Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Results – Power of Veto Week 12
|We have a very big Veto Competition for Week 12 on Big Brother 2014, as the guys have a plan to get rid of Frankie, but if he can repeat his veto victory, then none of it matters. Derrick has been studying that Memory Wall ever since the live eviction show ended on Big Brother 16 on Wednesday night and he was determined to win this thing. Was he successful? Since there are only five HGs remaining on Big Brother 16, all of them participate in the Veto Competition and now the results are in. The winner of the Power of Veto for Week 12 is Cody!!!

This is amazing news because he will not be using it, so it will stay Frankie and Victoria on the block and Frankie will be walking through those doors. The problem: it won’t be a live show! They are doing this eviction probably on Monday and air it on Tuesday. Either way, it looks like Frankie is gone!!! The Veto Meeting should be on Sunday, so we’ll see for sure, but Derrick will get in Cody’s ears and not let him do anything crazy and then it is Cody and Derrick voting and that is all that matters!

I don’t even know what to say. I know this is just a dream. It has to be. I can’t wait to see Frankie walk through that door. I hope he gets booed and I hope when he gets to the jury room he gets the same treatment that Christine did.
It was the same morph competition? I hope they changed up the ‘mix’. Will they still have a studio audience if they tape the eviction? Is there another eviction on Wed? I’ve gotta go back to read the probable ‘schedule of events’ you posted. Cody did that in remarkable time! Can’t wait to see the comp and Frankie’s face when he realized he lost!!!

Okay. Finally some game playing. I could not stand hearing Caleb on BBAD last night. OMG, I didn’t realize that his arm reached back so far so that can pat himself on the back. Really? He is going to be as shocked when he is in Jury as Frankie will. Enough about those two, let’s move on to the finale.
What I would like to see if Cody or Derrick win HOH this week. Put up Caleb and Victoria and convince him he is the pawn. Someone other than Caleb win POV, send him packing to Jury house right after his prince ss and watch Derrick and Cody make final 2.

Derrick will100% take Victoria to F2. That is one of the reasons he dragged her to the end with him. Anyone up against her and its a 9-0 win for them.

Typical disappointment for BB16, though, CBS will be able to manipulate what we see in relation to this much anticipated moment.
They most assuredly will cut and paste what we want to see with this eviction. I’m not really concerned that it’s not a live show though. It’s usually not when it comes down to the F5 eviction. Mainly because they screw up the viewing days and the live feeds. Either way, satisfaction will be ours.

I wonder if Derrick threw this comp. I think there is a distinct possibility he did. After yesterdays convos with Frankie, he would be in the hot seat if he won it and didn’t save him. I’m sure he was just hedging his bets in case Frankie won POV. Now excuse me while i go do my little happy dance 🙂
I don’t know about that, Cat. Pretty risky considering the odds of Frankie winning veto. I’m beginning to think Derrick really just can’t win comps….
It was in Derricks best interest NOT to win POV. He has built good will with Frankie (like he has all the other evicted hgs before they left). His jury vote is what he wants. If he HAD won then all that work would have been for nothing since he wouldn’t have used it. And made a liar of himself in Frankies eyes about the TA loyalty crap (and other things). And if Frankie had won then the smoke blowing kept him in his good graces. Derrick is usually 2 steps ahead of everyone else. Whether he is good or not at comps i’m not sure. But i do know he’s good at manipulation. And hedging your bets in BB is usually a smart thing to do.
Yeah, you do make me wonder. He was studying so hard all week and then to lose it? It was risky, though, to throw it. Derrick is good, but I just don’t know if he would take that chance this far along.
Wow. If that’s true – and I’d put money on your instincts – that takes guts. I mean at this point the risk of keeping Frankie and Frankie taking him out was high. And he had no guarantee anyone but Frankie would win veto. If it was me, I’d rather risk losing Frankie’s jury vote than trusting him to take me to f2.
I look at it this way….If Frankie had won, Victoria would have been going home, even if Derrick was on the block beside her. Caleb believes that Derrick is not liked by the jury (thanks to Derrick and Victoria). Keeping the alliance intact would have been Derricks argument. And we all know Caleb is for doing that. If Frankie had won and the vote was split (Cody evicting Victoria and Frankie evicting Derrick), the argument still stands that Caleb could be convinced to oust Victoria. Four alliance members making it to F4 is a big deal with him. Plus Caleb believes ANY of them can beat Derrick in the end. They would convince him that it was HIM that got the alliance to the F4. Caleb is easily manipulated. Throwing the POV to Cody, Victoria or Caleb is not that big of a stretch. Victoria would obviously take herself off the block if she had won and no matter which one Caleb nommed to take her place, Frankie would be a goner. Victoria and Cody both would keep him safe. And if Cody were the replacement then Derrick can assuredly convince Victoria to vote Frankie out. Even though i’m not convinced Derrick is good at comps, this particular POV was right up his alley. A cop spends a good bit of time studying sketches of perps and wanted posters. So a good memory is an asset. Not to mention that Derrick almost beat Frankie. 23 seconds separated them the first time. I absolutely wouldn’t be surprised if he threw it.
Me neither since he did say he had a photographic memory. Derrick is very cunning so I don’t put it past him to have thrown it.
I believe he lost it fair and square, but he “Got Game”….He’d have my Vote.
I agree with you Cat. I believe that Derrick threw the Veto. If he had won it, then he would have had to use it on Frankie after the talk that they had. Everything that you said in your post is right….I agree. The big surprise was that Cody won it in such a small amount of time. Derrick has been talking to each of the evicted hgs before they left…so that when it did come down to it, their vote would go to Derrick. Derrick has played a great game, to the point of securing the soon to be evicted hg vote. Seems like he really started to play this game before the game even started. I believe that he took the time to map out his plan of attack, so to say, almost down to the very last detail.
I am in agreement with everything you said. Derrick looks long range game and does not live in the moment very often.
Good news indeed but if evicted offline, we will not get the BOOH he so deserves…. let’s see if his charm can do some magic in the Jury House. Let’s hope he gets the same treatment Christine got when she walked in!!!
LOL! Of course, I love that he is leaving but I wish they could send him somewhere other than the jury house! Except for Christine, I feel so sorry for the others. They should put him and Christine in a separate area.

Aww…that is the most adorable picture. Takes me back to the Monterrey Aquarium where I must have spent over an hour watching this little guy’s cousins cavorting in the water! (Thanks for giving me the chance to use the word “cavorting”–don’t think I have ever written it before, LOL!)

And who knows when I will be able to use that word again! It really does apply to the behavior of otters, I think–they are to me some of the most adorable critters on the face of the earth and I really did find it hard to move away from the otter pool that day. The Monterrey Aquarium was one of the items on my “Bucket List” and I decided I really should see some of the other critters!
So a big “THANK YOU!” for bringing back that wonderful memory!
Now let’s just hope we can manage to pull at least one good memory from this disappointing BB season.

Ugh! The cute little otters were having fun and bringing smiles to everyone’s faces — the cavorting of Frankie and Caleb is nausea-inducing! 😉 😉

But yes, they are nauseating. Watching them dance together is cringe-worthy. They seem to think they are professional dancers but what they fail to realize is that America is laughing at them, and not in a good way. Frankie with his hands in his hair and pursing his lips at the camera and mirrors…I can’t. And Caleb constantly posing in the mirror…he is just vile. What really cracks me up is that they both think they have a shot at winning fan favorite LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I can’t wait to see the look on their faces when they hear the name Donny with Nicole being the next closest one LOLOLOLOL. I only wish I could hear the crowd boo when Frankie is evicted. Any idea why there won’t be a crowd????
Todd says this happens every season that there is one taped eviction at this time it just happened to fall when Frankie is evicted. When they do the taping, there will be an audience but it will be made up of CBS employees and their guests. Apparently, the employees are always told not to boo but Cat says we can still hope the guests will do so! Keeping fingers crossed.
After Frankie is evicted, all of us can go cavorting though our living rooms, media rooms, kitchens, lawns, the streets, etc.!!!!
I had heard that the audiences were told not to boo but they booed sweet little Aaryn…I laughed my butt off lol. Hearing Christine get booed was another one that I cracked up laughing at…I wanted to see her cry dammit!!….but I also want to see Frankie cry and Caleb and Derrick….I’m not asking for much lmfao.
That would be the most exciting thing that has happened on BB in a looonnnggg time!
The ‘luxury’ comp was too f’n funny!!!!! Watching them destroy the house after they had busted their butts cleaning it….karma!!!!!! And their response was to call them bitter…puhleeze!!! I mean yeah, they are bitter, who wouldn’t be…but….if it were me, I would have torn it up far worse to get 5K lol. I was so happy that Victoria got the money and not any of them LOLOL. Zach got butthurt that he was second out but the best part was Crustina being knocked out first…lmao!!!!! Best comp of the season!!! Pretty good episode….made up for having such a predictable season. I gotta admit…I got great satisfaction seeing Frankie’s butt pucker when he was put on the block….it will be epic watching the look on his face when he is evicted!!!! BTW, what part of Texas are you in? I’m spitting distance north of Houston. Native Houstonian actually.
I am in the Hill Country near Kerrville but, more importantly, just about 50 miles from San Antonio.
That is my folks favorite place to travel. The just adore Hill Country, especially Boerne.
Yep, lots of folks from the Houston area like to come here–could it have something to do with the fact that we normally have a lot less humidity here?!
And Boerne is actually where my ex and I thought we would live when we moved to this area but then I got a job in Kerrville. I do like Boerne–really a neat place to go.
