Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Results – Power of Veto Week 10
|Like it has been for the past couple weeks, the Power of Veto competition has been a big deal for one of the HGs and they had to win to save themselves on Big Brother 2014. That was the case again today, as Nicole is the target for everyone (maybe), but she needed to win to keep her safety and remain in the Big Brother 16 house. It looks like The Detonators plus Caleb are starting to turn on each other, so Nicole could work out something to stay, but I’d rather keep her safe FOR SURE! We announced the PoV players for Week 10 earlier today and now the results are in. The winner of the Power of Veto for Week 10 is Christine!!!

This is her second Veto win and now we have to sit and wonder what happens from here. The guys were talking and Derrick was hinting at Frankie going home. So, we have to see what Derrick decides to do before Monday comes. Christine comes down, but is it Victoria going up or maybe Frankie??? This could play out to be a lot of fun to watch, but it comes down to what Derrick will want Caleb to do!

I really thought that Nic was going to win it….it is unfortunate that since Nic has been back in the game, her head has not been. I really hope that Derrick has a change of heart and convince his alliance to save Nicole and get rid of Frankie. There was talk about bding Frankie….let’s just hope it happens…
Cody was first one out and has to wear a dinosaur costume! I guess they don’t need to worry about him being fresh after not competing in the HoH comp the other day.

Just got back on after not having access to computer all day and haven’t read any other posts so you may have already posted something but I couldn’t help but notice the reference to funeral arrangements. I am hoping it is not someone in your family.
I just hate it that she won! every year there is usually ups and downs and the good guy gets the bad guy and visa versa, but this year has been so disappointing! I want to feel that stand up and cheer feeling that I usually get each year, but this year is major disappointment! im actually losing interest, so the Twisted summer was a meh! 🙁

Damn, damn, damn….. it’s a shame we are depending on Derrick to decide if Nicole will stay or go this week. I guess that’s why–as disturbing and freaking annoying as it –he is shaping up to be one of the best players in the game this year. His strategy: use Everyone else to do his dirty work. Nicole’s strategy: be honest with everyone and win comps. Arghhhhhh……

Nah. BB16 is over. Who cares what happens at this point? The f6 is a hideous group of people, and I don’t even care now who takes who out first.
There’s no such thing as a big move this season. These hgs move sideways or backwards. But never forward with the “big move”. I’m so disgusted over events that i don’t care much who takes who out first either. No matter who is in F3, i’m sure i will be disappointed. Like i am by the whole season.

I’ll believe it when i see it. I’ve been disappointed so many times this season. I hate to get my hopes up. There’s still a spark of hope….a very teeny tiny spark but if the hgs don’t feed it this week then it’s nothing but a dying ember.

Caleb has proved he’s capable of a few good ideas. And he’s got the talk-tough part down pat, too. Follow-through is apparently his weakness.
His problem is he’s easily swayed. Whoever he’s talking to he agrees with. So whoever gets in his ear last gets what they want from him.

mrk, I missed your post on some other chat, but if you have lost someone you love, my heart goes out to you and your family. I have been crying over my sister who died a couple of years ago lately ever since I found a post on my family in Canada’s FB page of a girl singing “Dancing in the Sky.” It’s on YouTube and it is wonderful. If you get a chance, go listen to it. There is another video of it with the lyrics. So beautiful. It may give you comfort.

You’re welcome, Mary. I posted it on my FB page and my family has been commenting on it about how beautiful it is. You can’t help but cry if you’ve lost someone in your life. It brings it all back and gives you hope that you will see them again one day.

It’s funny, Cat. She can’t even get within 2 feet of him because of the big head! Also, funny, Frankie can get his arm over to stroke his leg, though. Cody will take any affection he can get from anyone, so he doesn’t mind. He’s been cuddling with Frankie as much as he has Christine. He was so drunk on BBAD last night that I thought he might be taken advantage of by Frankie if he passes out.
I know Cody wasn’t driving anywhere, but doesn’t CBS have any responsibility in contributing to Cody’s actions what drunk? He was toasted!
Ok, i had to think long and hard to find some possibility that this week could change (and it hurt my little head 🙂 ). But i came up with a tiny hope….a small one…but one nevertheless. Evel Di*k has been prodding his followers to use a bullhorn to shout over the wall that Frankie is a liar, the saboteur and has already won money. Apparently he knows the person(s) that did it the first two times. And they’ve scheduled another episode of “shout over the wall” for this week. Obviously things are bad….REALLY bad….if i’m putting my hopes in Evel Di*k. But that’s all i got people.
I guess I have a mean streak in me because I really hope Evel Di*k makes it happen!

The only hope is Derrick’s paranoia kicking in. But HE knows what money Frankie has earned. I still say Frankie (and maybe Christine, based on her recent comp performances) are a serious threat to Derrick’s victory. If Derrick was smart, he’d get Frankie out by backdooring him now.
Doubt he will though. For all his cunning, Derrick doesn’t have much to brag about in the courage department. He has set the tone for this house and this season. HE is the reason they vote the way they do and HE is the reason no big moves are made.
I read that on his twitter account. Yes, he does know who it is and I am wondering…..maybe if we all send him a message or two for his buddy to say something to them about Frankie, this guy just might do it. I know that Evil D usually makes fun of almost everyone who makes some kind of post but, I think that we are all big enough that we could take a little jabbing at by Evil D and then let it go so we try and make a point and try to save Nicole. If anyone is in for this, please post so we can all get together and flood his twitter at one time so he will get our messages….I think I have the link to his twitter page re BB so let me know and I can post it.

Can you explain more about this? Its the first I’ve heard of the ‘shouting over the wall’. I thought this was filmed on a CBS set and no one could just walk into the area. I’ve often wondered about that, though. Thanks much!
Yes it is on a CBS set. I’m not sure how the set is layed out. But the “shouters” are reported to come from “across the river”. Which means they would not actually be on the set and therefore not within CBS control. Guess that’s why they use a megaphone when doing the “shouting”.

Hey Cat, and anyone watching the feeds. Did you see a recent conversation between the four guys (and Christine was there too) in the fire room talking about … getting drunk and … how shall I put it … “taking Victoria’s virginity”?? I haven’t been on the feeds, but I saw the clip on YouTube. Don’t know exactly when it happened. Some are saying it was talking about r@pe, but I don’t think so. It was just a seriously filthy, revolting laugh-fest – ala BB15. Even involved Zingbot….
Yeah i saw it. Can’t remember exactly when. But they were vile about it. Also can’t remember if the r@pe word was mentioned. But they all laughed about it. It will really hurt her when she sees it.

I agree. That’s why I say what is wrong with these people after they’re locked in this house together for so long?!? I mean, what are they odds that CBS could find ANOTHER 5-6 people to be crude and classless AGAIN?! I mean, you actually have to work hard at that! Or do basically decent people CHANGE in the house?!
Donny didn’t – so no they don’t have to change in the house. Which tells me their mean streaks have always been there. The only think the house does is bring them to the forefront.
I tend to agree. It’s just so hard to believe they found so many people who think this sort of conversation is okay among decent people. Two years in a row. I still shudder at the way Spencer talked about women last year. He was a revolting human being. This sort of convo would have been right up his alley.
The younger the hg, the more likely this type of conversation will occur. Not that there’s not good young people out there. But an actual, full grown adult does not talk this way. They’re mature enough to know which lines not to cross.
Yeah, even the weakest people could at least leave the room under pretense of getting something to drink or going to the bathroom. I remember last season pointing out that these convos NEVER took place around Helen. Because they instinctively knew she wouldn’t approve or – at bare minimum – would have left the room. More reason this house is just a bunch of group-thinkers. You can’t tell me Christine enjoyed that conversation. Yet she didn’t have the decency to say “Aw guys, come on…” or leave the room.

Because I watched the video. I suppose it’s possible she left AFTER the video ended, but she was silent through several minutes of the worst of it.

It could be argued that Christine was actually the one that got it going. She said to Cody to “Don’t make love to Victoria tonight”. And that’s all it took for them to cross lines that can’t be uncrossed.

This (and some of the horrid things said late last season) is what gets me wondering about what happens to people in the bb house. I’m not say these are good folk who are breathing idiot gas or something, but I think there is something inherent in being locked up in these unusual circumstances that lowers the hgs inhibitions. You have to have some indecency in you it participate at all, I agree. But as Cat has pointed out, these are immature people. And there is something to be said for the seduction of going along to get along. They are in that house paranoid about “putting a target on their back” in any number of ways. You have the peer pressure, of sorts, to NOT make waves. For WEEKS. Now, no one in that room even looked uncomfortable with the conversation, I admit. But I honestly wonder if some of them wouldn’t have responded differently 5 weeks ago. Before all inhibitions had fallen. These people bond in an abnormal way. How else do you explain the spooning with complete strangers. And the complete forgiveness of horrible actions after they leave the house.

I did see that. Frankie was encouraging Cody and Caleb to take “all of her virginities” her being Victoria. Derric mentioned that Victoria’s father was watching and so e didn’t know what to do!!!!! Frankie is despicable. I bet his sister is so proud.

I agree the men been ruling the house since day 1 never thinking bout towards the end where they have to turn on each other or thinking why keep strong guys in the house wouldn’ t u want to keep the weaker players and get rid of the stronger players . Good morning everyone. Heading off to the hospital. I still have hope for saving Nicole. It’s slim but anythings possible. Looking forward to seeing the juror’s faces seeing Donny. As for Derrick.. he’s the only one playing a smart game (other than Nicole}. I have to give him that. The rest are blind or chicken.

Well, just when you think the behavior of the houseguests couldn’t possibly get any worse, the addition of alcohol into the mix last night has brought new lows on the bad behavior chart. My God!!!! First a drunk Frankie is even more paranoid about America loving Donny..I don’t think he will ever recover. And he doesn’t even know about Bold and Beautiful. Then Frankie and Cody openly “fondling” each other’s butts until Even Christine told them to stop. When they were in the HOH room, Calleb left and went downstairs and said Cody was going to have a sore butt in the morning! Of course Caleb was also drunk, and said his only competition ffor favorite houseguest was Frankie and Donny, but that he would beat them both and woukd spend a lot of time signing autographs. The whole time Victoria was drunk on the kitchen floor and couldnt get up. And it went on and on.
I saw a bit of the fondling and the “bu//” talk (I can’t even bring myself to type it…). Frankie said it first in the HoH room, which is probably where Caleb got it. I watched the first hour of BBAD and gave up. That’s when I commented the house after all females left would be intolerable – unless they remove all alcohol. Honestly, CBS, are you TRYING to get them to cause controversy? Sadly, I think so.
Just read that Caleb is really pushing to BD Frankie….but Derrick is so against it and is giving him answers as to why he should not BD Frankie but, from what I just read, Caleb really wants Frankie out….it may just happen….we can only hope
