Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Live Feeds Recap – 6/30/2014
|We saw a mini-attempt at Joey trying to make a move on Big Brother 2014, but I don’t think she understands how the game works still and she needs to campaign a little harder if she wants to stay in the Big Brother 16 house! Luckily, we have a couple more days for her to try and hopefully she does just that! Otherwise, it was a pretty slow Monday in the Big Brother 2014 house and these HGs sleeping their days away since they stay up way too late! The big news of the day was Joey and her telling Hayden about the Team America twist. She said it gives her special powers and to keep her around for that reason. Unfortunately, Hayden felt like she was lying about it. Joey does hint at the idea of Team America to Zach and talks about having special powers and they talk about the MVP twist from last season, but she never comes out and tells him. As far as anything else happening, Caleb still has constant thoughts about Amber and it could ruin his game. I know that it is almost certain that Joey is going home this week, but he needs to get his head in the game. I mean, Frankie and Zach are planning everything out (which could hurt them) to the end. Caleb is going to fall behind because of his obsession with a girl that is not interested.
How soon before the Bomb Squad fizzles away? Caleb and Frankie talking about getting Amber out. Some of them are worried about Caleb and his actions. Cody and Caleb seem to have some beef against each other. Devin is a walking time bomb, so he could explode any moment, even though he confessed his love for Caleb and their bromance is all Caleb needs!
Unless Joey can make some miraculous move in the next couple days, it looks like she is going home on Thursday night and the next target is Brittany! Talked turn to her yesterday, but we shall see.
Side note: we also saw Nicole start crying and was home sick, which led to many other tears and then a prayer circle lead by Bow Tie. Christine, Frankie and Zach made fun of them in another room for all the crying and it being only a week and they are crying already. And we had some Big Brother 15 talk, as the HGs were ripping on them and saying how terrible they were! Maybe I do like these Big Brother 16 HGs!

WOW what a mess that house is. Had anyone noticed after the first week how dirty it is. Crap laying around everywhere. They are certainly no neat freaks. Devin and his love for Caleb and bromance ? Seriously what is wrong with these folks. The show is getting boring BB, do something some how remove Joey from the block and put up Devin.
It happens every year. One week with 16 people in the house and it looks like a bomb went off. Frankie and Zach were talking about how Brittney is using her dishwashing and house cleaning to avoid being ousted. Maybe they should take a page from her book and grab a mop. As for Devin and Calebs bromance….I think what he was trying to convey to Caleb was that it should be “bros before….well you know the rest. According to Cody, Zach said he wouldn’t mind f*cking Frankie. If he was gay then that wouldn’t be an unusual statement. But since he is not he’s either in denial or using his closeness to Frankie to further himself in the game. I don’t trust Zach. Not even his supposed alliance with Frankie. Things should get more exciting once the evictions start rolling in. At least i hope so. I’m hoping someone will reveal a unique strategy. But so far the only person that seems to have even a half-a$$ed strategy is Frankie.
I agree Cat they better start waking up and playing the game. Why do young folks need so much sleep, ay that age I stayed up all night and did not sleep all day either.
Boredom. Pure and simple boredom. No phones to call a friend, no tv, no books (other than the bible), no outside stimulation. Another reason they want to sleep most of the day is they stay up most of the night. There are some real nightowls in there.

I thought they woke them up by about 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. some seasons to keep them from boring the crap out of all the live-feed watchers? You guys are getting ripped off if they sleep while you’re awake and stay up while you sleep!!
They do. They stay up half the night…get woke up around 9 or 10 then want to nap half the day. But they are not allowed to sleep actually because BB tells them no sleeping in the living room or whatever place they seem to be in. I think some of them sneak in a nap though (while sunbathing).

Same here – I was a party animal but always got up and went to work the next day. When I say party animal, I wasn’t anything like kids today, I didn’t get drunk and act like a fool, I mostly went dancing.

I’d feel the same. It’s actually not Beibers (or Mileys) music i object to. It’s the entitlement attitude. But to be fair, i feel the same way about most of Hollywood. It creates an enclosed society that lends itself to that sort of attitude. Paying a star millions to entertain us is utterly ridiculous. But we, as consumers, allow it. They should be paid fairly for their work. But when someone like Johnny Depp demands 40 million dollars or he won’t do a film, something is waaayyyy out of whack.
Oh my god, I agree with Cat…must be all the rain we are having.
It would probably be the same for Miley Cyrus as Beiber…they both have way too many issues and the music is really geared toward the young age bracket

Even when I was that age, I was neat – had to be, couldn’t go out of the house till I made my bed, picked everything up and washed my dishes (no dishwasher back then – really showing my age eh?) I agree, put Devin on the block. This season is a total snooze fest. Not giving up yet, it’s got to get better, right?
Amen it sure does, I want to fall asleep watching it right now.
Jody looks so sad, she better get moving and start playing the game or she will be seeing Julie real quick. I would be fighting tooth and nail to stay in the game.
Honestly i think she has played out her game. I like her but she revealed too much too soon. She sowed the seeds of mistrust. And it’s a bit late to start backtracking. She tried with the Team America thing but it’s not working. She’s going to be the first eviction.

Well it seems they keep bringing people back on new seasons so maybe she’ll be back next year and hopefully will have learned a lot from her mistakes.

I can’t believe Joey would go over Pow Pow. What the heck are they thinking. As for the mess. Now-a-day these kids don’t know how to do dished, laundry and much less pick up after themselves. I am sure there are some that do but kids are to pampered these days. I am for Team Devin to get out of the house. He is not right in the head.
They don’t see Pow Pow as a threat. Not good at comps and no social game (despite what she claimed in her pre-interviews).
IF you are a bit of a cynic as I am, then you know they need pow pow as the one who exposes Frankie!
Scripted? IMHO more than we realize. IWISH Joey knew and exposed a Frankie RIGHT now! that would be a “yippie” and start the battles and maybe get some action and “REALITY” into the show.
As stated above this place is a mortuary and those nights are more like the “night of the living dead”.
I could not agree with you more. Devin is a lose cannon waiting to go off, behind him is Caleb Pow Pow needs to go first in my opinion.
I really wish viewers wouldn’t complain so much and say mean things about the cast so early in the game. It can’t be as easy as it may seem to us. Everyone’s a critic, I guess, but where can I go to just discuss the show/game without all the negative talk?

Well, actually, I would disagree with my friend Mary slightly. There are NOT a lot of other sites where you can politely agree to disagree – like we do here. I don’t think anyone here has been overtly negative. Most of us aren’t crazy about Paola or Devin, but other than that, we’re just making observations.
If your comment means, however, that you’re looking for a site where no one is critical (even at this early stage) of the HGs, then you will need some luck finding THAT!
And, BTW, I believe several have already commented here that it is probably very different inside that house than we outside imagine it to be.

I didn’t say that. I guess I felt like some comments were overly critical and I expressed it. I wasn’t speaking in absolutes, just saying something. Relax. I’m not going to make you say three nice things for every hurtful remark. lol
It’s not possible to discuss the house guests without pointing out some of their negative actions….as well as the positive ones. If we were saying things racist or homophobic or being bullies, i would agree with you. I’m positive it’s not as easy as it seems. But allowing yourself to be on camera 24/7 gives permission to fans to critique your game. And to only comment on the positive aspects of their game would be to overlook the obvious shortcomings of their strategies. You’re more than welcome here. In fact, i encourage you to stick around. It’s always fun to debate opposing opinions. And i actually like your comment. It shows you have heart and are not a negative person.

Thanks- I guess I’d only read a few comments this morning and felt they were overly negative. I agree about Devin and Pao-Pao… whatever her name. I also agree about the players’ games being critiqued. I’m not really sure what my earlier opinion was based on. Not that it matters too much. I would really like a place to discuss the cast members. I admit, though, I am often the soft touch. Even I can see that Devin is paranoid and Pao is a bit diluted.
Well i must admit that sometimes i get on a roll and focus on their shortcomings. It’s hard not to when you’re practically killing brain cells sending them vibes to make the right move ..lol. I think Devin thought the BB house was going to be easy. That is to say, easy compared to his life outside the house. The other night when Devin was telling Frankie about his life, i thought to myself that Devin has a long history of miscalculated decisions. And it seems his streak continues inside the BB house. I really believe he needs help. I don’t say that to be mean or in a flippant way. I say it because i’ve seen the cracks that can appear in a person when too much stress is on them. And it just seems to me that Devins cracks are getting wider by the day.
