The first week’s Power of Veto events for Big Brother 2009 are already underway. First up was the selection of players for the competition.
Jessie, Chima, and Lydia were all included.
Jeff, Russell, and Natalie were selected and will join in the battle.
The results are back and Russell was the winner. Will he use it to save Chima or Lydia? We’ll know soon.
Updated info - Russell has decided to use the Veto and save Lydia. Now Braden and Chima are on the block. One of them will be evicted this week.

I totally agree with Eve - Russell poses at every camera he sees, makes me nausious.
Russell is soooo HOT!!!! And he is super smart to boot!!! He can stare at the mirror all day with all that hottness!
I really hope that Lydia stays!!! NO ONE wants Chima to stay! She’s already dug herself a hole by annoying the hell out of all the houseguests!!! I know Jessie can’t be evicted next week, so I really really hope he gets his a** sent home week #3!!!
watched showtime last night and talk about being vulgar……what is wrong with jordan that she has to be talking sex all the time. the whole evening was really nasty with her mouth going on and on. enough is enough. even big brother had to shoot to a different area.
this girl has definately been either sexually abused as a child or raised to be too open about privacy matters. between her and jeff with his f word every third word they made a pair. a little of all that goes a long way
What the hell is wrong with Russell, is he really that full of himself that he thinks it is ok to go off for no real reason at all. What an ass, he totally turned me off to the show last night.
I am a HUGE BB fan, have watched all the seasons but this season is about to BORE ME TO DEATH. I purposely subscribed to Showtime so I could watch the BB AfterDark….TOTAL YAWN!!! These people don’t discuss game or strategy and all they do is lay around and wait for BB to provide more booze……PLEASE BB GIVE THEM MORE ALCOHOL MAYBE THEN THEY MAY DO SOMETHING WORTH WATCHING!!!
and YES….Russell is an OVER-STUFFED BULLY!!! I hope he gets evicted soon….tired of listening to him!!!
If that repugnant, self absorbed , donkey’s rear doesn’t get voted off soon this will be the first time I don’t watch since the first Big Brother. It was a bad choice to even have him as a possible returnee…poor programing…a gay guy told me he thinks he is gay…don’t know don’t care just get him OFF!!!!
