Big Brother Spoilers: Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd’s Australian Vacation
|One showmance that has stayed strong on Big Brother has been between Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, even though no engagement ring has been given yet! Well, the Big Brother couple recently took a vacation to Australia and maybe Jeff popped the question to Jordan while there??? While Jeff has been keeping himself very busy doing various things for CBS, I guess this trip was a vacation for the happy couple. As it turns out, Jeff and Jordan were in the audience at the Ellen Show when she gave everyone tickets to Australia! Jeff and Jordan cashed in on those tickets and enjoyed some time alone together!

Today is better than yesterday. Yesterday we got a LOT of rain (at least it wasn’t snow) and extremely windy. Today it’s cloudy but not as windy. It is 6 Celsius (42.8 Fahrenheit)
If it gets below 80 I am always freezing, lol
I’ve lived in Toronto, Canada all my life and am very used to the colder temperatures – I actually love the 4 seasons.
What would we do without Todd ladies. You all make my days working from home a pleasure. Such cool folks on here, and TY some of the sites like the vine/ msn people are mean.
Totally agree with you Carol and you all make my day as well – I had to take early retirement due to illness and you all help fill my day so much.
that is cool Mary, I love talking with folks. I work for a company in NC as a Sales Rep, and have clients all over even in Italy. Love it so much.
BTW Mary, I would love someday to visit Canada. From the photos I see that place is awesome. We get the 4 seasons here in SC where I live, and I love it as well. I lived in florida for 26 years and left because I could not handle the heat anymore.
If you ever do come to Canada Carol, it would be nice to meet you – maybe have lunch. I get around pretty good now – I still have issues but not nearly as bad as when I retired.
Girl that would be awesome. I have a friend in AZ I call her everyday because she lives along and her son is off to college. If she don’t answer the phone on my second call to her I get in touch with her son. She is elderly and you never know what could happen and she is along. I have never met her after 15 years and we talk everyday 🙂

Sorry but i’m voting with Karen on this one. I’ve never been a J/J fan. Yes they make a lovely couple and i do love a nice syrupy love story now and again. But – TOO much of a good thing becomes sickening after a while. I actually like Jordan more than Jeff. He had a few issues on BB (anger management, homophobic slurs). The powers that be edited him favorably and turned him and Jordan into Americas sweethearts. Maybe they can overlook his rants on the show – but i haven’t forgotten.
By the way – CBS also had to put out a statement about not condoning Jeffs actions or language while in the BB house. As you can see, Aaryn and GM were not the first to go down the road of bigotry and homophobia. CBSs own golden boy paved the way for their behavior. Yet they continue to employ and promote him. Editing is everything in designing public opinion huh?

Good morning ladies and gents :). Somehow i don’t think this is a good day for sunbathing. The sun has decided to take an extended vacation and he left jack frost to take care of the place. 23 degrees (-5 C) – brrrrrrrr!
GM Cat, no I do not think that is good sun bathing weather. WOW 23 now that is cold. Must be what they are stating we have coming to us soon.

Lol..The Mayor (Rob Ford) of Toronto had his new tv show cancelled after ONE day. Pretty bad when a second rate network wants nothing to do with you. Guess there’s not much interest in a reality show featuring a crack smoking mayor?

Canadians have “Boxing Day”. Dec 26th. It’s basically the same madness only done on the day after Christmas. Quite a few Canadians cross the border on black friday to get in on the deals and craziness along the border states. As for me – i don’t care if it’s black friday or boxing day – I’M STAYING HOME!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Joycelyne! Question for ya – Is it bad etiquette to listen to Christmas music a week before Thanksgiving? I think i’ve crossed a line. Emily Post, Dear Abby and Martha Stewart have put me on their “inappropriate” list. I don’t mind. At least Santa approves :).
Hey Cat, there is a local station here that started playing Christmas music after Halloween … and will go 24/7 after Thanksgiving! Must be popular because they’ve been doing it for a few years now. (My daughter pulls out her all-time-favorite movie, “Home Alone”, several times a year.) So you’re in some good company!
Cat, There is absolutely nothing wrong with listening to Christmas music a week before Thanksgiving, nothing whatsoever. I love Christmas it’s my favorite time of the year. I love the sounds, the sights, the smell, the taste everything. Believe me Cat, I crossed that line a long time ago. I’ve been playing some of my favorite Christmas CDs for the past two weeks now, and I’m not the least bit embarrassed, So good on you, play your Christmas music a week before Thanksgiving and enjoy. Santa approves, and I approve.

Good Morning Carol and all to follow. It’s a lovely, snowy day here. 30 degrees. Guess i will be putting up the Christmas tree this coming weekend. I know it’s early but i’m excited :).
Not really too early Cat. I wanted to do mine last weekend and hubby said no way. I like to have it up during Thanksgiving dinner, but he would not go for that. But I will get it up soon. We have ice here this morning and it is really nasty out. I hope we do not lose power we usually do when we get ice.
Thats exactly why i have a generator. All hell can be breaking loose outside but i’m nice and cozy no matter what. Be careful if you’re out and about today. Wouldn’t want you to be eating turkey while wearing a cast. Although that might be a good place to hide an extra piece of pecan pie!
I heard that Cat. We have a generator but a small one and it will only do appliances and stoves and stuff like that. We have a fireplace so we will for sure be warm. Hey I really got hubby good last week on Survivor, he is telling everyone how I always know what is going to happen, lol got to love it.
