We started tonight’s episode of Survivor off with the castaways on the EOE getting a scroll. They are able to use their fire tokens to buy things to prepare for their challenge. Ambe gave Rob her fire token which allowed him to buy an advantage and an idol. Natalie did the same with her fire tokens also.

Jeff calls all the castaways to the beach and we see a challenge set up. Jeff tells the 11 castaways that it’s time for them to drop their buffs and then tells them that there are about to be 12 of them. The castaways from EOE are brought out! Any castaways that won an advantage while on EOE will not have to dig up their ropes, the other few will have to dig up their rope with a bag attached to it. Throughout the challenge, the castaways have to retrieve bags, in the end, they have to put together a pole long enough to get a key down.

All of the castaways get their supplies to get their pole together. Rob is the first one to try and get his key and he gets it! He unlocks his door which gets him to the last part of the challenge. Natalie is right behind him, but can Rob drop his ball down the snake puzzle before she gets there? Natalie gains the lead but then loses her ball. All the castaways get to the snake puzzle except for Amber. Tyson takes the lead, Yul and Rob are right behind him. Yul loses his ball, but Rob is still on Tyson’s trail. They are dead even at the top of the puzzle, but Tyson wins the challenge and makes his way back in the game!

The castaways say bye to the rest of the EOE castaways and they are told they will be merging on the Sele camp. They head their separate ways. The castaways get back to camp to find a list of prices for their fire tokens and all the prices have gone up. They then turn around and find a feast for them to enjoy. After they eat, they start working on relationships. Wendall and Jeremy are talking and Wendall thinks that Jeremy is looking to work with him, but Jeremy is looking for information on how to weaken Wendell’s game. He mentions that he wouldn’t mind seeing Nick voted out.

It starts pouring outside and the castaways are all waiting to see if someone with fire tokens buys a tarp, but no one does. When they report to their immunity challenge, the castaways are shaking from the cold. In this season’s first Individual Immunity Challenge, the castaways will hold on to a pole and the last person holding on will win immunity and a fire token. Jeff then tells them that it will be one man and one woman who will win tonight!

Michelle is the first one down and she falls pretty far, but refuses medical and says she is fine. Adam is the second one out and Sarah is right behind him. Tyson is down and Wendell drops. Tony is down and Sophie is down too. Kim and Denise are the last two women and Jeremy, Nick, and Ben are the last three men. Kim drops which means Denise is the winner for the women! Ben is down leaving Jeremy and Nick on their poles for the men. Nick falls making Jeremy the winner for the men in tonight’s Immunity Challenge. Denise and Jeremy will win immunity and a fire token!

After the challenge, Jeremy, Tony, and Ben are talking about who they are thinking about voting for. Wendell and Nick are mentioned, but Jeremy thinks that they can work with Wendell and they talk about how Nick is always putting himself into people’s conversations lately. Nick talks to Wendell, Jeremy, and Michelle about Adam being a good option. Sophie wants to see Wendell over Nick go because she thinks that Jeremy is closer to Wendell, but Jeremy tells Ben that he doesn’t think that’s a good idea. Jeremy is wondering if they just go for Adam to keep Wendell safe. Adam gets wind that he might be the target and he talks to us about how he doesn’t want to be voted out and he doesn’t want to go to the edge.

It is time for Tribal Council! There is a lot talk about how the reasons that Tyson got voted out the first time, don’t have any merit now because the dynamics of the game have changed so much. It is time for the vote! Jeff tallies the votes, comes back out and tells the castaways that if anyone has an immunity idol to play, now would be the time. No one played an idol and here are the votes:

  • Adam
  • Wendell
  • Adam
  • Adam
  • Wendell
  • Wendell
  • Wendell
  • Wendell
  • Wendell
  • Wendell

With seven votes, Wendell is voted out and sent to the EOE! Wendell leaves his fire tokens to Michelle and Nick.
