He had a twin move in (Julia) that did not like him and he somehow managed to get her on his side and seems to have gotten Liz to maybe like him. He has a power threesome there, if only they would use it for the good and not just to get to jury!
3. Meg
We finally saw some fire from the good side of the house and Meg showed she does have a brain up there. She also seems to be off everyone’s radar, as Jackie and James are always mentioned, but not Meg. If Clay does stay, I think he could warm up to Meg and that could be a number for them, if he can be trusted.

I agree except for John. I’d put him at #9. He’s almost as clueless as Steve is. Especially now that Vanessa has put a target on his back.
Yeah, but I still like him and had to have him higher than Vanessa and Shelli lol
I still like him too..lol. But Van and Shelli are at least SOMEWHAT aware of the house dynamics. He is not. If it was rankings in terms of personality, he’d be my #1. But since it’s gameplay, i stick to my #9.
I still like him too so I hope he wise up to what is really going in the house.
I like John but we need to see the other side that his family was talking about instead of the goofiness he is known for.

I think Vanessa should be higher. She seems to have control of every one but Meg, Jackie and James…so I’d put her at #4. I don’t understand why they listen to her craziness but she’s convinced them that she knows what she’s talking about and that she is the most loyal and trustworthy HGs in there. Little do they all know she’s just talking them in circles of lies.
I find it interesting that this week I heard THREE of the floater-pawns (John, Becky & Steve, separate convos) talk in shocked tones about how they were NOT floating. News flash: You may be aligned with the power in the house at the moment, but you’re not gonna see it coming when that power takes you out – any more than Jason did. John or Becky win HoH, and they’ll take out one of the three people who would honestly align with them to a F5 – either because Vanessa controls them period, or they will allow her to run their HoH.
I truly wish I had some others’s confidence that Vanessa or her game are bound to implode or explode soon. The way I see it, now matter how she has to shuffle her plan if Shelli leaves soon, she will make it at least to F4, and if she does, the other three are toast. Another hg I truly can’t stand takes home the $$. I guess I’m listening to my alter ego (Negative Nancy) too much since Van glued the remnants of 6sense together this week. There’s no stopping her because no one distrusts her enough – or has the confidence – to take her out. Even the ones who have her on their radar think they have time. They don’t.
John and Becky did talk and it seems like they are wanting to align with James, Jackie and Meg. Becky said just to be a lower target and she was in the HOH room all night with them and very early this morning yacking James’ ear off. Not sure if it is legit, but it could help. They don’t seem to trust Chelli. Becky did, however, talk about taking someone else out, like Steve. They both hate each other!
I saw that convo with Becky and John, I think, yesterday afternoon. Her main complaint was that Chelli always wanted information from her/them, but it isn’t a two-way street. They also agree with the rest of the house that Chelli was too ready to throw EVERYONE else under the bus with Jason to save themselves. Why they can’t see that keeping Shelli doesn’t help their game (and by extension they are just voting because Van said to) is beyond me. The only certainty I took from that conversation, though, is that the two of them only trust each other. Peachy. The two of you aren’t going to get much farther that way. But Becky was quizzing John on game facts (like “who won the third HoH?” etc.). Maybe one of them will pull it off and we’ll actually get to see what they’re made of!
I do think our only hope is Jackie or Meg winning. Jackie is a sure thing to go after Vanessa, she already said it. I am nervous, but hoping for the best and hoping these people wise up before tomorrow night!
They’ve become a voting block. Just like the twins. Only less effective in their strategy. As for everyone else….they can’t see the forest for the trees. I thought James was going to be our Paul Bunyon but he’s more like Johnny Appleseed. Replacing the trees as fast as they are cut down.
Yes but John said his target is Jackie and Becky said Austin and the twins. How can you have an alliance when you don’t agree on the threat?!!
Very true and I saw John talking to Chelli last night and I muted it! I just can’t take how stupid some of them are and how naive they are being.
I agree. This house is just full of floater/rat/pawns! James/Met/Jackie were slapped into action last week. I think whatever concessions James is making now is to try to lessen the target on his back when he can’t play for HoH. But then there is the mushy middle – Becky/John/Steve – who just do whatever is the path of least resistance. Even the side that’s playing the game just does what Vanessa tells them to do. The ONLY hope we have for Vanessa not controlling the nominations/eviction next week is Jackie or Meg because everyone else will allow Van in their head.
I do think Vanessa needs to be higher in the rank than #8 she is bat S*#t crazy but watching her last night talking to King Kong and the Fay Wray’s was amazing. I do not know if she was successful but the tiny brain threesome seemed memorized by the stuff she was coming up with . It will be interesting if Shelli stays in where she will fall. Vanessa will of course pull the “I saved you” card and pull her in further into the web of craziness.

To love that James won POV, but, instead of keeping the moms the same, he should have used the veto on Clay and put Liz up as a pawn. Shelli would definitely be sent home as Austin and Julia would vote to evict her over Liz. With that, they would get the 5 votes they need.
I love that James won POV, but, but, instead of keeping the nominees the same,meh should have used the veto on Clay and used Liz as a replacement. That would insure that Shelli was evicted. You know that Austin and Julia would cast to evict Shelli, and you hav Jackie, Becky and Meg also voting to evict Shelli, James made the comment that only 5votes were needed to evict Shelli, strategically, this would have made more sense. Forcing two people to vote the way you want them to gets results, besides, he does have a reason to put Liz up as she did put him up and telling her that she is a pawn and this is her way to get out of him actually putting her up as a real nomination, as payback, would guarantee Austin and Julia’s votes.
