Just a quick post today, as there isn’t much to report from the Big Brother 14 House.

UPDATE:  SORRY! I just HAD to share this one snippet of conversation from yesterday.  Danielle kept asking Dan and Ian what kind of man they can see her marrying– what kind of personality she has–what other players they’d compare her to…. ON and ON and ONNNNN..

At one point, Dan told her that (get this) He’d compare Danielle to a cross between Jordan and Dani Donato!!!!  I thought— Yeah…. Maybe in the ghettos of Bizzaro World..  Sheesh…

With only the sorry remnants of the “Quack Pack” to entertain us, we turn our thoughts to the end game. We’ve already discussed who we think will win the whole thing–but not who should be awarded the last prize of the season…The All-Important…America’s Vote.

In years past, (up until Season 11) it was called the Jury Prize (remember those days?) And only those in Jury were eligible to win. That affects this season in a big way, as ex-all star and ex-America’s Fave, Janelle has a rabid fan base, who is likely–as we speak–jamming the phone lines with texts.

But come on people, think about it. Janelle went out fourth. Should she be rewarded for how she played in PAST seasons or this one?? And no matter if you like her or not, you HAVE to admit, her game play this season left a lot…a LOT… to be desired. For many of the same reasons people voted for Janelle in the past–winning comps when her butt was on the line–there’s another player that is MUCH worthier in THIS season…Britney also, is an ex AC winner. And though I was definitely NOT a fan on her original season, her game this year was a lot sharper. Plus, she’s funny as hell. But again…Gameplay??? Ehh…

BUT (and I think you know where I’m going with this) there is someone else who I am going to vote for. He was targeting from Week One. He had to win competitions over and over to save his own hide. In 9 weeks of play, he was either HOH or on the block. He never once….NOT ONCE…got to play as an ordinary citizen. When other HG’s were put on the block ONCE, they crumbled, acting weepy or salty as the case may be. Not him. Not Frank. He fought. Like the Big Brother warrior he was. All he wanted in the game was someone to work with. To trust.

Frank was saddled with Boogie from the get-go. It wasn’t a choice he made freely. And yet he did the best he could, playing with a person that everyone in the house disliked. That wouldv’e been a hard road to hoe for anyone. And finally, Frank came to the BB House with the all-consuming love and joy in the game that few other players this season can claim. Dan loves the game. But has he sullied it’s reputation forever? Ian also is a life-long devotee with a very good chance at the whole enchilada.

Of all the HG’s who made it into the house, only those three are true-blue, dyed in the wool BB fans. Like you. Like me. And since either Dan or Ian have a good shot at winning…..My vote goes to the other REAL Big Brother Fan left….Frank.

You do what you like, of course. Vote with your conscience. But if you are a real fan of this show, you’ll take all the facts into consideration and vote for who you think TRIED hardest. Who WANTED it the most. And who went through the most adversity.

Now, I will say this–in the event that the F2 ends up being Dan and Dani (gag on a mouse-turd) Ian is also a likely contender.

The only news to report in the house, is one more stunt Dan is pulling–this time on Danielle. Last night (FLASHBACK 9:32pm BBT) Dan acted super-depressed in front of Danielle, telling her he knows he can’t win–and can’t possibly beat her–because of the “sh!tty” way he’s played. The duped Dani spent twenty minutes trying to pep him up, going on about how no one played a better game than him.

After she left, Dan looked up at the cameras with a poop-eating grin on his face and mouthed “I love this game.” His purpose, of course, is to have a reason NOT to take Danielle, if the dilemma presents itself. He can always refer her back to that convo, saying “Remember how I told you, I couldn’t beat you.”

*shakes head* Oh Dan, Dan, Dan….

Well the masks have come off in Big Brother 14. Or, actually I should say Danielle’s mask has come off.

It wasn’t much of one in the first place. WE saw through her, didn’t we? But Danielle’s “sore loser” side is coming out in such a momumental way, that even though in the past, I’ve been upset with Ian–if I could, I’d gather the little guy up in my arms and rock him. Though most of this is a plan by she and Dan. As Dani put it: “If you put me out, I will taint the Jury against you. If Dan cuts me, I expect it–so then I’d judge by speeches. If you think Dan will be nice to you in his speech, you’re a fool. He is gonna BURN you, Ian…You don’t even know. Whoever cuts me…I will ruin their game forever.”

Pshaw.. Yeah right. Stupid Danielle, you’ll have like two minutes to work your magic. Good luck with that. And as any proper Southern lady is taught by her mama as soon as she can talk…. As long as you use a certain phrase–you can insult anyone and it doesn’t count against you. Example: That Lucy-Mae’s baby is not very cute, bless her heart.  OR  Boy, Salli-Lou’s butt is getting bigger every day, bless her heart. So–I can say this with impunity...’Danielle, Sugah– I feel so bad for you, when you learn that America doesn’t view you as a ‘sweet’ girl in a Showmance. Oh no, honey. We think you’re a raving lunatic–Bless Your Heart–who is finally showing your true character.

After Danielle ravaged Ian, she then went in to talk to Dan about how much it will suck if she has to leave there with nothing but “cancer surgery” to look forward to. OOOOOOOO, I’d like to rip one of those fricken enormous zits right off her face!

Though it’s upsetting Ian and ruining his last few days in the house with her exponentially-increasing brattiness–I don’t think Ian’s buying it. And the way she’s treating him is only hardening his resolve NOT to take her if he wins. THIS too, may be part of Dan’s plan for his own safety, since he’s the one egging her on….

But let’s put that aside for now (cause until the F3 on Finale Night, it’s all moot anyhow) and talk about Jury Votes.

But before we do– I just want to say Thank you!!!! And tell you how much I enjoyed spending this season with all of you. If it wasn’t for you, the readers and commenters, this would be no fun at all! Let’s get down to brass tacks…Historically, the Jury Votes for the best player. The one who was the “getter” in the “I got ‘got’ game.” But Dan’s behavior this season was so outrageous, that it could change the name on the key they place in the box.

As it stands now–here is how I believe the Jury Votes will fall out.

FIRST–People forget that when they aired the first  JH footage, Frank had JUST been evicted–and screwed over for the umpteenth time.

IF Frank’s the true Big Brother fan I believe he is–I think he’ll come around and vote for the best player in the end.

Joe seemed to be the most indignant over the emotional manipulations that Dan employed during the “funeral” I think he thinks Dan is a scumbag. (Well….) End of story…And he’s a single-minded enough person that he’ll think that if Dan wins and picks Danielle, that she would “deserve” the win for all she’s been through. I think Jenn will vote for Dani, too, since she is SERIOUSLY all about “girl power”…UNLESS Britney can make her understand. Dan’s dirty, no doubt about it, and most of his tactics (using the bible, particularly) were absolutely reprehensible and unnecessary, as I’ve said.

But you cannot argue with the results. (well you can–and should if you wish, actually.)

But here’s how I think it plays out–Debate!

Dan/Dani:

Ashley–Dan (see Frank’s vote below)

Brit–Dan

Frank–Dan (IF he can get over his anger-he’ll influence Ashley’s vote)

Joe–Danielle

Ian–Dan (even if Dan picks Danielle, Ian will never choose her after the way she treated him)

Now–as I said…..I love you all—-now LET THE DEBATE BEGIN!!!

MAN! I missed it! And I apologize profusely for not sharing this bit of Big Brother 14 News.

Last night, right after the feeds came back from the HOH comp, (FLASHBACK–9:06pm BBT) and we learned that Ian won…Dani went off on Ian in a screaming rant to rival that of any worthy Banshee.

It was a masterful performance from practiced liars on TWO levels. First, the reason Danielle lamblasted Ian in the first place, is because of the scheme Dan cooked up –in which he’d celebrate in front of her–if Ian wins–and then she’d go off on Ian–threatening him with skanking his Jury Votes. Dan’s plan is to get Ian to throw the final HOH to him–convincing Ian that if he/Dan is the one who votes Danielle out, then she (and Shane) would vote for Ian. But if Ian votes Dani out, Ian might lose, whereas Danielle already “hates” Dan. Duh… I will say this for Ian–during Dan’s “celebrating” Ian asked “did you cook this up?”Second, Dan would then take Danielle instead of Ian.

They were good. Dan and Dani even had me fooled for a nano-second. Still, poor Ian was totally flustered and upset.

I don’t think it will work in the end. Ian may be naive, but I think he knows what’s what. He likely can’t beat Danielle. So, the scheme to get Ian to throw the Final HOH SHOULD fail.. SHOULD, I say, though Dani and Dan plan to hector the little fellow until finale night.

Be afraid. Be VERY afraid of this Big Brother 14 Face.

Cause Danielle informed Dan last night, if he “screws her over” she’s going to blow. Oooooooo…. Did you feel the cold shiver of someone walking across your grave??

Oh she’s scary all right. EXTREMELY scary. But just not in the way she thinks. And it’s Shane who should be afraid…at least in four more days…RUN Forrest RUN!!

Last night, after an evening of play-time,

Dan and Danielle settled down to a very uncomfortable chess game, where Danielle grilled Dan over and over as to why he did the things he did. Why he “backstabbed” her. Dan finally explained (between chuckles that infuriated the increasingly dumbfounded Danielle) that when she talked him out of getting rid of Shane during the DE, it was the worst decision Dan had made in the game. Dan: “Look at you, you’re still walking around in Shane’s sweatpants. You wouldn’t have ever evicted him. When I had another shot at Shane, I had to take it. Now I control the game.” Dani: “Well, I’m wearing his sweatpants (which fit her pretty well…just saying) cause 1–I’m cold and 2…*crickets*” Dan, smirking… “See?”

After that, Dani finally seemed to calm down, and yet she grumbled on about how she has nightmares that she will go out third. (Nightmare for you….Beautiful dream for the rest of us.) IAN/DAN F2!!

Dan told Danielle that even if Ian wins the second part of the Final HOH (which should play out tonight and will most likely–I know I’ve said this three times now, but COME ON, they HAVE to play it–be the Face Morph comp) he will be able to get Ian to throw Part 3. Well, I don’t think Ian would do that–at least I hope he won’t– UNLESS Dan can convince Ian that he/Dan needs to be the one to cut Dani. Which he won’t. But since Dan is pretty certain both the remaining HG’s want to take him, I’m pretty sure Dan doesn’t care who wins the Final HOH in the end.

In the course of ten minutes, Danielle told Dan:

1. I gave up surgery on what they think is Breast Cancer to come here. {oh! It’s cancer now and not scar tissue…omg–don’t make me come in there and smack that bun off your head-you psycho-liar}
2. Well, I will probably win Face Morph anyway, since I do have a photographic memory. {ugh…just ugh..}
