We started tonight’s episode of Big Brother off with the HGs going back into the house after the HOH competition. They are just walking around, checking out the house, and claiming their beds. They all sit in the living room and introduce themselves to the group. Xavier says that the girl in the house that will put his “Operation No-Mance” in jeopardy would be Alyssa. Azah shares that she comes from a polygamous family. The others continue to share where they are from and what they do for a living.

After the intros are done, the Have-Nots, Xavier, Sarah Beth, Alyssa, and Christian go and check out their room for the week. It looks like a run-down boathouse. There is even a broken-down jet ski in the room.

Derek F and Frenchie are talking in one of the bedrooms and they make a F2 deal on night one inside the house. Frenchie continues to go around to all of the women in the house and tells them all that they are safe this week. Frenchie tells us that being a fan of the show, he isn’t going to do what everyone else has done in the past and nominate the usual suspects first. He tells the women in the house that he is going to get a man out of the house first.

Frenchie has a one-on-one with Brent because he hasn’t had a chance to talk to him yet. Brent tells Frenchie that he admires his passion for his family and his story. Brent shares with him that he lost his father to suicide and even though it’s not the same as losing a child (Frenchie lost a child), he knows what it feels like to lose someone close. Frenchie gives him a hug and then apologizes for assuming he was a hard ass and judging him based on his appearance. Brent tells us that he is used to that happening because it’s been happening to him all his life. Frenchie tells Brent that he has nothing to worry about this week and asks Frenchie for the same safety if Brent should win HOH next week.

It is time for the Wildcard Comp! Frenchie says that because his team is safe, they will not be competing. He adds that each week, the teams who are not safe for the week will choose one person to play. Each week there will be some kind of choice to make for the winner, this week the option of safety is on the table. Each HG can only compete once unless all the members of their team have competed and if the teams can’t choose, a random draw will be done.

Kyland will be competing from the Queens, Christian will be competing from the Kings, and the Aces put it up for a random draw. Frenchie picked out of a bag of chips with their names on it and Hannah’s name is drawn.

In this week’s Wildcard Comp, the HGs have to search through a trashed hotel suite for their wallet, cellphone, and keys. They get 5 minutes and they have to do this comp as quietly as possible. They will get point deductions for noises over certain decible levels and points deducted for every 10 seconds over the 5-minute limit.

Kyland goes first, Christian goes second, Hannah goes last. They all lose points for noise, but here are the noise scores! The lowest score wins.

  • Hannah gets a score of 414
  • Christian gets a score of 125
  • Kyland gets a score of 486

That means Christian has won the Wildcard Comp and has safety for the week. Frenchie then brings out this wheel and explains that Christian is safe, but now he has to spin the wheel to find out how many teammates he can also keep safe. If it lands on three, his whole team is safe, but if he lands on one or two, he will have to choose who is safe. He gets up and spins the wheel and it lands on one, he chooses to keep Xavier safe because he remembers Sarah Beth and Alyssa telling him that Frenchie told them they were safe already this week.

Frenchie is not happy about Christian being safe this week because he has no idea what he’s going to do this week for nominations. Frenchie is walking around the house observing everything. Frenchie has noticed that Christian is flirting a lot with Alyssa and he hates showmances. Frenchie then asks a group of HGs if anyone has approached them with an alliance and Alyssa is the first to answer. She tells them no, she is just close with her team at this point. Frenchie isn’t buying what she is trying to sell though.

It is time for the Nomination Ceremony! Frenchie has nominated Kyland and Alyssa for eviction. He tells them that he had a dream he went fishing and in order to catch a big fish, he needs good bait. He then tells Kyland that he nominated him because he needed someone he could trust to play in the POV.

Make sure you come back on Wednesday to find out who wins the POV competition! You can find out who now by checking out our Big Brother spoilers!
