Big Brother 2011- Oh what Dangerous things are Mouths.
|Sometimes we must learn hard lessons about keeping our mouths shut. And sometimes, it’s when we open them that the opportunity to learn something presents itself. On the Big Brother 2011 Live Feeds last night–as we reported in our last post–Jeff put his foot in his mouth big-time when he went on a rant about–again, of all things–Albus Dumbledore, from the Harry Potter series. For a fictional character, Dumbledore has caused more controversy than two Kardashians and a Lohan put together. Jeff’s comments about Dumbledore’s homosexuality enraged some Live Feed viewers, prompting CBS to issue this statement.
“Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 — and seeing every moment of their lives. At times, the Houseguests make comments, reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on BIG BROTHER, either on any live feed from the House or the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program.”
The HG’s grow quickly immune to the fact that they are surrounded by cameras. That’s made obvious by the fact that so many people subscribe to the Live Feeds. If the HG’s were guarded all the time, they’d be no fun to watch. That’s why we love them– What other chance do you get to watch people in a fishbowl, living under extreme-social conditions, fighting, falling in love and yes–sometimes (actually often) screwing up–badly?
Jeff put his foot in his mouth. Big Time. But he apologized to Kalia–who has a gay sister. Kalia even told Lawon–a bisexual–that she and Jeff had an argument, but not what it was about. I find that very interesting. In any case, Jeff and Kalia are friends again. 
Kalia forgave him, and Jeff realized the error of his actions. Nuff said..

The Big Brother 2011 HG’s prettied up today for Rachel’s HOH pictures. 
Honestly- after the big Dick incident last week, not a whole heck of a lot has happened. But that’s fixin’ to change to-morrow. Once the votes come down– one of the sides is going to be extremely uncomfortable. I cannot WAIT for the LIVE FEEDS to come up after the HOH comp. Of all the things I love best about the feeds- #1 is watching the endurance comps in real time, #2 is viewing the aftermath of the HOH competition and THAT will happen tomorrow. So if you don’t have em.. better get em HERE.
BTW- I may have stuck my foot in my own mouth. The BB HG’s are on inside Lockdown. If that continues through tomorrow, we may NOT see a question HOH- but a skill competition–like a…oh, I don’t know.. a GOLF game, maybe?

Season is over- bye newbies. Nice play CBS- guess u thought this idea out real well. Might as well not even watch the rest, it’s gonna be such a bore. CBS didn’t learn anything from Survivor- the brain sees patterns so the more you are involved in something the easier it gets, so of course returning players have a huge advantage- so let’s put 6 of them in- how stupid!
