors.
LOL!!!
Good one! 🙂
That was well said Cat – Made your point without being degrading. That is why you are so good for this site! Thanks
Good morning gang, here is your morning funny. Have a super day.
A husband and wife were driving through Louisiana. As they approached Natchitoches, they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town. They argued back and forth, then they stopped for lunch. At the counter, the husband asked the blonde waitress, “Before we order, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are very slowly?” She leaned over the counter and said, “Burrr-gerrr Kiiing.”
LOL! 🙂
That put a smile on my face, Carol. Thx! And Happy Tuesday to you!
I am glad I made you smile Lilly. You have a nice day lady.
LMAO….Love it!
I can just hear it JO1 ” “Burrr-gerrr Kiiing.” so frigging funny
the funnier thing about that was I sent that joke to a few of my co-workers and I could hear a few of them saying it out loud like that! had me really laughing at work!!!
HAHAHA I love it. I also love the one with the grandma and her birth control I will post that one in a few
It was probably Cat who was working there at the time.
LMAO!! Janet, Cat’s going to get you for that.
I forgot to tell you Janet that you left behind your paper crown and pokemon card that came with your meal. That’s pronounced po-key-mon in case you’re confused 🙂
LOL!! Nice one Carol.
That is too funny…but probably true.
Good morning all, here is your morning funny. Thanks Mary
You have to love grandmas,
A Dr. had been seeing an 80 year old grandma most of her life, finally retired.
At her next checkup the Dr. asked her to bring a list of all her medications that had been prescribed for her, As the young Dr. looked thru these his eyes grew wide as he realized she had a prescription for birth control pills. “MRS SMITH do you realize these are BIRTH CONTROL PILLS” ?
” Yes they help me sleep at night”
Mrs. Smith I assure you there is absolutely nothing in these that can help you sleep at night.
She reached out and patted the young Dr. on the knee.
Yes dear I know that, but every morning I grind one up and mix it in a glass of orange juice that my 16 year old granddaughter drinks.
AND BELEIVE ME IT HELPS ME SLEEP AT NIGHT.
You got to love grandmas.
Cute! Not a bad idea, actually….
I thought the same thing lol
I like that.
