|What a weekend we have seen in the Big Brother 2014 house, as these HGs are messing with our emotions big time and we are sick of it! You never know what to expect and that was the case heading into the Veto Meeting on Big Brother 16 for Week 7. We definitely knew it would be used, but who would be put up as the renom and where does the true target lie for Week 7? In case you missed any of our Big Brother 2014 spoilers, lets get you caught up:
- Nicole and Christine won Head of Household for the week and their nominees were Frankie & Caleb and Zach & Donny
- Caleb and Frankie won the Battle of the Block competition, which meant they were off the block and Nicole was dethroned as HoH for her nominees winning
- Christine is the lone HoH for Week 7 and Donny and Zach remained on the block
- Zach turned around and won the Power of Veto competition

The plan from yesterday was played out and Zach used the veto on himself and Christine put Nicole up as the renom. It looks like Nicole is not happy and telling Donny that the jury is 0-3 for Christine right now, which is so true. Christine is making stupid moves, but hey, the guys are feeding her ego and she is dumb!

More likely a competition will take place for which juror will return. But i’ve seen a fan vote be implemented in some previous years. Doubt they would do that anymore though. I think last year set a precedent for future return jurors. They will be decided by competitions. Which in my book is a fairer way of doing it. Although there’s risk involved that the worst possible person to reenter could win.

i will be sad to see donna go, Nicole almost had got it right. If only Caleb had shut up, played the game and thrown the game Nicole my be sitting pretty as hoh

sad news today…..I am ready for some good news, this week has been too crazy
If Nicole is sent to jury house, she will be able to continue her showmance with Hayden. How cute….. Hopefully Donny will be able to escape eviction once again. How many times has he been on the block and escaped?
He is good at getting through, but I fear he is going this week or next if he doesn’t win HOH since he has no alliance…..
But, there are still two girls left depending on who is the next HOH….
Well if Nicole goes that leaves Christine and Victoria. Christine can’t play for next HOH and Victoria….can’t play for sh*t. So once again that would leave the guys in charge. I’m tempted to sleep until they hand Derrick the check.

Don’t go to sleep yet! With the guys in charge, will they turn on each other before the girls? How would Derrick explain that to Victoria? Or Frankie to Christine? Hopefully it will get interesting….
i would love to see donny with a check but i thin it will come down to Frankie and Derrick….gotta give it up for Frankie…talk about survivor.

I think Donny will survive this week. If he does, I hope he wins HOH. I think he would nominate Frankie and Zach.
At this point – i agree with you. With the exception of Zach as one of his noms. Frankie most definitely. But i’m still debating on who i think the other will be. He has expressed that he thinks Derrick is running everything but whether that translates into a nomination is yet to be seen.
I would give a lot to see Donnie win hoh at least once. Not just for his safety but to see him have a say for once in what really happens in that house!

Donny is one of a kind. My family watches BB every year. We enjoy playing along. When Hayden was evicted and Nicole was blindsighted last week, I told my family Donny wouldn’t just sit back and watch everyone attack Nicole. I knew he would only allow it to go so far before he stepped in at her defense, and I was right. That’s exactly what he did.
I have been watching as well since season 1 Kyle. Donny is just a good old country boy with morals, and the other HG should learn from him. Like Lilly said I would love for him to get HOH

I am soooooo glad that Nicole is on the block and hopefully she goes this week – if i have to listen to that nasely whiney voice any longer I think i will go insane – lol. But I think Donny or Christine should definately be next.
I have no problem getting past the nasely whiney voice (and i admit that it is). Why? Because she’s the only hope i have of getting Derrick out of the house. He’s playing a good game. And normally i love strategic players. But call it a gut feeling (with a bit of evidence to back it up) i feel we are getting played. And this really piss*s me off. So for me…i see a Nicole eviction as handing Derrick a check with an opt out form from the rest of them. A foregone conclusion unless the others grow a set. And that set would have to be made of steel.
Oh but I do like Derik / I do not think getting rid of Nicole is handing Derik a cheque however as he may be smart in playing the game but he is not very good at comps or so we havent seen him play that many…………so once we get rid of Nicole / Christine and Donny then he will have to start playing in order to stay as the numbers will be a turning – he cant get the $$$$$$ if he cant win the comps. I do believe that Zach and Caleb are stronger in the competitions.
Derrick can win comps. He handed Frankie a comp win (one that he actually could have won) because of Frankies desire to make his Grandfather proud that week. He also has won an HOH. Granted he hasn’t played in as many comps as Zach and Caleb. But how do we know he isn’t just throwing the comps in order to keep blood off his hands. He implied such the other day. Whether it was just bs or not i have no idea. I’m in agreement with you that if he makes it to F2 he deserves the win. How proud of that accomplishment he should be is suspect though. After all isn’t this pretty much a normal day at the office? Only instead of hard core perps he’s dealing with naive little 20 somethings. Most of us have our favorites. Yours may be Derrick but i can honestly say i don’t really have one. There are a couple i would like outside of the house but inside is a different story. But one thing i can say with complete certainty. Derrick is not among those that i would welcome into my circle of friends. I could never trust him.

Yeah I guess that Derrick is probably throwing the comps so he doesn’t get blood on his hands but again isn’t that kind of the name of the game? How smart and who can outwit the others – he hasn’t been caught in his little lies yet like the rest of them and he has actually stuck loyal to Cody (well for now – lol) if he makes it to the final 3 he will dump Cody and will keep Victoria (if she can last that long). Because he will win with her beside him. So yes I do think he is playing a very good game / he sits back he listens he watches and does what he needs to (quietly and sneaky)
So this week NICOLE must goooooooooooo and then Christine and then Donny – LOL.
I really have my favorites and they are Derrick / Zach and Caleb (only cause he is kind of a redneck kind of guy)……………..the rest I don’t care for at all. Derrick because he is playing a smart game / Zach because he just loses it now and then and makes me laugh at what comes out of his mouth at times and Caleb (see above)…………LOL

I agree that Derrick will keep Victoria over Cody. Although in my estimation he could beat either one of them. At first i didn’t like Zach but now i think he spices the game up a bit. I have a problem with Calebs ego but he is winning comps and maybe….just maybe mind you….he has a bit more game than most people thought (although he still makes some of the stupidest comments on the planet). You and i are sometimes on opposite sides Morningwitch. But we always have a good time debating the issues. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree about Derrick. I’m just disappointed they put a professional in with a bunch of amateurs. And i wish he would also stop using the fact that he has a daughter (like Devin but with much less frequency) to guilt people into things. Tacky.
How old is Caleb…he is either a good actor or one of the dumbest people I have seen.
Derrick just sits back and listens to everybody and then he plays everybody. And he really can’t win anything. He doesn’t play in the comps and the one’s he plays in he loses. I don’t think he throws them. He is in 59 alliances. I like Donny and hope he doesn’t go home. I think he really sees what is going on but really doesn’t do him any good. The rest are just to crazy to realize it. And he hasn’t been in a position to make a move. Nicole made a move this week but it didn’t do her any good. The rest just plain talk way to much and try to get everybody else to do there dirty work. And if they don’t they want that person out of the house.

It is interesting to note that Donnie and Nicole were talking the other night about how they believe Derrick is really running things, but they also wondered out loud if Derrick was throwing comps so as not to appear a threat.
What makes you think they can grow a set…they don’t even know what that is..another wasted year of losers winning.
I will agree that Nicole’s nasally voice is hard to take at times, but I like her and would like her to stay over people like Frankie, Zach, Christine, Derrick and Victoria. I’d like to see Nicole, Donnny, Cody and Caleb as the F4. With that said, I’d be fine with anyone of those four winning BB16. Truth be told though, I think if Derrick makes it to F2, he deserves to win.
Nichole is just a kid, her voice has not changed yet. Beats the hey out of Frankie.
I admit Nicole’s nasally tone gets under my skin. But she is playing the game pretty well (except she’s just too trusting), and she strikes me as a pretty decent person.

I just couldn’t understand why anyone would want Nicole to lose just because of her voice. She is a lovely girl, full of passion, kindness and caring for people and to think someone, anyone thinks she should be voted out just because of her voice is mean, hateful and a bully and I have no respect for someone like that whatsoever. Just my opinion.

I think you know who just wants Donny and Nicole gone, because they want to play the game…but don’t have enough smart people left in the house to help them…they are the only ones willing to shake things up.

Yes, I agree that her voice is rather nasally but I don’t see that as showing she is used to getting her way. I am sure she is just extremely frustrated and she has been treated badly and lied to by people she unfortunately trusted. Zach’s comments to her, for example, were needlessly mean and Hayden’s eviction was very difficult for her, too. It was also very difficult for me to watch. She is stronger than I am. If I been lied to and treated the way she has been treated, I would be balled un in a corner crying my eyes out. And it does seem to be that after they stuck the knives in her, they kept moving them around and pushing them in even further. Totally unnecessary.

Well we’ve had Jocasta and Hayden sent to jury. Plus whoever goes this week (probably Nicole). That makes 3 but i’m betting once we get the 4th jury member…or they possibly might let it get to the 5th….we will see a return of one of them.

I think Nicole is too gullible to play this game. She really can’t be that naive could she? I hope Frankie votes Christine out! Wouldn’t that be funny? Then Veronica could vote out Derrick LOL, LOL. I hope Donny wins. He is a man of principal and won’t stoop as low as the others do to play this game. Does anyone else think that BB production staff is controlling who goes?
BB production controlling the game has been a big topic since season 1. I think they have some control, but not complete control. They can’t control the outcome of the comps. They can push certain people to the center of the stage for ratings, but I personally don’t think they can predict the winner. They can set it up, but again, the comps are what matter. Most people complain about too much control from production when they’re favorite HG is losing…haha. I myself have been guilty of ranting against BB production in the past. Again, this is my personal opinion.
You make a very good and accurate point. There is an exception, IMHO, BB16!

I suppose you can call her gullible…or too trusting. Or even a bit naive. But i find that most of them this year are that way. Look at all the backdoors and blindsides we have witnessed. All the changes of heart once a different person whispers in the other ear. It keeps the game a little more suspenseful i suppose. But personally, i’d call them illogical. They seem incapable of putting a series of events together to come to a logical conclusion. As for production interference….Shirene said it best. I completely agree with her.
I’m not sure how we fans can expect Nicole or anyone else in that house, frankly, to know who to trust when everyone in there changes their story and their loyalties every other minute! THEY don’t know what the truth is – with the exceptions of Donnie and maybe Derrick, for opposite reasons!

I am glad some of the reports yesterday were making it very clear that it is a “disease” and not just the normal blues.
Yes, it most definitely IS a disease.
One of my doctors told me he gets very annoyed when people say, “Just snap out of it!” He noted that people would never tell someone with cancer to just snap out of it–our physical body isn’t the only part of us that can be sick.
It did with me, also, mrk. And as a person who also suffers with depression, I am thankful to God every day that I have not ever seriously considered suicide. Depression is deep, dark hole and unfortunately many sufferers see no way out. It is no respecter of persons–rich and poor, young and old, all races, etc. are its victims.
I know about depression all to well. My best wishes are with you Tessa.
And mine to you, Mary. I don’t know if it is a friend, family member or even you who is the sufferer, but everyone around the depressed person is affected–the feeling of being helpless to take it away is so horrible for friends and family.

Not enough room in my body to hold all the regret i have for voting for Derrick and Frankie to be part of TA. I hated this twist to start with. But was willing to think positive in the beginning. And i’m still positIve…..POSITIVE THAT IT SUCKS!!!! What idiot at CBS decided we (fans) should have our own team??? And then made the choices for missions something that we as fans would NEVER ask them to do!!! It’s hard enough in the BB house without having someone who is NOT in the game decide your next move. And have suspicion thrown upon you in the process!! They don’t have each others backs (especially Donnys) so how can you call that a team? It’s basically 3 people forced to work together to do the silliest and most suspicious things in order to fool fans into thinking they are part of the game and most importantly….to boost ratings. If you could see me right now CBS you would notice i’m giving you what you deserve for this twist……the finger.

One thing that should make you smile: Christine will be in total shock at how she is hated after she leaves the house. That was my one and only consolation after last season is those hgs having to deal with the fallout of their time in the house. Small consolation, but a bit.
