While it was a pretty boring first week in the Big Brother 2014 house, things definitely heated up during Week 2! It was Veto Night last night on Big Brother 2014 and CBS teased us big time with this Veto Meeting! We all know that some major drama went down at that Veto Meeting and afterwards, but they gave us nothing last night!

With that being said, the final two nominees for Week 2 on Big Brother 16 are:
- Zach Rance
- Paola Shea
This whole week has been amazing for the Feedsters, as we have seen a lot of action. However, these HGs are all over the map. They all have alliances all over the place, so it is tough to see who is lying and who is telling the truth and where their true alliances lie. Despite Zach wreaking some major havoc in the house this week, I think the HGs want Paola gone even more. The floaters need to go and she is a pawn for Devin and they want her gone, so they vote her out and Zach stays for another week!

After last night i wouldn’t be surprised if he self evicted. But since he already knows which way the vote will go, he’s come to acceptance of the situation (although he’s quite upset about it). I’m hoping we get another Devinesque moment tonight. Because his time is short and i’d like to get the most mileage out of his fits.
@Cat, I bet his tune will change during the next week. He will play the victim card or he will say he was thinking of the Alliance. But how will he explain putting Zack on the block. Devin needs to go home and regroup.
Welcome Payton. I haven’t seen you here before. It sounds like maybe you’re watching only the CBS shows. This blog posts a lot of spoilers ahead of schedule from watching the live feeds. And several people here have the live feeds too. So we know how NUTS Devin is! Believe me, what they’ve shown on CBS only scratches the surface!

Welcome Payton. And yes, he has already started playing that card. Once Payola was evicted, he came out of his hidey hole and started socializing. And surprisingly enough they were social with him also. Already some of them are thinking of backdooring Caleb and keeping him for a later eviction. “We’ll get rid of him later” – famous last words.

It may be hard to send him home. He does have to lose battle of the block before they can keep him up. I guess however they can back door him later. I don’t know about this rule. Can a winner of the battle of the block be put back up Cat? If not then they better not put him up at all until the power of veto comp.
Nope they are safe for the week. The HOH loser can be put up though. Even if they don’t initially nom him he might get picked to play veto. And win. Which is a chance you take when trying to backdoor someone.
I am with you Mary, I can not wait. Paola is history. Now everyone knows now Devin is now wanting to work with her and they want Devin gone next. Too many alliances dude, go away and go home to your baby.
I hope so. Even though Devin is a ticking time bomb I think he is halirious. I don’t think he will hurt anyone physically. I love it when he throughs those temper tantrums.
On the spoiler this week it said that Jacosta was looking bad so the “sickness” was kicking in. What did they mean by that?
Jacosta was having bowel “issues” when the BotB took place last week. The sun and heat exacerbated her dehydrated state and made her more sick. She because vomiting, etc. That was where she was when the veto comp took place.
OMG that is awful. I seriously hope she feels better. To be stuck in a house with a few nuts is hard. But to be stuck in the house and feeling sick, wow.
She is not one of my favs, but I really don’t like to see anyone that sick. I hope she gets better soon.
Paola will be hitting the road tonight. I am really disappointed in her. I expected some fiery personality but she’s become a mouse. Throwing comps for the most disliked house guest is bad strategy. And being a dud in winning them puts you on the road to eviction. Who in their right mind would want to be sitting on the block with her? You would be assured of losing. Better to get rid of someone that has no game or abilities than someone that could blow their self up at any given moment. Zach may be a loose cannon sometimes but is a heck of a lot more fun to watch than Paola.

I’m very disappointed in Poa too. I was really hating her at the beginning with her big personality and thought she would be a little more fun to watch. She has just shrunk down to a sheep that does what she is told. How boring is that? Geez people there is a lot of money to win! Why did you come on the show if you’re going to just lay down and die?

Zach should stay if the numbers stay the same. I would say that Devin should have an idea that Zach will stay but he is a bit delusional. If he still has no clue wait for the pan to his facially expression if Julie announces Zach will be staying. It may even be fun if Julie plays the old game of saying “The houseguests have voted and…………………………………………………..

Usually I hate that trick, but I think that would be perfect for tonight; especially if they can cut to Devin’s face for the split second he thinks he’s succeeded.
Frankie told him yesterday which way the wind is blowing. But i expect a fit to be thrown by him anyway once all is said and done.

I said yesterday but it was actually the night that Derrick talked Caleb into voting to keep Zach. Someone (can’t remember who but it was a guy) told Frankie to do it. Devin did not take it well. He went into “how dare they” mode. This was also around the time that Devin said he didn’t trust Caleb anyway. That Caleb was too self-centered. Takes one to know one.

And Donny told most of them yesterday that he’s voting to keep Paola. He doesn’t want her to feel bad. But his decision is ok with them. They seem to understand it.

I do not know what others are thinking but I am really enjoying this year. These HG are all over the place. In the past you had 2 or 3 static camps of HG That would battle every week to gain the numbers or recruit floaters from week to week. This year after week one we have seen true scrambling.. Love it.
I’m loving it too. I hate it when there is a clear division in the house. There are so many alliances i can barely keep up. And they change from week to week. Or actually day to day. Lol…only second eviction and it seems like they have been in there for months.
Paola… you’re outta there!! Best wishes on your Future endeavors though :).
Devin is gonna freak out when Zach doesn’t go home. And Frankie is beginning to talk to much. Before it is over with he will be telling everybody about the alliance that America has him in with Donny and Derrick. I hope Devin is gone before he does.

CBS has just released their leaderboard for the activity braclets they were given yesterday. Apparently you can follow them all season to see who is the most active. Believe it or not Zach is #1 right now with 4690 steps taken. Can you believe he leads when he sleeps so much!? Derrick is close behind him though. Cody is in last place.
Have to add that the leaderboard also has their “move-in weight”. And they will weigh them again when they are evicted to determine their “move-out weight”. Ummm….no way! How would you like the entire BB world to know how much you weigh? Of course most of them lose weight while on slop. But there is a small percentage that gains while in the house.
Who was voted out last night on Big Brother. And I hate to open this question just because I do not make it a habit of criticizing people. But is Devin on some type of mood altering substance. I would say steroids but I don’t think that would be it completely. Maybe he has a struggle with his mood and he needs his medication. But he is up and down and always looking for a fight or to take something that someone says and extract the negativity. And I don’t think that he could possibly that way in “real life”.
Poor Frankie looks like he just wants to stay out of the mess as long as he can. And the other members of the BombSquad don’t know what to think. He blew up and said ok the alliance is over. Without speaking with anyone else. Does he have temper issues and I hate saying that because it is placed on black men too freely. But he does have this move where he snaps around. And when Amber was attempting to talk he did snap around and say I will tell it. I would just like to understand why his moods are so erratic. So what happened last night on BB2014. I am traveling and don’t know the latest.
Paola went home Payton. This show is getting interesting now.. Devin needs to go home next.
@Carol in SC I completely agree with you. When he fell into HOH by luck the power went to his head. People wonder how nations leaders get drunk on power and then get paranoid thinking others want to destroy them. Well Devon when full circle from drunk on power to paranoid because he is acting like a dictator. And did you notice when he calls people and ask them to tell him the truth, he literally stares them down and then if they should tell him the truth he says “What, why did you say that”. People walk through the door not knowing who they are going to live with for several weeks and then you hope that the other people have at least their sanity. He is exhibiting strange behavior. And its not because he is this strong and muscle bound black guy. He is just really forceful and does not seem to know how to work with people. This game he is playing is for his daughter. But he is headed for the door with his out of control behavior. And that is sad. One more thing Carol…what is with the furniture this season? Seriously, it looks like we are on an episode of the Flintstones.

I get the Big Brother After Dark episodes and one day it was literally Derrick and Nicole the entire After Dark. And Derrick was going on and on until the break of dawn attempting to get her to understand the Bomb Squad and his logic in thinking. Are the live feeds any better?
Oh yea, there are more cameras in the live feeds, and you can usually pick! Plus, they don’t bleep out language – not that I’m a fan of bad language, but it can get difficult to understand conversations when they’re bleeped a lot!

Carol’s right, things can get very mundane, even with live feeds. The best time for the live feeds (or BBAD) is when something is happening in the house. An important comp coming up or something. Even though they have freakish sleeping habits, there are times when people are up and strategizing. And when there’s multiple cameras, you can just mute Devin!! Of course, when the melt-downs happen, it’s golden!

@Mary, Do the other girls not like Amber? And who are they talking about when they say “She just uses my stuff and doesn’t put it back” And then Victoria accused someone of using her deodorant. Hmmm who are they talking about?
Hi Payton. I’m not the lovely Mary but to answer your question – the girls dislike Amber intensely. I don’t know if it’s just jealousy or all the attention the guys give her. Or if it’s the fact that she said she was beautiful. And she uses their stuff. Put it all together and you have a little Amber hate going on.

Thank you @BigBrotherCat. – Seriously it could be jealousy. But hey she is from TN and one of my best friends is from TN and she’s just down to earth. Yes she uses my stuff when she visits. But I have to say when I visit her she says please use anything you need. So maybe she’s just a little country, but that’s ok. On another note, who gave the girls the magic braid tool. Seriously they are all sporting the same side braid style with their hair. Its like the season when everyone wore extensions. hmmmm
Victoria loves that fish braid. And they’re doing it by hand as far as I know. Probably Victoria did it for them, or at least showed them how. Victoria was straightening Hayden’s hair the other day….
@Lily, but isn’t getting so old. I just want to grab them and comb their hair. Maybe bacause I stopped wearing braids at the ripe old age of 12.
OMGosh, Payton, one afternoon last week when I watched the feeds, Victoria RE-did her braid 3 times in about 4-5 hours!! Whining most of the time….
I can picture that was she like “Oh my Gawwwwddd its crooked, Oh nooooooo its too thick now, Ooooo Eeeeey Veeeey what happened now, I left some of my hair out of the braid. Finally, hey does my braid look nice, does it look straight to you. I bet it looks amaaaaazing on camera….
LOL…you have her down pat. She has extensions and i don’t know if she’s paranoid about them coming out. I read somewhere that the reason she has extensions is because she had some kind of sickness when she was younger. I can’t confirm that and you know how rumors are.
Well, I can not confirm or deny the illness. But she is Orthodox and she made a comment in the beginning that they don’t dress Orthodox but she could do the wig/extension thing like some Orthodox women. No matter the reason, she is annoying. And yes, you can tell its a wig or weave or something. Only Barbie Designable Hair has that much freaking hair. And the others all say OMG Victoria you are so cute and fun…. and behind her back.. well we can get rid of her… just help her pack her hair and go…..
She also said she can’t sleep in the bed with a male hg or cuddle with him (because of her religion) yet she has been seen cuddling with a couple of them. And slept in the same bed as a couple. I don’t know if that is due to a lack of beds but if she really felt that way then she should have slept with one of the girls. She contradicts herself all the time. Some of them want to send her packing back to her Miami mansion.
Well, first Devin is leaving and then we will see how the game goes. I don’t know if she is as “rich” as she would want us to believe. She reads fake to me and not just her hair.
To be fair, I think Victoria is just spoiled. Derrick even called her “sheltered” – as opposed to stuck on herself. I’m just tired of her focusing on her hair and her belongings and whether everyone things she’s a nice person. She has ZERO game play. I was trying to decide how the house will divide when Devin leaves and I had to look at a photo to determine which HG I was leaving off (Victoria). She and Jacosta may be nice human beings, but they are a waste of BB house space!
I’m sorry but I don’t know. If it’s on After Dark, I don’t watch it – too late for this old lady. I persevered through it once and that was enough for me – sooo boring.
I wondered that myself. Is Victoria complaining about that again? Because she was whining about that last week, and I honestly thought they were talking about Paola. Could be Amber, I guess. The other girls don’t accept her as much (not sure “dislike” is fair of all the girls in general). I just think they don’t trust her because of a perceived alliance she has with Caleb or the other guys.
