Big Brother 19 Live Feeds Recap: Week 4 – Friday
|Last night the Big Brother 19 feeds came back up after more than a 36 hour blackout period in preparation for the Battle Back. When they came up, we found out who won HOH and who the noms were and we were all left scratching our heads a little. Or at least I was. Find out why with my Big Brother 2017 spoilers right here!
With Jessica not only being HOH this week, she has her boyfriend back in the house AND she has the Halting Hex temptation. You would expect her to make a big, bold move knowing that she doesn’t have to worry about retaliation from it. Keep reading my Big Brother live feeds recap to find out what move she made.
Feeds came back up at 9:04PM BBT, four minutes after BBAD started, which was a little annoying to say the least. We watched 15 minutes of Jessica and Cody making out before we could even verify that Jessica was the HOH and then found out that her noms were Josh and Ramses. Which apparently aired on BBAD right before the feeds came back up.
Paul comes upstairs to thank Jessica. This could have been for not putting him on the block or for putting his targets up there. Who really knows with Paul? He also tells Jessica and Cody that the house seems to be on board with getting Josh out of the house this week. Now, I agree that Josh has to go at some point, but is this really a power move?
Meanwhile, Christmas, Matt and Raven are talking about trying to save Josh from eviction and building some kind of alliance with him. Later, Christmas is talking to Alex about wanting to keep Josh in the house as well and that’s where Paul enters the conversation. He is telling them that he wants to keep Josh and get rid of Ramses this week also. This is going to be an interesting week.
Later, Paul and Mark are talking and they are worried about what the curse could be. Julie said she would be announcing this on Thursday so it’s safe to say that it had nothing to do with Cody returning to the game. Mark and Paul are wondering if it’s going to be a reset week and then a double eviction, but wonder if they would do that right after a Battle Back. Mark is really hoping that the plan is to get Josh out this week, but he could end up disappointed along with Jessica and Cody.
There is a lot of chatter between the HGs about Jessica having the temptation this week. A lot of them found it weird that she knew someone would be coming back into the house. If the Halting Hex had nothing to do with Cody coming back into the house, how would she know it. Also, Paul had been talking about the possibility of a Battle Back since the Veto Players were announced last week. She may have been just going by what she heard him and others talking about.
I was really hoping for a big explosive night on the Big Brother 19 feeds, but instead we have a bunch of the HGs quietly planning something. I can’t wait to see how this plays out this week. What do you think about the plan to keep Josh and get rid of Ramses even though it is clearly not what Jessica and Cody want? Let me know!

Sometimes “quietly planning” can be more fun than outright explosive behavior. Especially when it gets to eviction night. For me, the Veto will tell the tale. It will make intentions clear. Is this a BD waiting to happen or a week of mending fences with the rest of the house? By nominating 2 people that the whole house wants out Jessica (and Cody) earns brownie points with the rest of the house. Even though their target is Josh, she still put 2 hgs up that are lined up for the chopping block anyway. If she had outright nommed Paul, whoever was sitting next to him would be walking the plank. Right now he has THAT much sway in the house. I suspect he won’t be leaving anytime soon unless he gets caught in his web of lies. Do these people not realize that a VET won last year?!! Jessica has the HH and is saving it for hard times. In 2 weeks time (is this how long she has to use it?), the house will be pared down a bit more and this is where the rubber meets the road. One or both will likely be put up for eviction (within the 2 weeks). Her safety net will come in handy. If Cody happens to win the next HOH, all the better for them. That means another week of safety with the HH in her back pocket. Either way, they will be around this week and next and ANYTHING can happen between that time period. Especially since we don’t know what the curse will be. I hope it’s not something lame like everyone being on slop for the week. We shall see. I still have hope that it will be game changing. Hope springs eternal.

I think maybe Paul will end up on the block. Then of course Paul would have enough people on his side. But somehow that HEX will come into play
I suppose it’s possible that next week Cody and Paul are on the block together. Someone other than Cody or Paul could get HOH. Jessica would have to save them BOTH! How’s THAT for a downer!! That particular scenario would make divisions in the house even deeper.
I wanted Cody to return to the game to stir things up and go after Paul. I was upset when the feeds came back on to see him and Jessica isolating themselves from the other HG’s. That didn’t work out well last time.
Why is everyone sucking up to Paul? As you said, a Vet Won Last Year! And Paul came in second! Are the HG’s thinking Paul really has their best interests at heart?
Yes but he only got $50,000 I guess they feel he deserves more. I hate it so much they brought him back, it sucks!
Hope springs eternal…..it does with the help of Kool-Aid…just stopped raining and thunder and lightning here…but it is so dam muggy…we were watching it get darker and knew it was going to storm…but within a couple of minutes we looked out the window and I swear I never saw it look so dark…it looked like it was about midnight outside…if the noms stay the same I am happy with either one going home….but I would love to see Josh and Cody go at it.
It’s muggy here too, just not stormy. Do you have your ruby red slippers on just in case? You could get blown over the BB house. If so, drop some Kool-Aid in because they haven’t had any yet this season. It could cause worlds to collide.
Wow, could you imagine Josh drinking Kool-Aid…he babbles so much now, I wonder what he would sound like.
