Big Brother Over the Top. Spoilers: Week 1 Safety Ceremony Results Part 1
|One of the major Big Brother Over the Top changes involves a Safety Ceremony. The Safety Ceremonies involve all of the remaining Big Brother Over the Top houseguests wearing sort of tag necklaces. All the BBOTT houseguests start with white tags.
Meanwhile, the head of household remains upstairs to make a certain number of houseguests safe. If a Big Brother Over the Top houseguest is safe for the week, his or her tag turns green. There are two Big Brother Over the Top safety ceremonies each week.
They occur on Saturday and Sunday. Last night, the Big Brother Over the Top viewers witnessed the first Safety Ceremony. It was a blend of awkwardness and intrigue. Current BBOTT Head of Household Monte Massongill started the ceremony by making Neeley Jackson safe.
From there, he also made Whitney Hogg, Morgan Willett, Shane Chapman, and Cornbread safe from nominations this week. However, they are still eligible to go up after the Power of Veto competition. They also could go up as America’s third nominee.
The Big Brother Over the Top houseguests still working for safety are Shelby Stockton, Jason Roy, Kryssie Ridolfi, Alex Willett, Justin Duncan, Danielle Lickey, and Scott Dennis. Only two of the Big Brother Over the Top houseguests will not turn green.
At 7PM PT/10 EST, the second Safety Ceremony takes place (which happens for 30 minutes), and then this week’s nominees will be revealed. Right now, the target is Jason, so he should be one of the final two nominees but some whispers may shift the target away from Jason.

Jason hasn’t changed his game plan from his first season. Yeah he had a nice chat with Monte before the Safety Ceremony but that’s not enough to convince me that he learned anything. I still see the same old Jason sitting on the outside couch, smoking like a freight train and holding court like he’s king of the castle. His alliance members each chose a person to follow or keep an eye on. So who was his “person”? Nobody. His job is to stay firmly planted on the couch and have people come to him. Except the only people coming to him is his alliance members and they withhold information (as they should). He already has enemies and knows it but isn’t trying to manipulate them or convince them they can work together. He has chosen his ride or die (Kryssie) and that’s that. He may not get evicted this round but his loud yakking and “let me tell you about me because i’m the important one” attitude is grating on me.
He’s definitely a one-note samba!
