Big Brother Over The Top: First Look at the New House!
|The Big Brother Over the Top crew department had one long week getting ready for the fall season. Not only did they interview 12 new houseguests, but they also had to redecorate and clean the Big Brother 18 house.
Earlier today, E!Online released an exclusive look at the new design. To honor the fall season, CBS made the Big Brother Over The Top house very fall and Halloween inspired. We see sprinkles of Halloween decor throughout the lounge and bedrooms
.
Executive Producer Allison Grodner had this to say about the new design.
Just four days the art department has been able to transform the main living areas from a summer vacation theme into a sophisticated city hotel with colors and decor ready for fun and scheming this fall…I think the brand new fitness room inspired lounge will be a welcome surprise for the houseguests with the changing autumn weather.
We can also still see some elements left over from the Big Brother 18 house. As Grodner addresses one of the noticeable changes is the fitness room. We can just imagine the wacky fitness classes that someone may try to hold in there.

Not as many changes as I’d have thought … though just cleaning that place in a week – much less redecorate – would have been a challenge! I wonder if the work-out room will somehow replace outside? It seems odd that they would put one in there. Maybe not….

I like it!! Hope the theme of the house plays into the show. I noticed on the chalkboard in the fitness room that they have tips from Ratty and Paul. Lets see if anyone takes them.

Anyone else watching these LAME live feeds?? I have to keep telling myself this is live because otherwise it’s the slowest-moving, most boring 15 minutes in the history of television!! (They started letting the hgs in one at a time … one about every 5 minutes! OMG!)
I don’t know which is worse: everyone screaming and hugging and awkwardly repeating themselves … or the freezing feeds on my Roku!!!
Somehow i knew that Kryssie (that’s Kryssie with a K mind you) would get on my nerves. How long have they been in there?….an hour?….yep, i’ll need medicating before the nights out.
Agreed. 55 minutes now. 8 people in the house. Geez……….! At least it isn’t as painful with more people in there. The first few … same awkward convos over and over again! This is ridiculous!
I have a soft spot for Whitney (from Kentucky). I’ve been in her home town (i’m also from Ky). It’s a hole in the wall with a stop sign for decoration.
She seems cute so far. I have a feeling I’m either gonna HATE Shelby … or she may grow on me. Jury’s out so far!

I HATED her after her interview, but she’s been kinda funny the last few minutes. I’m leaning toward hate…. But we’ll see.
How are you warming to Shelby so far? She was my preseason favorite and (right now), keeping that role.

Yay! He’s gonna have to make a lot of girls friends first in order to survive. But there isn’t a lot of traditional testosterone in this house, so I kinda feel sorry for the two studs!

I’m having difficulty keeping up with the feeds. My laptop isn’t ideal (small), but Roku keeps pausing and getting way behind, even though I keep rebooting (Jason just entered the house on Roku).
Krissy and Jason are gonna be best buds….
