Big Brother 14 Week 4 House of Lies
|My mama used to tell me–when I’d get one of those irritating bumps on my tongue–that it meant I’d been telling lies. Well, if that old wives-tale is true, then I don’t know how the folks in the Big Brother 14 house can close their mouths. They must have bumps the size of small puppies.
Now, though I do my best to give you all the facts and happenings of the house, I don’t pretend to give an unbiased account. I can only tell you what I see. Auntie Janet’s version of events. I say all that to say this…I’m no Janelle fan. Not in her previous incarnations nor in this season. Yes, at least in Season 6 and 7, you could respect her as a player. This year…her gameplay is thisclose to pathetic. She probably should’ve quit at her peak. While she was ahead.
I just said all THAT to say THIS. The girl deserves to know the truth. I know, I know, the Jani haters out there (and I’m not a hater, just *shrug* meh..about her) want to see her face on Eviction night when the votes she thinks are in the bag turn out an 8-1 against her. But it’s kind of like seeing an aging boxer get the crap beat out of them in the ring by a younger, sprier champ. I admit. The Big Brother fan in me wants it, too. I mean, come on. It’s what we wait all season for, right?? And yet, the human in me thinks a BB player of Janelle’s magnitude at least deserves to know she’s going home.
So– that’s my vote. Tell her she’s going. Cause right now– the only one not flat-out lying is raging chef Joe. And he’d sell her out in a heartbeat, only the rest of the house is keeping it from him, to hang him out and get him next week. Only Ashley voiced intent to tell Janelle the truth on Wednesday (PSST That’s today, guys). But if Ashley tells, the whole lie unravels…
STAY CLOSE TO THOSE FEEDS KIDS!! Janelle is EXTREMELY suspicious. Once Ash tells her the truth about her (Ash’s) vote- it’s gonna all crumble– We could see Big Blonde rip through that house like a tornado through a trailer park once she figures out they’re all lying.
Not much else to report in the Big Brother 14 House last night. Danielle’s stories keep getting bigger each time she tells them. Team Tits is drawing closer than ever. The Silent Six have stayed apart in body, but together in spirit. And Ian?? Hell, Ian’s in the best spot in the house. An annex of each of the BIG TWO alliances, yet not committed on either side. Smart kid..

Janet i am with you,, The girl deserves to know the truth…I can’t stand the way some of them promise her their vote like Wil Kissing her and promising his vote on his dogs life..granted he had his fingers crossed.. but still how ruthless can you get,,..she did save his A$$.whether he wants to admit it or not….I genuinely feel like Brithany and Ashley feel bad about not telling her.. And Danellie is blowing everything out of porportion about what Janelle says to her.. I am beginning to not like her.,,, Tell her already –its just not right.. I agree with Susan, man up and tell her !! i cant stand Daneille and hope they get rid of her next week. Janelle is still my favorite and when shes gone i am too ! This season has been dissapointing !!
gag me with a spoon already !!! sticking up for Janelle? Please.. she is the biggest coniever in the BB house, and if she caresses the camaras one more time , while talking ( or rather lying) to another houseguest, I am going to barf. she thinks she is the hottest thing going…not !!
and as back stabbing as she has been, she deserves to be blindsided. and noone in the house should feel bad about it.
playing game is cool.. but, do it honest and above board.. if you say something..admit and go on.. continue game playing.
while we all admit her game play hasn’t been that great this year–she is a seasoned veteran and deserves some respect….
In my humble opinion.. ya give respect you’ll get it back !! Simple as that.. she may deserve respect for being a seasoned player, that I agree with.. but, she blew it when she walked in the BB house with her ” holier than thou attitude” and ” look at me aren’t I just the most gorgeous blondie you’ve ever come across?” and can she ever put on the fake, from the supposidly tear with Will, to blubbering all over Britt & Danielle.
Once she goes and then big mouth Joe… maybe the game playing will be all stradergy and not underhaned lying and back stabing.
Outwitting players is cool, but do it up and above board
Geraldine, I don’t believe ANYONE has ever played BB honestly and above board!! Even the ones who go into it with scruples and vow not to lie or cheat, end up doing all that & more eventually. It’s the nature of the game!! have you been watching the same show I’ve been watching for the past 14 seasons?!?!?
you know what Mo.. I sincerely owe you an apology, as I have only watched 2 episodes of BB last season and this one.. I guess I just singled out the blond bimbo, her attitude rubbed me the wrong way. But, I do stick to my opinion of Janelle.

I think Janelle, should be told she is going home, I admit I do not like the way she played this year, the others lie as well, get the Danielle out of the house, she stinks and she is lying to protect herself, All of the coaches need to go especially Boogie, I never did like him in the other seasons, you can see devil horns if you have ESP. Janelle is having a hormone problem this year and needs to get off the pill.
Well all I got to say is When you going to call out someone for lying then take a look in the mirror Daneille because you are full of lies and I am so ready for her to be walking out the door too. She started lying when she enter in the house I am a school teacher bullshit you are a nurse…
It’s not about whether Janelle thinks shes beautiful…or even if WE think she is. It’s about the fact that in the past she won HOHs and vetos like no one ever before…and under great pressure i might add. THIS deserves some respect whether or not you like her. So you want them to be honest and above board as they play the game?…BB is NOT a game about honesty. It’s a game about strategy and survival of the fittest. BUT…once the die is cast and the vote set in stone there is no need to further your deception. Tell the girl already!! This will be her last hurrah i’m sure. Let her go down in BB history as the monumental player we all knew her as.
my point exactually–i think at least one of the coaches should tell her out of respect and just as i am typing this Dan is telling Booige he thinks they should tell her and of course booige is not on board and Dan said we should tell out of coaches respect… You go Dan and don’t listen to Booige ,,do the right thing..at least let her be perpared..we all know shes going out and why but give the girl just a little bit of dignity and respect…and i agree with Cat–she is a monumental player no matter what shes done this season…
I do not like danielle now she is a jealous pig,and shame does not won’t nothing to do with her only when she has a little power shebonly wonts janielle out so all will say that the little southern belle got out the infamous janelle…wish she would go she makes me sick…..
Why should anyone tell janelle? It’s a game!!! Where The object is to be the last person standing not the nicest person. The only way to win this game is with a little scheming. Let it play out , and apologize later that it was only a game and nothing personal
Yes, it’s only a game. And you’re right…the object is to be the last person standing. But the whole thing reminds me of a person that lies and then lies to cover that lie and lies to cover that lie and so on and so forth. What’s the point? It doesn’t help their game ANY. She won’t be part of the jury. And who knows…maybe if the other HG see that you’re honorable enough to tell the evictee that she’s going then you might be trustworthy enough to tell them if a blindside is coming their way. It could potentially help your game. You don’t have to be ruthless to win. Just strategic.
I agree and Janelle is a player. She, of all people, should understand how this game is played. If anything, she should have admiration for those who evicted her and kept it such a secret. Let’s face it, most times secrets get out in the BB house. The Jason/Danielle(season3, but neither won), The Brigade(season 12,but the booted Matt)and of course, Dan and Memphis are probably the best kept secrets in BB history.

I think they’ll tell her. And she should accept it, if she wants to preserve any dignity she has left. We’ll soon see..

I would love to see Janelle get the votes to stay and see the smug look whiped off boogies’ face when he realizes that he was played. If anyone remembers boogie from any of his seasons, he lied and manipulated everyone in sight. Do these idiot he is playing with even watch the show. Janelle gives her all in the comps, and if she was going out the least they could have is let her play in the veto.
I once again think these houseguests are dumber than the season before. WHY get rid of Janelle when she is obviously playing this game alone. Leave Frank and Boogie and Frank wins the game. They already got an alliance of 4 to vote the way they wanted and create what will be a very short alliance of 6.
You got that right, there will be no alliance of six in a couple of weeks, game is one half over so they say, what a mess is coming in the next four weeks, wow !!! Boogie is devious as in previous seasons, and Frank I do not trust, I trust those two almost as much as I trust a Pirahna, the fun will begin. The players will soon learn of those two.
