Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Battle of the Block Results – Week 2
|It looks like the HouseGuests on Big Brother 16 will be celebrating the Fourth of July while sleeping because the producers of Big Brother 2014 have kept them up all night with Nomination Ceremonies and now the Battle of the Block competition! Yes, the Week 2 nominees were done overnight and the Battle of the Block competition started this morning (or still night for them)! We have no clue what the HGs did for the competition, but here are the results of the Battle of the Block for Week 2:

- Winners – Hayden and Nicole, so they are off the block and dethrone Amber as HoH)
- Losers – Brittany and Paola, so they remain on the block for Week 2
- Final HoH for Week 2 – Devin
Some things we know about from this competition:
- Devin wants Brittany gone because she makes him so nervous and he is saying no game talk this week unless he says so…this should go well!
- They looked at pictures and maybe a memory game of some sort. Hayden said it was nerve wracking and Nicole (a BB fanatic) said she has never seen this competition before!
- After winner announced, Devin made a fake gun and shot it at Brittany.
We should see Power of Veto competition on Saturday and Veto Meeting on Monday, so maybe a quiet day ahead of us for the holiday?

I do not like Devin! I think he’s a paranoid bully. So far, I am not impressed with any of the HG or their game play. Same crap, different season. The girls never seem to get a clue. They should know by now that all the guys stick together every season to form all guy alliances. Girls are too catty to stick together. I hope things pickup a bit and someone rocks the boat. Hoping the season gets better, but…
Yep, that’s Devin to a T. Paranoid, bully and faker. The only person i’m half way impressed by is Frankie. At least he has a social game. And not too bad at comps. I love Donny. At first i thought his social game sucked but how bad can it suck if all the house guests love you? And he did win POV the first time. As for the girls…..very few women in the history of BB have been boat rockers (Janelle, Rachel). I’d personally love to see Christine throw a kink into things. I thought Amber was going to play a good game but she’s allowed Devin to do her work for her. It’s a shame really. The girls all claimed in their interviews that they wanted an all girl alliance. And of course they do the exact opposite.
So true….they all were Girl Power in the alliance, but none stuck to it. Maybe Christine and Nicole could stick together, if they could get any type of power!
Amber is a mess and needs to go so we can see the meltdown from Caleb, but hoping she leaves a hat and pair of shorts for him to cry into!
It’s the same story every season. The girls seem to be intimidated by the guys. The girls are always bragging in their interviews about how tough they are, and how they’re going to change the season, and it’s all “girl power,” until a guy steps up to the reigns and takes it from their hands.
Totally agree with you Cat! I’m not impressed with many of the HG, but I do like Frankie’s sense of humor and the fact that he does live in the “real world” and not fantasy land like Devin. Donny is a sweetheart, but BB fans all know how the game ends for the sweetheart player. The season is still new, so hopefully someone will get a clue to the all guy alliance and shake things up a bit, before it’s too late. I can’t wait to see Amber’s face when she realizes that she’s a nincompoop…haha
Actually, Amber and Christine should have a clue as to an all guy alliance. Devin brought them into the BS (on his own naturally) but they were last minute recruits. So if this doesn’t tell them that they are low men (girls) on the totem pole then i don’t know what would. Amber will be around for a while now that shes made Calebs day with a promise of a date after the show and confirmed to him (in his mind) that she wants him. Idiot! Christine is a bit more game savvy. And has built an alliance with Nicole (and a few others). But if she thinks they wouldn’t kick her to the curb then she’s not as smart as i think. They (BS) have talked about how smart she is. And she has said she would “dumb it down” in order to keep them off her trail. Why do women have to do that!!! Maybe it’s smart….at least in the game of BB but i seriously hope she doesn’t do it in real life.
I think Amber is “all in” with the guy’s alliance, but I’m hoping that Christine is playing them. She seems too smart to fall for the guy’s “I have your back” BS. I was reading her interview and she was asked; “Do you have a strategy for winning Big Brother?” and she replied; “I plan on being nice and having everyone confide in me to get information from all over the house. I really want to have a strong pack with only three to four people that I stay loyal to till the end. I don’t want to play both sides of the house, but I’m not saying I won’t.” So, hopefully Christine is not a complete idiot.
Lets hope she sticks to her strategy. She did say in the diary room that she wants to take Nicole to the end. Maybe they can support each other in this effort. It’s always easier when you have a “true” alliance. Of course push comes to shove sooner or later. And they have to have the numbers to accomplish their goal. But so far it’s looking like math is not the other house guests strong suit. 🙂
Devin has some serious mental issues. I hope he is going to go cray cray and they will send him home.

I could only wish that ALL the house guests – every time Devin walks by them – BOLDLY “talk strategy” whether it is real or not. Somebody just needs to get his Goat, badly. Mr. Tough Guy And cut it out with this unanimous house vote thing-y. That is no fun for anyone!!!
I see Caleb is another Brendon! If Amber is smart she will keep batting her eyes and keep him to do all her dirty work. Devin is really unstable, how he passed his mental evaluation to be in there I don’t know?!?! So far I like Christine and Nicole! Hopefully they will team up with Derrick and Cody!
