Pretty much on point. It was interesting comparing his first impressions to now. And he feels much the same about this abysmal season and the much detested Vanessa. Cannot wait for the finish line of this race. The only thing I am looking forward to is Fan Favorite, whIch is discussed endlessly by Austin, who has convinced himself that he will win it, Noone else is as beloved as he is. Fun to watch the delusional, just like Frankie last year not even in the top three. I ask for so little.
They were talking about Frankie last night and what he is doing now. Austin said he wants to do that and get on other reality shows and host.
God help us all !!
What could be worse than Austin on BB? Austin on anything.
I’m with you. The only problem is, I’m afraid JMac will beat James in a close fan fav vote. Heaven forbid that split vote actually even allowed another hg to take the prize. In my perfect world – with the cards we’ve been dealt – JMac wins the big prize and James gets fan fav.
No wait … I want Vanessa to win fan fav and Liz to win the grand prize. Yup. Let those BB gods make it so….
Outstanding Matt!! Have to say i totally agree with you 100% about Vanessa. No matter which way you slice it, if she’s handed the check, she deserves it. I can’t stand her. I hate her gameplay. She’s a total irritation. But she’s handling them all. And they’re letting her do it.
Fingers crossed when Wednesday comes Austin and Vanessa are gone.

Great post, Matthew!!! I think you summed up what we all were thinking perfectly! I like to say that the others deserve to lose more than Van deserves to win. She’s had them eating out of the palm of her hand like animals at the petting zoo and they just kept coming back for more of the bs she was feeding them. They rarely, if ever stood up to her (you could say that John did back when he called her out several weeks ago) and they chose to keep her in the house even after they knew what she was up to. I guess you could say that that was good gameplay on her part, but I just can’t get behind the way she did it. Go ahead and be manipulative and lie, that’s part if the game after all, but don’t go around bragging about your integrity after you’ve been so hypocritical and mean. That said, this is her game to lose at this point and I’m interested to see what she does when she finds herself caught in her own web of lies. And if by some chance Van doesn’t make it to F2, whoever is responsible for getting her out if the house will walk away with 500k, even if getting rid of Van was the only noteworthy move they made.
