If you are one of those people that refuse to read any of our Big Brother 2014 spoilers and you only watch the shows on CBS then you have no idea what has happened since we saw Cody put up his nominees for Week 9 on Big Brother 2014! If you do keep up, then you know all the excitement that has happened since then and the drama and tears that are hopefully shown tonight! Tonight, we will see Team America try their new mission, Victoria (yeah, she is still in the house) have a medical scare and the Power of Veto competition and meeting are held!

Here we go…back to the Nomination Ceremony and Donny calls out Cody and said he’d never target him by himself. All we have is veto to work for us. Here comes the talk of Donny being a genius again and Caleb thinks he is Rain Man and special intelligence in the military and he reads people really well. One thing is for sure: Caleb is not very bright!
So, Cody did think about putting Frankie up on the block and taking Donny down. However, Derrick talks him out of it. He said Donny would put him up next week if he won HoH. Um, I think Donny would not target you if you saved him.
TEAM AMERICA: Donny gets the card for the mission and they can make up their own mission this week and it has to be approved by America. If the vote ends with America being impressed, then they get $5,000. Donny says his mission would be to keep all of Team America together! It has to be done by Veto Meeting.
I guess they are going to show Donny trying to work this mission to keep all of Team America on the block. He is good with this plan and tells Frankie and Derrick to keep all of Team America safe, especially since Donny is on the block.
Now we see Victoria and her face is swelling up and she hurts and is embarrassed. It is with her wisdom teeth and she does not look like she is having fun. It all escalates to Victoria going in the bathroom and passing out! In come the medics and she is out of it! We see the HGs helping her out and being kind and Donny said a little prayer for her….love that man. They take her into the Diary Room. She comes back out and is feeling better and ready to compete.
Derrick meets with Frankie and he is anti-save Donny plan and he does not think that would be an acceptable mission or that America would approve and will think of something fun….ugh.
Time to pick players for the Veto Competition for Week 9. They will be Cody, Nicole, Donny, Christine, Derrick and Frankie! This does not look good for Nicole and Donny, but then again, did it ever?
Donny talks with Derrick and he doesn’t get why everyone is so paranoid about him and he does nothing wrong. Derrick says some nice things to Donny and I like hearing it, but in comes Frankie and they talk about the mission. Frankie doesn’t think it would work to save Donny and it would look too risky. He wants to do a freaking play! Donny gives up and Derrick sheds some tears. He knows Donny is an amazing man and would win, which is why he has to go home and you can’t blame him for that one. Derrick is worried about this play getting approved by America (it won’t).
VETO COMPETITION: For this, they have BB Cafe and they get to scope out the area and check out all the goodies in the cafe. Frankie is supposed to win this and they need to win three clearance badges. They can answer the question and either stay or fold. If they stay and closest to the number, then they get a badge. If they fold, they get to come back for the next round. If they stay and furthest from the correct answer, they are eliminated! The winner also gets to go to the premiere of Scorpion!
ROUND 1: Frankie is amazing at numbers, so he’s got this! Donny and Frankie stay, but everyone else folds. Frankie is furthest away and is eliminated!!!! Donny gets a clearance badge!
ROUND 2: Everyone folds but Cody, so he gets a badge and now he is the man for The Detonators.
ROUND 3: Why does Cody answer like he is annoyed to even be there? They all fold but Cody, so he gets his second badge!
ROUND 4: They all fold besides Cody, so he gets his third badge and wins the veto! They were all too afraid to play and bad, bad move by Nicole and Donny!!! He takes Nicole and Donny to the Scorpion premiere!
We get to see the screening, as they have a room full of snacks and both Donny and Nicole are Have Nots, so they are eating up the food! They love the show, but don’t they have to say that?
Frankie starts dropping the ball that he wants to do something fun and the eight remaining HGs will play the eight evicted HGs. What they didn’t show was that production put them on a fake lockdown and were forced to do this because no one wanted to. How ridiculous does Frankie look??? Donny says his mission would have been better and we agree!
Derrick is letting paranoia take over, as he has not had a chance to chat with Cody all week because Christine, Caleb and Frankie won’t leave him alone. They want to separate Frankie and Caleb and Cody doesn’t want to miss a chance to make a big move and then be sitting on the block next week. We’ll see about that one….
TEAM AMERICA VOTE: I need each and every one of you to CLICK HERE and VOTE OPTION 2!!! The mission was a farce and they don’t deserve money!!!
VETO MEETING: Nicole says she doesn’t expect Cody to use it on her, but expect the unexpected! Cody does not make any changes, so Donny and Nicole remain on the block!

I saw they’re pre empting big brother for a football game tomorrow night, at least in oklahoma they are. I really don’t think I can stand to watch donny get evicted

Julie will announce the results during the live show! TA was informed and she will ask them what food they want and they have to reply “apple pie” and she will say “granted” if they pass. We’ll see their looks right away when they know it failed!

Well, I couldn’t resist punishing myself last night, so I did watch BB. I couldn’t help but think that maybe Donny IS a genius. Sometimes I read too much into things, but I think Donny was correct about why America gave TA their mission. To save Donny and keep TA together. I think Derrick knew it too, but Frankie had no clue. Why would Frankie think that America would want to watch them act like jesters? I voted NO to “should TA be rewarded,” all 20 times! That was lame! Cody gave me a ray of hope with his “let’s backdoor Frankie” speech with Derrick, and I was actually duped (for a few minutes) into thinking that Cody had grown a pair of orbs, but alas, my hopes were dashed, as soon as Derrick opened his mouth. Cody isn’t as dumb as he appears. I think Cody does realize that what’s good for everyone else’s game, is not good for his individual game, but he just doesn’t have the orbs to follow through with his calculating strategies. In other words, he’s spineless. If not for Derrick, I think Cody would have played a more strategically stronger game. It’s unfortunate that Cody is a follower and not a leader. Once Donny is gone, I think the boys may target Frankie and Christine next. Cody did tell Derrick that he doesn’t trust Frankie or Christine, and that was music to my ears. It actually made my ears tingle with excitement for a moment. Cody seemed a bit eager when he thought Derrick would go along with his strategy to take Donny down and put Frankie in the hot seat, but Derrick swiftly dashed all hope on that notion and threw cold water in Cody’s face. Cody truly looked crestfallen for a few seconds…LOL. I did feel some respect towards Derrick when he had his pleasant talk with Donny. I think Derrick was really sincere when he told Donny that he has a big heart and that he’s a nice guy, and the HG are afraid of him. I do think that Derrick truly likes and respects Donny for many reasons. I also think that Derrick may have kept Donny around, but this is a game and Derrick wants to keep people that he believes he can beat at the end. I can’t say that I blame Derrick, because if I were playing for all that dough, I’d feel the same way. Derrick is just playing the game the way it’s intended to be played. If the HGs want to be oblivious to that fact and willingly hand the money over to Derrick, who is he to try and stop them? LOL. I don’t have sympathy for pushovers. They’ve made their beds and now, when the doors hit them in the bum-bum on their way out, they’ll have to sleep in empty beds, without sheets. I think Derrick would’ve been my favorite player this season, if he hadn’t been so unkind to Donny. I have compassion for people who feel alone and outnumbered. I must say, that of all the HG this season, I feel that Derrick does deserve to win the whole enchilada if he makes F2. At this point, I can already envision Derrick at the end. No one is even thinking about targeting Derrick. He has no blood on his hands, because everyone has done his dirty work for him, he hasn’t really been too disrespectful towards anyone in the house (just a little), and he’s been a bit of a hero to most of the girls in the house. So, sorry if this upsets anyone, but IMPO, Derrick deserves to win it all. I can’t wait to watch the finale! I can’t wait to see the looks on all the HGs faces when they find out that Derrick is a cop! They all think Donny (especially Caleb) is the covert player, when in actuality it’s been Derrick. Derrick being a cop is a big deal, because cops are trained to manipulate and read people. I think if these paranoid HGs had known he was a cop all along, they would have definitely evicted him a long time ago. It’s going to be hilarious when Caleb finds out that Donny is exactly who he claims to be and Derrick is the real covert player. Maybe there is hope for a happy ending after all…hahaha. Just visualizing all the different scenarios inside my head is making me feel excitement and renewed hope! My post is IMPO, of course. Sorry my post is so long. I guess I got carried away 🙂
Shirene, I do tend to agree with you, though the hours and hours Cat has watched Derrick (which I have not) on the live feeds leads her to a different conclusion about Derrick’s character. I WANT to believe that he is only playing the game – and very well – and that he is NOT the conniving, two-faced person he appears to be in the house. But it is difficult to ignore all the things Cat has described – plus, I’ve noticed some things. Yes, I believe he sincerely wishes he didn’t have to get rid of Donny (maybe the weeks of intense targeting of the good man finally caused enough regret to bring tears), but I also think he’s VERY aware of the cameras. And of Donny’s jury vote.
Out of these hgs, though, he has played masterfully. I know others think Derrick has done well because he hasn’t had much IQ in that house to compete with, but I do believe he is an excellent manipulator (an expert with an unfair advantage, as Cat would argue) and that some hgs would have played more bold games without Derrick in the house. We have to remember, the reason the Detonators (Who is that, really? I though Zach was one! I’m referring to Derrick, Cody, Frankie, Christine, and Caleb.) have stuck with what Derrick suggests is because it’s kept them safe until now. It’s about to change, and we’ll see who pounces first: Derrick or Frankie. And how long Derrick can keep enough votes with him to get himself to F3 will be something to watch.
It’s hard to tell how/what people are really like in the real world. In fact, based on personal experiences, you can know someone for many years and still never really know who they are behind closed doors. People have a tendency to act completely different, depending on their surroundings and current situations. But, I have no doubt that Derrick is a bully outside the game too. His devious actions are just too perfect to be anything but. That takes years of practice. I think he was emotional with Donny for a moment, because his conscience is killing him, and he probably knows that many people love Donny. I think Derrick realized that Donny was right about the plan to keep him for the TA challenge too, but like everyone else in the house, Derrick is a coward. But, I still think he’s the better player of the group, which I know isn’t saying much, but this is only MPO of course.
Was it just me or did they make Donny look like the bad guy in the conversation with Derek on last nights’ show?
They said that Derek extended the olive branch and Donny was not coming clean, so Derek can’t save him. (not the exact wording but the jist of it) Then they show Donny saying he wants to see Victoria do another skit (talk about making him look like a big Perv!)
I am not amused at the bad edit Donny received and Derek got the golden boy edit…..wth BB!?!
