It is the last episode before the live eviction show and hopefully some big time drama happens with the competition for one of the jury members to rejoin the Big Brother 2013 house! Last time on Big Brother 15, we saw Aaryn put up her nominees for Week 8 as the Head of Household. It was kind of a big move, but it was not what she wanted so much as what Amanda wanted. We last saw Helen and Elissa go up on the block, but will either win the Power of Veto and save themselves tonight? Who will the final nominees be for Week 8? I always look forward to the Diary Room. So lets see…Amanda will give us snark. Helen will give us tears. McCrae will give us another episode of how he has to control Amandas temper. Spencer will give us jokes. Elissa will give us the “where am i?” look along with Aaryn bashing. Aaryn will give us the “why am i the only one with blood on my hands?” speech. Andy will remind us of what a snake he is. And GM will give us the supposed NY attitude and BOOM! But NONE of them will have a strategy i can get behind unless they reveal a plot that puts Amanda in the crosshairs.
yeah and actually see it through not let it live and then die before it reaches fruition! I am excited for tomorrows show!

Got a question for you, Cat (and anyone else who wants to respond): I think we agree there aren’t many guests in this house – especially they way they’re currently playing – that make it easy to cheer for them to win, right? And I know that there’s no way to predict exactly how any of the evicted HGs would have acted if they’d stayed for weeks longer. But just knowing what we know now about all the HGs who entered the house – and assuming you could keep anyone in the house you wanted to – is there ANYone you think would be worthy of winning this season?
I’ll give my opinion: Jeremy and Kaitlyn, I think, were valid threats to have strong game moves, but they were just deplorable human beings. My vote would go to Nick. Although he left awfully early and he could have turned into another Spencer or McCrae (depending on if GM drove him nuts!), I think he may have had game. I liked Howard and could cheer for him as a person, but I’m not sure he was cut out for this game. And I’d vote to bring Jeremy back in if he honestly meant what he said when he left about learning some things about himself. But that’s it. Everyone else this season is a variation of either a bully or a floater.

I would vote for Jessica to come back or Candice. Candice had game the problem was she was dealing with racist people and they would not listen or want to be on her side because of her ethnicity. Shame, shame on CBS to allow the racial undertones and people to continue.
VGO lets get real racism goes both ways. Candice called them names too.. you calling her hill billy is not a name of love.. and calling her dumb blond is either… funny people only see what they want to see
Look Heidi, I’m the first person to NOT accept PC-ness in my every day life. I try to treat people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. And no, Candice was not perfect. But the difference between her rantings (mostly after Howard’s influence left the house) and those of Aaryn, GM, Kaitlyn, and others is that Candice stooped to their level in her own defense. Those others girls were HORRIBLE “mean girls” the first three weeks – to everyone. I still maintain their meanness just took the form of racism because Candice happened to be black, but they would have been ugly to her no matter her race because she wouldn’t giggle along with their immature ways. That said, Aaryn etc. were the first to interject race and ugliness into the house; Candice just reacted.

I don’t think anyone in the house is racist, I think they are just immature and rather stupid. I also think Candice brought on a lot of the treatment she received herself.
I’ve thought about that also. I agree with you on Nick. I think he went in with a definite game plan but was evicted before he revealed it to us. The only thing i think that would have affected his game negatively would have been GM. An albatross around his neck. As for any others, i think Kaitlin would have posed a major threat. I’ve read post interviews with her and she has said that she would have eventually tried to realign with Helen, Andy and Elissa. But crossing over to the other side of the house would have been difficult. Given more time and a possible realignment, i think things would have been much different. And competition wise she was a definite threat. I would have liked to witness her battling it out with Aaryn for comp wins. I think it would have been close as to who succeeded the most. Her attitude needed realignment also. But after Jeremy was evicted i think we saw the beginnings of a different Kaitlin. Funny, but there are photos out there of Nick and Kaitlin together (in a friends sort of way). Maybe if they had become a duo in the house we would be witnessing a whole new scenerio than what we see now.
I agree. It was fun watching Nick get evicted as I thought this was the start of an exciting season, but I regret cheering for it now. If there was a “do-over” I would definitely put Nick, then Kaitlin (possibly Jeremy -although he grated on my nerves), then Jessie, then Candice back in. These were the only HG (other than Helen) who have actually game-played rather than just floating – especially Nick! AND they got what was going on. However, on a personal note, I would like to have see David stay just because he was so funny (I am loathe to say “dumb blonde” or I might get harassed for the comment, although I am definitely blonde), and I think Aaryn would have played a lot differently and maybe more aggressively rather than just a scared pawn of Amanda & Helen.
Lilly, good question. I think looking back at the season so far, I think I would have to agree with you that Nick is the most deserving of all the HG’s that were in this house. Jeremy is a close second, I do believe that this game did change him in some respect. His post interview w/Julie Chen just outside the house when he left was a little eye opening. I think it is in ALL of our natural instincts to protect ourselves when we feel someone is attacking us. I know that myself, I have a tendency to be very protective of myself and my children and if anyone is to speak bad of them, I don’t necessarily react out load verbally. However, inside, I feel like ripping them a new one. My mother always told me to treat others as I would want to be treated. However, I don’t think my mother ever thought airing your so called dirty laundry out in public was okay. These HG’s this year are very raunchy to say the least. I wish that BB would have one of the other HG”s that were voted out prior to Jury to be given a chance to return to the game. If they are voted out, then they do not go to Jury. That’s my 2 cents.
Lilly I am with you on the Nick boat. I think he could have had real game potential. His major error was being ub the stupid guy alliance and letting McCrae in because he was HOH! But Nick would have been my vote for this season if he hadn’t gotten ousted so early…. Maybe it was his blessing in disguise from God to get booted before GM really got attached to him LOL

Yes, we keep watching – like a person who can’t take their eyes off an impending calamity happening before their eyes. The reason all of us die-hard BB fans are gathering in places like this to commiserate on our common misery is because we BLAME CBS for not giving us quality BB. There are always stupid or lazy HGs. There is always back-stabbing. But not to the extent where barely 1 or 2 HGs are worthy of watching at ALL. We BB fans feel cheated – having shown up with our usual enthusiasm to watch a good “game” – because someone, somewhere at CBS was too lazy to put much thought in to their BB15 season or its HGs.
So yea, we are watching and complaining. (For one thing, I think we’re kinda hoping the idiots at CBS will READ some of this and get a freaking CLUE!) But any true BB fan who DOESN’T have a problem with this season is either a moron or is lying about being a fan.
Just read that Amanda’s prescription for Xanax has ran out and she has been on a cocktail of adderall and Xanax all summer. Judd was on Xanax . Aaryn is on adderall. They drink and crave alcohol like towns drunks. Jessie threw a fit when she wasn’t invited to Helen’s BBQ where alcohol would be flowing. I’m starting to think we are watching Dr. Drew’s rehab. That’s going to be a first to have people on TV go through withdrawals on BB. Lmao- pot is legal in California so maybe someone can just give them a bowl to smoke. Now that explains it all for the blank stares and sleeping until the afternoon! Wait until she goes into full withdrawal – that will be just wonderful LOL
Just as a curious sidenote…On season 1 of BB, Dr Drew made weekly appearances to talk with Julie about the HGs. As you probably know, Dr Drew is an addiction specialist. I think this crew could use him more than any season EVER! Calling Dr. Drew…..stat!
That is very interesting Cat! I didn’t know that. I also heard Judd wanted to save his last 2 Xanax for a comp. last one I checked, that would have taken away his anxiety, but would have put him to sleep! Lol- it makes perfect sense why we can’t get a grasp on this crazy season…..

I know Barb and they are like Pavlov’s dog ‘s to it. Every nite they are asking about alcohol and running into the storage room! It’s not setting a very good example for te kids that are actually fans, ( my granddaughter being one of them), and even though the drinking isn’t aired on the episodes at 8, the kids are computer savvy and have looked at all of this!
I cannot stand Amanda and can’t wait until she’s voted out. If it’s not soon, she could win. Andy is a super snake and Spencer is a super loser.

I agree Tom. Amanda has got to go, SOON! Long over due. Andy doesn’t really have a clue what he is really doing I don’t think. Back and forth, back and forth! He’ll get dizzy and confused pretty soon, then he will drop like a fly! In my opinion, Nick probably would have been a good player. BUT, I don’t believe he will even show up at the finale, OMG! GM!
This back-and-worth rat activity better be Andy’s strategy. Because otherwise – since being a weasel seems to come so easily to him – that means he’s like that in real life!

Hey, Gary, we’ve decided tonight that we’re going to get some voodoo dolls (for everyone except Elissa, the person returning from jury, and Aaryn–because she can’t compete) and help give Elissa a bit of an edge in the HOH comp! Feel free to just slap that Amanda doll’s face to your heart’s content…. (I’m joking, of course.)

So listening to you all about the people who left and watching all the nomination and eviction speeches, they get rid of the really good players first because the are the “threats”. So that leaves the mediocre people to win all the money. I really never thought of it in those terms until you all pointed it out for me. I agree Amanda needs to go!! But if she doesn’t go I still think that maybe the “jury” will vote the other person because they dislike her that much. I just hope that it is not GM, Aaryn, or Spencer. Good watching:)
I agree Sally but I do believe GM can’t really help the way she is. No, she hasn’t plaid the game at all really, just hanging in there, waiting to see who tells her what to do next. LOL. It’s a crazy season but YES, AMANDA NEEDS OUT OF THERE QUICK!

I wished Amanda played in that one and Elissa would have pushed her face in the mud and then Amanda could have pouted, cause she cant win anything.
I don’t get why Spencer is still in the house, why, oh why, someone help me understand. At least the rest of the contestants are a bit more interesting. His talents are, drinking beer fast and belching louder than the rest. to his credit he accomplishes all that at lighting speed. While the other house members are begging for beer, he is grinning inside with a full belly.
And him and McCrae steal it from the other HG! I have seen them chug it in the storage room, hide the cans in a chip bag, then return quickly to the others and give them whatever’s left plus take more of theirs! Between his burping and disgusting comments and McCrae’s farting so loud it sounds like a duck, (along with all the other grossness we a gripe about daily) this show has absolutely no class whatsoever 🙂

Yes, these guys know that the cameras and microphones are everywhere. Although, it is natural of our bodies to respond these ways, there is no need to be so indiscreet. And, these guys are selfish toward the rest, Big Brother should announce to all to go to the Pantry(or what ever that room is) when they are drinking the beers. It just isn’t cool to see them walk out with a beer for a few and another in their pants for later, saying that it is all they got.
Aw, come on now. Alcohol is how McCrae is stomaching hanging out with Amanda all day everyday now that the allure has worn off!

Nah, it doesn’t take cellulite. That woman keeps McCrae under her thumb constantly. He even commented once a couple of weeks ago about how this relationship is turning out “like so many others he’s been in before.” If he even tries to talk to her intelligently about her game play or big mouth, she pulls the pouty mind games on him. And I’m sure he knows what she’ll be withholding if he dares grow a brain.
