Not sorry to see Audrey go…what a disappointment.
This ghost of a weirdo bears no resemblance to the beautiful woman who entered the house, and we though she was going to play a great game with Vanessa and Shelli on night one! What an age ago….
Yeah, she was one of my early favorites and seemed so strong in her pre-interviews. She is probably one of my biggest disappointments this season.
And my biggest surprise was/is John. I didn’t expect to like him. I hope he wins the game but if he doesn’t it’s ok because he has gained a huge fan club. He may not be the best player but he leaves an indelible impression.
It’s weird, too, because I’ve noticed several people elsewhere comment on how they can’t exactly figure out WHY they like him so much, they just do. Same here.
Yeah, it’s elusive. But he’s somewhat like that friend everyone has that is always doing kooky things but you love them anyway because deep down they’re a decent person. And they make you laugh. I’m a sucker for anyone that can make me laugh.
He’s been my fav from day one. He sounds and acts just like my nephew who is also named John.
I feel just like you Cat. John was the one I thought i would dislike the most and now I like him the most.
I agree
back to the future news flash Austin wins HOH gets letter from home. Dear Austin/Judas it’s over your x girlfriend
Anyone votes John in your poll, and I’m going to suspect Austin is out of the house voting on this website!
Hope to see the gang here tonight to chat!!
I vote for you as queen of understatements lol
Hahaha!
Or Audrey has a twin.
Bite your tongue. How awful would that be?
not as horrible as austin having one
looks like he is still in the house 108-0 has there ever been a unanimous vote before?
Audrey had every chance in the world to make things work for her. Why? Dávonne was right when she told Julie that the HGs were scared to be the one to remove the transgender HG, regardless if this fear was conscious or subconscious. Whereas I wouldn’t really do anything to exploit my uniqueness, I certainly would ride that wave as long as I could.
Yet she couldn’t keep her mouth shut. The “last straw” conversation with Clay started because SHE started running her mouth. All she had to do was shut up. She would have gotten through this week for sure…and who knows how long she would have made it afterwards. She reminds me of those girls in high school who just lived to gossip. Lived to chitchat. They were the ones who’d say “they hated the drama” where they really loved it. Diarrhea of the mouth.
My opinion (and this is just my opinion) is that CBS focused on the Whackstreet Boys last night was their way of wanting to put this Audrey disaster behind them. They were supposed to be seen as social crusaders by putting Audrey on the show and letting her be a hero for her bravery. Turns out that their “hero” (or is it heroine…man, that’s a deep discussion for another day) was a basket case, so they showed enough of their footage to make casual viewers realize that she dug her own grave, but not nearly enough to show that Audrey was bats**t crazy. Because then…CBS would be blamed for bullying the transgender player when that’s clearly not the case. Instead, the Whackstreet Boys was their way to keep the episode light instead of focusing on the fact that their hero was holed up in the diary room for hours and hours.
Whatever. I’m gay, and I have no love lost for her. At the end of the day, she was a houseguest on the show that did HORRIBLY and as a result, she’s going home. Has nothing to do with who she is. That said, she was on borrowed time anyway. Like Mac Attack said, “my strategy this week is to do absolutely nothing.” (He then went on to say the game is his side project and he’s more focused on “the band,” which cracked me up.) He doesn’t have to campaign to anyone because Audrey is going to go home unanimously (unless someone gives her a pity vote or a vote cast to confuse the other HGs as to who did it) and that’s that. Will she go down as the worst player in history? Nah. But at the end of the day, her tenure in the game (and, in relation, her BB legacy) went up in smoke because of her own paranoia and imbecility.
Standing and clapping! Well said. I knew we were going to see a lot of Whackstreet Boys last night. Much as I love Jason and John, after about 20 seconds, the only word that came to mind was “LAME.” They milked what would normally have consumed 15 seconds in an exciting week for like 2 minutes so they could summarize 5 hours of drama in the last 10 seconds.
Very well said. Actually i think her notoriety will only increase. She’s a first in the BB house. First does not mean best, but just a beginning. CBS can still exploit it without promoting Audrey as the example. Or they can say that Audreys eviction proves that they are non-biased towards alternate lifestyles but alternate lifestyles don’t keep you in the game longer. It’s actually a win/win for CBS. Anytime the fans are bit*ching and moaning about a hg, it’s money in their pocket. So i doubt they would be willing to discard a cash cow.
I don’t know if anyone is watching TAR Canada but we also have a first transgender competing.
well put
Such a good statement here. Very well said!
Well said.
Agreed, well said!
sure would be interesting if the two invisible players win HOH. AKA jackie and becky
I luv me some Jmac, but the Whackstreet Boy was lame.
I forgot to mention in the Live Feeds recap, but Audrey talked about not doing press afterwards and having a speech ready and a non-interview with Julie, or something along those lines. If so, why would production talk her into staying?
As i said above, money. Audrey draws people in, whether they want to be drawn in or not. And that means higher ratings. They are certainly not altruistic in their agenda.
OK rebooted the computer this is a test to see if this post will show up on the site
You’re good to go. I’m not so sure about ME though. I have to refresh to get new comments to show up on the page.
Yep, I see you too.
The votes are currently 171 to 1, so Austin did make it here to vote….or is it Steve, as America’s Player???
There definitely is something wrong with that girl, not just her game play.
