Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Donny Thompson Fired From Job!
|Well, it looks like Donny Thompson may have been America’s Favorite HouseGuest during his time on Big Brother 16, but his old job was not feeling the same love for the Big Brother 2014 alumni and they did not hire him back! Yup, Donny is no longer a groundskeeper, so let the conspiracy theories start! Get the details below in our Big Brother 2014 spoilers!
While it was TMZ that reported the story, Donny did go to his Twitter and confirm the news! Donny got back from doing the show and his job was not filled yet, but he had to reapply for it. You would assume that the person who has done that job for 6 1/2 years would get it, right???
Not the case at all! They hired someone else, but Donny was hired as a part-time janitor. While I feel bad for Donny, I can see it from the school’s standpoint as well. I mean, Donny is under contract with CBS still and I am sure he has public appearances every now and then (as seen below in the photos). I am sure they can’t give him time off every other week, so maybe the part-time job is better for him right now??? (I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here people)!

There are certainly some reality shows on tv nowadays that are head scratchers. I’d really like to see Donny in real life – along with his amazing brother. Problem is, I’m thinking members of his family are really too private to do that.
I believe you are right about that. I think they said before that they don’t really even watch TV
They could develop “The Excellent Adventures of Donny and Christine”. One sided phone conversations with Mom and Pop about plans for their wedding. In search of tuxs (or bib overalls), bridal gowns (or a nice peach colored dress), the writing of the vows and the trouble his brother has with coming up with the perfect best-man toast. Sort of the reverse of Bridezilla.
How about a groundskeeper by day, a saviour at night.
Thanks for this, Todd! I don’t know how far and wide you had to search to come up with a bunch of Donny photos, but these were just terrific! Aside from enjoying seeing our Donny again, it struck me how like normal people these folks looked. Not slutty or sleazy media wh*res like some others. Maybe it’s my preconceived nothing, but if I didn’t know these folks had been on BB, I’d just think they were groups of average folks getting their pictures taken to make a memory. This was a lovely treat, thanks again, Todd!

Me Too Mary. Everyone Donny will be just alright without his old job. He is a keeper and we all know it. I love the picture with the candy machines, that is priceless and he is so humble in all the photos. He needs to apply for a job on a exclusive golf coarse, he would do great, along with more money. We still love our Donny.
Great pics Todd, thanks. I feel bad about losing his job but hopefully other opportunities will come about. Wish he would shave his beard, he is good looking under neath all that hair.
I agree, I don’t like the beard either or any facial hair, I like clean shaven men.
So true Barbara. I don’t think he has because he was asked in the past please do not shave it, that is the Donny we all know. JMHO
I didn’t see the pics when I first read the article but went back to look based on everyones comments. Thank you for sharing those with us Todd!! They are real nice.
For some reason, I included the tweet in the original post and it cut off everything after it, including the photos I included! So, I deleted the tweet and put the photos back in!
Sometimes when a door closes, opportunity opens a window. And i’m sure someone with a little imagination will see the prospective entertainment value that Donny possesses. Maybe even CBS themselves will provide a venue for him. How about a 5 minute segment at the end of Jeffs show each week (after each eviction) with commentary by Donny in his own unique style? Sort of like the Andy Rooney of BB. 🙂
