Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Live Feeds Recap – 9/22/2014
|We have one more full day of the live feeds on Big Brother 2014 and then it all comes to an end when the winner of Big Brother 16 is announced tomorrow night. There has never been more scheming and planning than there was yesterday in the Big Brother 2014 house! It ain’t over until Julie Chen announces the winner! What was all the scheming and planning??? The way they planned out that taco dinner they had together was SO intense. Phew, we were all on the edge of our seats just wondering who would get the cheese out of the refrigerator and who would have to cut up the tomatoes!
The HGs all started packing for their departure from the house, which was the first time all summer long that Derrick has had to pack! They talked about their families and them being at the finale and then the welcome home parties they would get. Victoria did some camera talking and said she has tried and is not giving up, even though it looks about 99.9% certain that Derrick and Cody will take each other to the F2.
It was the last night in the backyard for the HGs, as they will be on lockdown until the finale so production can build the set for Part 3 of the final HoH.
**SIDE NOTE: It was announced, but Dr. Will Kirby will return again during the Big Brother 16 finale and host the jury roundtable like he did last season. Ladies, you’re welcome!

That is right it is not over until Julie says who won. If Derrick takes Cody I really hope Cody wins. I seem to think Victoria is gone. She should have known that Derrick played her all season long. He has even said in front of people that he had a final two with Cody, did she not hear that. She needs to clean her ears out. I really don’t want Derrick to win but that is who hubby has picked after Donny left the house. He said Derrick was having everyone else do his dirty work ( which he is right) and picked them off one by one.
Hey Victoria doesn’t even know how to spell her own name. What makes you think she can catch on to anything that goes on.

I knew I should have watched some of the live feeds. It must have gotten really intense when they were planning that taco dinner and I missed it!! And, Todd, you didn’t even tell us what decisions they made! OK, it may be getting close to the end (thank you, reality show gods!) but that is no excuse for slacking off! 😉

Cat, that brought back so many memories of my middle school kids and how that phrase used to bring on such big laughs and cries of “it wasn’t me!”–thanks for the memories (no joke–said in all seriousness)

Just like Carol, I thought of you when I read the horrible news. Will be saying prayers for the families and friends of those killed in this tragedy.
So unbelievably sad that this is becoming far too common in our country. Yes, I know guns are part of it but I also believe a big factor is that we have become such a me-me, entitlement society that so many cannot deal with any kind of disappointment–they have no switch that turns on to help them deal with the ups and downs of life and the only thing left is revenge and “getting back” at the ones that they believe have made their lives miserable. And so often they have no family close by and no real friends–just superficial acquaintances–no one to help them let off steam before they explode.
And we are so lacking in mental health resources.
Unfortunately, I am basing some of this on my observation of some of the young people that I deal with when I am substitute teaching. There are a lot of angry young men and women out there.
Very good post Tessa. And all true. We seem to have forgotten the concept of “He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother”.

Thanks, Cat. I know I get on my soapbox about this kind of stuff but it is, to me, unbearably sad that our society seems to be becoming more and more “mean spirited.” I do so love that concept you quoted — also reminds me of that ole 60s song telling us to “get together and love everybody right now.” I don’t recall that it said we had to love everybody’s actions but it did imply that we are all in this together and need to live so we help, not hurt.

Thank you, Carol. I have told friends that I am becoming more and more thankful that I am not a young person trying to make my way in the world today. Never thought I would be grateful that my teachers actually expected us to do the work and behave in class and that my parents and most of the parents I knew way back then were pretty strict.
Heck yea. If I ever got out of line my dad made me paint the outside of the house. It had allot of paint on it trust me, I learned but the hard way. Today the younger generation will starve to death because they rely to much on their parents, and when they are gone no more meal ticket. Sad but true.
we have madeline o’haire to thank for this. Wonder what her last thoughts were when she was murdered.

My name is Susan and i just wanted to thank everyone here for keeping me upto date. i know i don’t post here a lot but i read the post everyday. so thank you all.
I wanted to say that i know this year has been boring. and i know a few things have been said that a few would like to take back. NOT Frankie he was awful. and i know the 3 people left might not really be the ones we want in the final 3. but i would take them over last years final 3 any day. at least i don’t think any of this years HG”S lost their jobs like last year. yes some will have to face their friends and family when they get out. but all and all i am happy if Derrick or Cody wins. not like last year when i threw something at my tv when Andy won LOL.

Someone … I agree! I’ve debated those who have compared this season to last year. NOTHING tops the frustration of last season. This season was boring. Last season was revolting. This season was full of lemmings; last season the house was full of vulgar human beings. BB15’s F3 were lazy, deplorable, immature people who had no BB game. Derrick may have manipulated others to do his bidding, but what he has accomplished took skill compared to what Andy did. Instead of staying engaged and making moves through others (like Derrick), Andy jumped from power to power, revealing everyone ELSE’s game to others as he stepped over their BB “dead” bodies to take the prize at the end.
The only thing I can picture being worse last season is if Donny had been subjected to THAT catastrophe!
Nope. Nothing this year compares to my frustration and anger last season. Nothing.
Hi, Susan! Hope you will stick around and post more. I agree that last season was appalling, vulgar, mean-spirited, etc. etc. and the racist comments were deplorable. I could not stand the way Candace was treated. This year was for me just mainly dull and predictable. Neither year was much fun but I would certainly take dull over nasty and vulgar any day!
