Big Brother Nominated For 2015 Reality TV Award – VOTE NOW!
|It looks like Big Brother is getting some love at the 2015 Reality TV Awards, as they were nominated twice! Now it is your chance to get your favorite show in the winner’s circle, as the results are up to you! Want to see Big Brother win Best Competition Show? So, the Reality TV Awards were voted on by people in the industry to get it down to the final nominees in each category. From there, the voting is opened up to the public and they get to vote for their favorites to win the awards, which will take place on May 13 at The Avalon in Hollywood.
For Big Brother 16, it looks like they ended up with two nominees, which were:
- Best Competition Show
- Best Creative Challenge – Contestants have to roll an oversized dice from within and land the dice on the correct number facing up to answer the trivia question.
If you don’t remember that competition, it was the PoV early in the season and they were in the big dice and flopping around. Jocasta was sick and could not compete and Donny ended up winning it and came into the house and gave it to her, which caused some crazy crying sounds to come out of her!
It looks like Zach, Devin and Brittany are signed up to be in attendance and more names to come. As far as voting goes, you can vote every day and voting ends on April 30! Click here to vote!!!

I have to be totally honest. No way can I vote for BB as most competitive show. So I went there to vote for most creative challenge … but saw the competition and couldn’t make myself vote for that either.
I know that makes me Negative Nancy this morning. Sorry! You know me, I honestly believe BB isn’t nearly the show it could be if they’d let some of us get our hands on producing it!!!

No problem and to be honest, the awards are kind of a joke right now. The site is so lame and poorly designed and the voting is terrible. They appear to be low budget, but they emailed me to share it and I obliged lol
I have to agree. I went and voted. Some of the selections had me scratching my head but hey, something for everyone! I used to watch RuPaul’s drag race. I will have to check the listings and start watching it again. It is very entertaining. I was glad to see Master Chef Jr on some of the lists. I really like that show.
So rolling dice around an oversized board is more creative than RuPal”s Drag Race (drop an eyelash and you’re o-u-t)?? Didn’t notice when i visited the site but was RuPal’s show nommed for Most Competitive also??…..If not….He was robbed!!….Or is that She was robbed? I can never be sure 🙂
Drag Race was nominated for both also. How can anyone win in a Creative Challenge against guys that transform into women??? lol

His interview is tomorrow, so that will be intriguing. He was seen in a dress for the first time and Twitter exploded!

I really wanted to vote for Big Brother as well; but they have just been lacking in a lot of areas. They definitely need to make some changes in casting and production! Just my opinion of course.

So what did you think about the advantage the Dan received on Survivor last night? the extra vote. I would never have expected that but it is a nice twist!
On a BBC note: I think they should have offered them $25K to push the button…heck if they took the $$ then they would have to leave the house and $10K is not really worth it since you can potentially make more than that in comps and jury, not to mention going to the final!
I think they should have played “Lets Make A Deal” with them. Door #1 – instant eviction, no money, reset game. Door #2 – $25,000 and a talk with Arissa. Door #3 – HOH next week, party for the house and a hidden veto to be used whenever. 🙂

I watched it Mary. Loved it! Did you see JP’s reaction when he seen Donny? I had to chuckle. He really is a fan. I think he reveled in the roasting Peter gave him. I wish the US would do that as well but I’m afraid of who they would use as the regulars. I like both Peter and Gary but the US BB staff is usually a bad judge of who they think America likes. LOL
I’d vote for Donny and Zach Rance to host. Or Will Heuser and Dr Will. Or a combination of any of those 4. ANYONE but Jeff Schroder!

I like Cat’s thinking (usually do) I think Will H and Dr Will would be good but if you want an brutally honest/mean co host you could get someone like Evil Dick. (Whom I’ve heard has mellowed some these days)
Evil Dick would be great! But i don’t think he has mellowed much. His idea of mellowing is to say F*ck you only once instead of twice :).

While I am one of the very few Rachel fans I don’t think she would be good for that type of show. Evil Dick would be great to play the mean guy role. i think Will Heuser would be good too!

I agree, Cat. I used to HATE Rachel – though I respected the fact that she is NOT a floater, you can’t predict what she’ll do next (except cry or whine), and she’s not afraid to stir things up. That said, her voice and her laugh drive me nuts. In the last Amazing Race she was on, I think she got a favorable edit because she didn’t annoy me as much as usual….
Maybe your selective hearing kicked in just in time. Or maybe her screeching laugh has become something only dogs can hear.

JP went totally nuts when he saw Donny, for him it was probably worth being voted out just to meet him. The BB U.S. mould probably put Rachell and her hubby on . How soon we forget eh? I don’t know if I spelled her name right or even what her hubby’s name is (duh!) But I’m pretty sure you know who I mean.
The target is Sindy. She called a house meeting and exposed The Chop Shop. Now she’s seen as a sh*t disturber. She’s strong in comps but her social game is not up to par.
Yeah, she really came back with guns blazing.
I hope she wins Veto. I don’t really care for her (even though she’s a comp beast). But it would put a kink in their plans. The only down side to that is Godfrey would probably be evicted instead.

Can anyone tell me if it is cold or windy in the BB house…I was wondering because the guys are always wearing some kind of hat or stupid looking touque on their head…I mean Bruno, how old are you? Do they wear hats at their jobs or sit around home all night with a hat on…Grow Up
There was snow outside one time when a few of them went out for a smoke but they all (the boys) go shirtless when you see them in the diary room so I guess it’s hot in there. All the stupid hats and toques are a fashion statement?
Well that is one fashion that is becoming so boring…I don’t recall Dr. Will or Dan …well all the good players walking around have dressed with a hat on.
I guess maybe they wear one so they save on shampoo.

Kind of interesting about their need for hats. Last season of BBUS Derrick came into the game looking like the boy next door. After a few weeks he turned into an unshaven, touque wearing bro (on purpose). And Zach (BB16) used his pink hat (although technically Victorias) as a fashion statement and a reason for drama. So hats can be a subtle way to make a statement while in the game. No, i’m sure most of them wear them for the “cool” factor. But the examples above are times when a hat brought about a change in the game. Strange for sure but you can never discount ANYTHING while in the BB house. Even the simple action of wearing a hat.
Maybe Dr. Will realized he had great hair and did not need a hat….I don’t care if they think it is cool or whatever the reason…they all look stupid…Someone take a camera to their job (for those that have one) and lets see if they are wearing them then…Better idea, how about Harper and Obama start wearing hats.
