Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Live Feeds Recap – 7/7/2014
|Unless you were sleeping under a rock yesterday, you should have heard that some major events took place in the Big Brother 2014 house yesterday and things got wild, chaotic and very vocal after the Veto Meeting on Big Brother 16 for Week 2! There was so much information and alliances being outed and Bomb Squads being blown up, I don’t know where to begin! Check out some highlights in our Big Brother 2014 spoilers below!

Needless to say, Zach went up on the block as a renom after Devin took down Brittany, he heated rival turned crush. They are both single parents and he is in love now, which we all saw coming! The Veto Meeting got ugly, so I am intrigued to see how much of it CBS shows us tomorrow night! Zach called out Devin and Frankie and made some low blows along the way, which I am torn on. He was angry and we all have said stupid things while ticked off.
To be honest, I don’t know where anyone stands in the house and who is being honest with who. Derrick seems to be campaigning to keep Zach around. Team America seems to be sticking together and siding with keeping Zach, even though Frankie has been all over the map. Keep him to some people and vote him out to others. Derrick wants Zach to make nice with Caleb and Devin.
Nicole and Christine seemed to strengthen their alliance, even though Christine had to smooth over some things when the Bomb Squad was revealed and she said she was forced into it. Amber tried to cover her tracks with the HoH nominations and not knowing that Paola was going to throw the competition. Paola also said she did not throw it and Zach called her out on it big time, which got a “you’re a bully” response.
This day was beyond exciting and has me pumped for Big Brother 2014! I think the season officially began yesterday and it will be fun to watch this all play out over the next couple days. There is still plenty of time left and I think Zach, despite his huge blowup, could stay in the game and Devin needs to watch out for next week, even though Caleb could be a target more since he keeps calm in pressure situations unlike Devin.
And Donny has finally woken up and started to play the game! He is working with Team America and trying to make deals and saying who should or should not stay. Maybe we sparked something in him???

I’ll be honest, I’m nervous. At this point – at least with Zach as the catalyst this week – the lines are being drawn (as of last night – so it could be different today!) between the guys and the girls + Frankie. For whatever reason, Frankie wants Zach G.O.N.E. gone. Problem is the guys (and by that I mean Derrick, Zach, Cody & Hayden) still trust Frankie. They told him their entire plan, and Frankie ran – ala Andy – to the room with Amber, Jacosta and Pao and told them every word!
Unfortunately, Derrick (one of my favs so far) must be more comfortable working with guys, so he is just trying to keep Zach in. If the tide of the house really turned, he’d switch in a heartbeat, but the fact that Frankie still says he voting to keep Zach is fueling Derrick’s strategy. And it may hang him. Why doesn’t he have a heart-to-heart with Christine?!?
So – in the next 48 hours – unless Frankie’s deceit gets outed, or he finds a way to persuade Cody and Derrick that Zach is a lost cause, Thursday could get VERY interesting. And the battle lines would be drawn between the males and the females (plus Frankie). Problem with that is? The male side of the house would then be outnumbered, and would also include two volatile, not-to-be-trusted nut cases!
So I’m worried for my man Derrick. Still kinda like Cody – though he isn’t as smart. My ideal alliance? Derrick, Christine, Hayden, Donny, probably Frankie (though he’s losing me with his Andy-like behavior last night), and Nicole.
But who knows? Something or someone in that house today is likely to turn everything I just said upside down!!!

From what i’ve seen this morning (very little), Derrick and Cody are pumping Zach up and telling him he has the votes to stay. Although to be fair, Derrick told him that some of the ones he THINKS he has, he may not. And i’m thinking that might include his. He named no names of course but he’s trying to not let Zachs tongue get ahead of his head. And Frankie is still lying to Zach. He tells him that he’s with him but has to act like he’s not so if Zach hears Frankie wants to vote him out from someone….it’s a lie. It’s the truth….Frankie wants him gone. And if Zach buys that then he deserves to be evicted!
I’m a bit worried about Christines role in all of this. Both sides think they have her. I’m not sure which one does. Until i see her diary room i’m not betting either way. Her explanation to Nicole about Devin “making” her join the BS does not pass the smell test. She’s using the old “the Devin made me do it” line. But she still kept it from Nicole. Smart? Maybe. But now she has to backpedal and it just might have put doubt in Nicoles mind as to Christines true allegiance.
And for the most important piece of info revealed last night…..Brittney is onto Devin. Meaning she thinks he’s up to something when he says he likes her. Which, by the way, he asked Frankie to inform her of. Now if he had just sent her a note with “check yes or no” to if she likes him… this whole grade school scenario would be complete.
With these HGs, two days is way too long! By Thursday night, the main target will have switched a dozen times and no one will know until they sit down and tell Julie their vote!
It’s around 11:00 here. By noon minds will have changed at least 3 times. Only twice if they’ve stopped to take a nap.
Oh my gosh, Cat. I can always count on you for a chuckle! Yea, I saw the scene last night in the hammock where Brittany told Nicole about Devin liking her and giving her a pickle instead of a flower. Her problem is she is thinking logically that this is all some stupid ploy to get her as an ally. No right-thinking woman would believe the knucklehead actually is CRUSHING on her in the tv monitor after he wanted her O.U.T. out like 4 days ago!!
I think Nicole bought Christine’s story. Shoot, I think Christine bought Christine’s story! Remember, Devin pulled Amber and Christine into the B.S. at like 4:30 in the morning! They were stunned. And I’ve never taken the B.S. seriously anyway because 2 of its members were volatile idiots – so maybe Christine didn’t either and wanted to let it play out. Besides you say BULLY in the same sentence with Devin in this house … and the person you’re talking to just starts nodding!
Earlier in the day, Cody was actually asking permission from Devin to not cast his vote against Zach because Cody knew the vote was a foregone conclusion – he just felt like he couldn’t vote against his bud – and Derrick and he were talking about accepting the inevitable. So maybe this is just a half-hearted attempt on their part. Problem is Frankie is lying to them, and so are several of the girls now.
Britt is a smart cookie. The only people that go from hate to love within a week are 5th graders, deranged personalities or people with an agenda. And i’m assuming Devin passed 5th grade a long time ago. As for Christine, i still think it was a bad move not to inform Nicole of the BS. It’s niggling little doubts that can cause problems. And i just hope she hasn’t planted the seed of one in Nicoles head.

Thank you everyone. This is why I love this site. There are solid fans of the game who know the ins and outs. This is the first offical blow up and I think everyone is right we will not know who is gone until Julie announces it. I am disappointed in Frankie. The Andy like behavior is what turned America against Andy, you would think Frankie would know better. Derrick, Christine, Hayden, Donny wold be a great alliance better if you throw in Brittney. Her role would be to cuddle up to the boys and feed info to the new alliance, thoughts?
This is an interesting season in that there are a lot of HGs to root for (exact OPPOSITE of last year!). IF – and that’s a big IF, believe it or not – the HGs get rid of Devin and then maybe Caleb, I think things will change a bit. Right now, everyone has their toe in 14 alliances because no one knows what’s gonna happen next.
The next HoH could make things really interesting in shaping the rest of the game. Heaven forbid it’s Caleb again – another potentially tyrannical reign with the peasants living and reacting in fear (and Frankie running around convincing everyone to love him)!
Honestly, I think Frankie’s number is about to be called. Especially if this week’s vote is split. No more hiding for him, and I’m not sure what his game will become if it can’t be “beloved by everyone”!
I think Frankie would still be doing his best Andy impression if it weren’t for Zachs volatile behavior. After the bomb explosion yesterday Frankie had to decide which side he was coming down on. He could no longer “float like a butterfly and sting like a bee”. From what i’ve seen he’s chosen the side of potential comp winners. Which is not the smartest thing to do since not all comps are physical. But if you remember in Frankies interview he said he wanted to align with jocks and he would provide the social game. What he didn’t count on was his social game being revealed as a lie. He will be one heck of a player if he can put the “Frankie for President” show back together. I don’t think he can. The only thing that might help him….and i say MIGHT…..is TA. Will he use it against Derrick and Donny ? It’s possible he could if he wants to garner favor with other hgs. But he should tread lightly.
I’m not sure, Cat. The “guys” (Derrick, Hayden, Cody & Zach) were swallowing what he was casting last night hook, line and sinker. So were Amber, Jacosta, and Pao in the other room. (I really can’t WAIT to see what happened at that PoV ceremony!!!) This week will be crucial for his ability to lay-low afterwards. If the entire house votes out Zach, then he’s happy and “the guys” will just see it as Devin getting his way. I’m not sure I see a really strong anti-Frankie feeling in the house yet – though I have heard “don’t completely trust Frankie” from a couple of people.
And yes, I WOULD count on Frankie to use TA against Derrick and Donny if he gets backed into a corner.
Several people have noticed Frankies HOH room visits. They are numerous. And they’ve even compared him to Andy. Which tells me they are on to his strategy. I guess there is the possibility that Frankie will come down on the side of Zach. He’s as confused as the rest of them. But i will say that i don’t think he will be able to hide his gameplay as well as before. No matter who he casts a vote for.
Well, you’ve see a lot more live feeds that I have. It is ironic that Frankie will have to battle his own demons as well as the bad taste Andy left in everyone’s mouth last season. As soon as the bigger targets get out of the house (IF they do), people really may zero in on Frankie.
