Big Brother 2014 Live Recap: Episode 34 – New Night, Same Stuff
|Big Brother 2014 has shifted it’s schedule to make room for Thursday Night Football on CBS and that means Big Brother 16 will air on Tuesday nights now and we get our first addition tonight. It is Veto Night on Big Brother 2014 and the chance to see the final nominees for Week 11, which doesn’t even matter! The good stuff will happen tomorrow night on Big Brother 16, but until then follow along with our Big Brother 2014 Live Recap and see who won Power of Veto on Big Brother 2014 tonight!

If you are one of those people that refuse to read any of our Big Brother 2014 spoilers and you only watch the shows on CBS then you have no idea what has happened since we saw Frankie put up his nominees for Week 11 on Big Brother 2014! If you do keep up, then you know all the non-excitement that has happened since then and we’ll see what CBS shows us to keep us interested tonight! Here we go…back to the Nomination Ceremony and Frankie thinks it’ll be the guys in the final four and Victoria has served her role of doing nothing all season long. Cody tells Frankie that he is not worried and they are all going to F4.
Now we hear Victoria talk herself up, as she is going to take Derrick to the F2! She said he is her sidekick and she has played a good social game. Who fed her these lines to read tonight???
Caleb and Cody talk about where they go from here and no way Victoria is staying over Cody. Caleb says he did think about sending Cody home and if he doesn’t win veto than it would be easier to beat Victoria and make F3. Caleb, such a cute face and body, but no brains up there! Now Cody and Derrick talk and it is a discussion on Frankie and Caleb and who to send home and they talk about BB Rewind and it could make Frankie not safe, which is true….if anyone else can win a freaking comp!
BB Rewind: The HGs are all worried about this and their wild thoughts. Derrick thinks it will help someone, but hurt someone else. Cody said it will spray them with $100 bills. They are in the room until one of them is out alive! Frankie thinks someone good is going to come of it. Now we see Caleb and Cody doing some karate kicks and chops to speed up the time. It is actually pretty funny because they are crazy. Caleb kills a fly and feels the hair raise on his body. Um, the hair that he shaves off????
VETO COMPETITION: This is the BB Freak Show and they will be doing it at separate times, so they all went to their own rooms. There are six freaks behind curtains, which are three of the HGs morphed into one face! The HG that gets all six of the freaks guessed correctly in the shortest amount of time will win veto!
Caleb is up first and was excited to see “his girl” Amber. He seems to do pretty well. Frankie struggles with the first freak, but gets it together and is moving quickly. Now it is time for Victoria and she is a photographer and notices all the details, so she is going to win this comp…we’ll see about that one! They definitely didn’t make it look like she was almost double everyone else in time! Cody is next and he is having fun with it and laughing at all the different faces. They definitely make it seem like he moved quickly through them. Derrick is last and he is a cop, so he can remember a face. He wants to win so he can take Cody off the block and put up Caleb. The one with Hayden, Brittany and Amber definitely threw everyone off!
RESULTS:
- Cody – 12:14
- Caleb – 8:39
- Victoria – 17:18
- Frankie – 5:54
- Derrick – 6:17
That means Frankie wins veto and he claims he is the player to beat in this game and they should have gotten him out when they had the chance, which is so true! Cody is NOW pissed he didn’t backdoor Frankie when he was HoH because Frankie is a beast. This people are idiots! Derrick said that Frankie painted a huge target on his back with this victory and it might not be wiped off.
It just drives me insane watching all these people and saying they should have gotten rid of Frankie last week. Now Derrick goes to Frankie and he bows down to him to use to take him to the F2. Derrick says it will be a dog fight…..real soon. Well, hopefully, since the season is almost over!
Jeff & Jordan came in the other day and Jeff said it was disgusting and stunk, so now the HGs are doing a big cleanup of the house.
TEAM AMERICA: Derrick gets their next mission and they are to find a rodent and keep everyone up all night on mouse patrol. They just cleaned the house, so he is a little more worried about this one. Since Derrick said they stay up until 1am anyway, so they will find the rat then.
They “see it” later at night and Frankie does a good job of acting and screaming like a big girl. Cody is more scared, as he is standing on chairs and so afraid! Caleb is on a mission to catch this thing and rats are not stupid, but he is! This is a lame mission, but it was funny watching some of their reactions. They get to 6am and mission accomplished.
Frankie has some alone time and talking to the camera and he has won nine comps on Big Brother 16 and he has won three in a row. He thinks he has carried the boys to this point and knows they are coming after him. For real, if he knows they will come after him, why not put two of them on the block and then have them fight it out. He can’t play for HoH next week (supposedly), so you have no safety without a veto win.
VETO MEETING: This was actually done on the live feeds, which never happens! They both give their speeches, but it doesn’t matter. Frankie does not use the veto, so the nominees stay the same and Cody and Victoria remain on the block….until we BB Rewind tomorrow!!!
Big night tomorrow, as we see what happens with that BB Rewind, we see some jury house footage and Dan Gheesling returns! I am thinking it will be a rewind and no full week in one hour! How can they fit all that in?

OMG, Cat, I can’t wait to see his face when the one and only Don walks into the BB house tomorrow.
I can’t say as i would blame him though. As a BB fan, it’s one of those things that would be on your BB Bucket list. And while i’m looking forward to the shocked face he will surely have, i’m kind of happy for him too that he would get the chance to have a superfan dream come true. We don’t always get face to face meetings with those we admire. And while BB has no true heros, it would still be exciting to meet a master of the game.

With so much going on tomorrow night, I don’t think it will be like a DE night. They rewind and make us sit through the whole week again. Anyone agree?

Yeah, way too much going on to do a whole week in one hour. We do have a special Friday night show on 9/19, so that could factor into something.
It should be a fun episode though and good to see the jury house!
Do you think the Friday show could be the “memory talk” episode? They do one every year and by then we should be down to F3.

Lol…usually when they get down to F3 they give them a big dinner and they talk about things that happened that season. They do the same thing on Survivor only they call it the “memory walk”.
Duh, duh, duh! It could be, especially if that is the final episode before the finale on 9/24. Football is messing with it all!
They usually burn the torches and the “camp” area on Survivor so do we dare hope they might torch the BB house? 😉

Of all those happenings, the ones I am most looking forward to are definitely jury house and Dan’s visit. Any idea what the HOH comp might be?
Agree! with the jury house and Don tomorrow night…. I doubt they’ll have time for DE.
With the timing, I think one will be voted out as only 2 weeks remain… So one more next week, with a DE as only 2 remaine for the Finale.
But the last person evicted is on Finale night. They join the jury on stage. So they could still have no eviction and make it to 2 left for the finale.
I cannot believe none of them have taken care of the biggest rat in the house–the one with the pink hair and tight shorts. I am so afraid they have cut it too close and he is going to be in the finals. I had seen his little HOH room soliloquy on live feeds and gagged then–gagged again tonight so I have a big announcement. I am going to sell tapes of that as a “diet aid” as I feel sure just about anyone would lose their appetite watching that. Good idea or not? It sure took away my appetite.

Just as an aside, President Obama, has scheduled a speech tomorrow night about ISIS…Hope it doesn’t preempt BB.
I’ve been wondering about that. The Presidents speeches usually start around 8:00. Which could put us back to 9:00 if it runs long. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
It starts at 9pm, so we should be fine….not sure how any of the other shows that night will work though!

Said it before but TA was over when they got rid of Donnie!!!! As far the the mission? It was not a mouse but a house full of rats!!! So looking forward to tomorrow show where… Frankie will leave? 🙂 On a lighter note, Victoria reminds me of Chrissy Snow…. Remember her? LOL

Yes, Frankie will probably win HOH again but, his luck has to give out sometime….and hopefully it will be Wednesday (or Thursday) whenever the HOH is held. I would love for him to get so upset by this twist (?) that he cannot function, nor can he win anymore comps….or, I am hoping that Victoria really is not a failure at comps and comes out and shows these boys what she is made of. After listening to her recently, she is not as dumb as many people think. I really think that there is a brain in that head of hers and maybe….just maybe, she will figure out that the time is now for her inner woman to come out and do some winning of comps….we can only hope…
Good luck with that Beth. I do believe she is that dumb and just plain lazy. She doesn’t even try most times. She did try last night in the POV but her skills which are none made her lose big time yet again.
GM not to mention she stared at those photos for a long time before the comp. She should have moved faster, they all where moving slow except for Frannkie, you think they would have moved faster, but again NOT…
Don’t forget the part when she was having a hard time getting them right she says I am so over this competition! Total waste of space!!!
