Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Battle of the Block Results – Week 8
|Many of us are happy this is the final Battle of the Block competition on Big Brother 2014, but it is finally behind us and we will soon be down to just one HoH on Big Brother 16 each week! While this new twist has added some excitement on Fridays for us, we think it was another way for one side of the house to rule the game. The HGs had a plan of throwing the comp to keep a certain HG on the block, but they failed last week with that plan. Will it happen again today on Big Brother 16? Check out the Week 8 results below in our Big Brother 2014 spoilers!
We have no clue what the HGs did for the competition, but here are the results of the Battle of the Block for Week 8:

- Winners – Christine and Donny, so they are off the block and safe this week and dethrone Derrick as HoH
- Losers – Cody and Caleb, so they remain on the block for Week 8
- Final HoH for Week 8 – Frankie
As much as we hate seeing Frankie as the remaining HoH for the week, this is beyond awesome news! Christine was supposed to throw the comp, so I wonder if she tried and Donny still won on his own or she tried to play it and keep herself safe. Either way, their plan backfired and Donny and Christine are safe for the week and Zach or Victoria better watch out!

Wow! I checked back in at just the right time! The news is great. I hope hope hope that Zach will not be the one to go up. Will they still have the same # playing for power of veto? I would love to see Donny win again and since Zach seems to be the only one who has not been shunning him, I would hope he would not take anyone off the block and Zach would be safe. Zach-Donny-Hayden or Nicole–now that is my kind of alliance! And either Caleb or Cody–good riddance to either one.
Yeah, Frankie is saying he will win veto tomorrow. Tonight will be fun to see where they put the target now and if Derrick can avoid it falling on Victoria. The POV tomorrow is huge because I would be content with a Donny victory and keeping them the same or even Victoria pulling out a victory and not using it (and if she does, then she deserves to go home)!

I would be afraid of Victoria since she is so enamored with Derrick–she would most likely do anything he wanted, never believing he would backstab her.

Haha!!!! I don’t even care if Frankie wins veto tomorrow! Let them all fight it out while Donny is sitting on the side lines smiling and eating his fruit loops. But if by some chance Donny wins veto…..i want some groveling….some a*s kissing….some begging at his feet….some throwing each other under the bus in front of everyone…..and most of all……MOST OF ALL…..i want to hear those 7 little words that are near and dear to my heart….” I choose NOT to use this veto”. ***Climbs the wall of the BB house, sneaks into Donnys room and straightens his halo*** 🙂

Yeah glad to see Donny , hayden and nycole mixing things up and making this a BB challenge. Then next for me would be frankie that pink hair has to go

Frankie would put up Zach in a heartbeat and Derrick will campaign to keep Victoria there and in his back pocket. This is going to be interesting to see it all play out and now they have to go after each other and Derrick has to figure out a way to keep Victoria safe
Should be very interesting to see what he does to convince the guys to keep Victoria, of all people, safe.
All I know now is Christine will be gone when the guys get a chance.
They are saying Christine didn’t “find any” on the Live Feeds. I think she tried to throw it, but Donny won it on his own. Beast Mode Cowboy sucks at comps! He can’t throw one or win one!

I meant just what you thought I meant! TRIPLE WINK!! What’s the old saying: “Those who can, do, and those who can’t, talk a lot about it!” I think I just made that up but I believe I’ll keep it.
I just decided what “beast mode” he is emulating–the 3-toed sloth who is so slow that algae actually grows on its fur! I hated that it turned out to be the sloth because they are one of my very favorite animals–they are adorable and very shy and I would never use that description for “Beast Mode Cowboy.”
Put up Derrick He needs to feel what it is like to have to sit in the hot seat for a change….
Totally agree! to be honest, i want him out more than anyone this week. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…if a person has that much influence over other people and has never been a serious consideration to go on the block, then they are the biggest threat in my book. they all go to him with info, he gives an order or plants an idea in their heads and they happily do whatever it is that Derrick wants them to do. I know we as viewers have the advantage of seeing who the hgs really are and what kind of game they’re playing, but are the hgs really that oblivious to what’s going on? Surely one of the has to know in the back of their head that anyone sitting next to Derrick in the finale is guarnteed to go home in second place! maybe Donny can talk some sense into them.
I think they are that oblivious. I also think that the HGs are more worried about making a friend than winning the money. Pitiful.
The problem is they just ignore Donny–guess they think they are better than he is. Boy, are they mistaken!

Now Caleb is saying it was rigged and Donny had an earpiece in telling him where to go. Apparently it was a dark room and they had to search through goo to find bones. Yes, production was telling Donny where to go Caleb. Can I tell you where to go Caleb????

YESSS… finally, Donny is safe. Like to see how Derrick will stay safe. However, with Frankie as HOH and the whole TA twist…..he may still be safe……Very interesting to see who plays and wins the POV this week. If Zack doesn’t win, will Frankie finally stay true to his word…Hmmmm. very interesting week in the BB house……

Only to give dance lessons. If by some chance he figures out how to give them in the HOH bed we may get lucky and see him do a face plant on the floor. Or at the very least see him get a twig up his butt from the Birds Nest bed. Either one is fine.

I know! Can you believe it? Just when it looks like all is lost, Donny comes through again!

Did they ever say what the mission is for this week? and will they actually do it?
If you haven’t already learned the answer, they are going to steal from the hg and then get them to stay up for 24 hours to keep watch for the thief.
I went to bed early, I just couldn’t keep my eyes open. After a couple of hours I woke up and so of course I just had to see what’s new on my favorite site and WOW, I am so happy and thrilled I did…Donny is safe for another week. OH HAPPY DAY!!!
